Family pics

 We recently had family pictures taken in Stillwater.  I wanted to go back there and have pics taken at Theta pond this year.  I went to high school with a girl who is a wonderful photographer there, Averi Blackmon. We had a great time taking pics and are so happy with who they turned out.  

Flag football

 Dawson is playing flag football again this year and loves it.  It's amazing to see how much he's progressed since last year. Geoff is coaching once again and does a great job.  I think that he loves it as much as the kids do.                                                 

 Hudson and Lincoln love playing with each other while their big brothers play football.

 We were in pants and coats last week and we were hot this week.  

 Dawson's 1st touch down for this game. 

 Dawson is very good at catching the ball and Geoff had someone throw it to him for one of the plays.  You can see the sequence of events in this picture with him being tackled at the end.

The daily bus arrival celebration

Hudson and Sloane are crazy about Dawson!  Hudson asks a couple of times each day when Dawson will be home and it's always a big deal to go wait on him to get off of the bus.  They both get really excited to see it coming down the street.  I decided to video tape the arrival celebration and am so glad that I did!  Enjoy!!

Hudson is 4!

Our sweet little Hudson turned 4 today.  We spent the morning at home and then made a trip to the mall to pick up a cookie cake.  Hudson requested his favorite, "chips and cheese" so we ended up eating at El Chico for lunch.   My parents came over this afternoon and we ordered pizza for dinner, opened presents, played and ate cookie cake.  We let him pick something fun to do on Friday to celebrate his birthday and he picked bowling.  We decided last year that we were not going to do any big birthday parties this year and I'm so glad that we decided to do that!   Hudson had a fun day and loved playing with his new presents.  

Here's some random info about Hudson at 4:

-He can eat a lot!  He's small but gosh he can eat! 

-He loves sports and seems to catch on very easily.

-He loves to learn.

-He knows his alphabet and all of the sounds of each letter.

-He can read a lot of sight words.

-He can write his alphabet, upper and lower case.

-He's working on learning patterns.

-He loves puzzles, blocks and reading books.

-His favorite show is Team Umizoomi

-His favorite color is orange.

-His favorite food is chips and cheese.  

-He loves to cuddle!

We are so lucky to have such a sweet, funny little 4 year old!  He's always making us laugh!!

"I like my butt."

Proud mom moment:  I went to Back to School night last week and was walking around checking out all of the art work.   I found Dawson's page and had to do a double...or triple take of this.  It looks like it says, "I am special because I like my butt" but it says "butr" or brother.  ;)
