The profile of our little card. When he tried out for the play he was bent (no pun intended, ha) on getting a 'card' part since I told him they painted roses red and stuff...unfortunately this is the trial of Alice in Wonderland so they only sang about it. Good thing Jyson is stellar at memorizing songs like the first time he hears them!
A song...Jyson told me the director instructed them not to smile much because they are guards. He was very good at the part.
Extra space at the back? We'll take it for the littles...poor Rhett, following the 2 rounds of Pink Eye he had a couple weeks of green-nose-itis, followed by a weird rash break-out around his eyes & mouth. Doc said it was eczema & prescribed over-the-counter cortisone cream, but I developed my own theories/alternate treatment plan & as of today he's about 90% better. He wasn't his sprightly self for quite awhile. See below:
And back to our regularly-scheduled program...
Tons of songs made it fun to watch!
But after awhile, this guy needed a book break
The official paintbrush
Our card. Way to go bud!
And what better way to celebrate the 'almost spring' weather we had? A fire! Good thing we did it then because winter & spring battled for weeks until finally, I can now say that our weather report is in the 70's all this next week!
Fire and a carving knife. This is the life.
Our little pyros...Tony says they take after him. I say they take after the boy/man race.
And to top it off...the boys constructed their own lean-to with a tarp, a billion bricks n' sticks & a sleeping bag for extra cush. I guess cub scouts is finally paying off...
