Sloane is 3 months old!

Sloane celebrated her 3 month birthday this week.  This is what she's up to at 3 months.
-You have outgrown all of your 0-3 month clothes and are wearing 3-6 months.  That's been a little challenging considering that all of your 3-6 month clothes are for the spring/summer and it's been cold recently.
-You eat every 3-4 hours during the day and still have one long stretch of about 7 hours at night.
-We tried giving you a bottle of pumped milk a few times and you did pretty good taking it.
-You are curious and like to be held where you can check out your surroundings.
-You are a happy little baby and you smile a lot!
-You love to have tummy time while laying on mommy or daddy.  You look up and "talk" to us.
-You love taking a bath.
-You have started to hold on to things....my hair, clothes, toys, etc.
-You are still sleeping in our room, but you frequently take naps upstairs in your crib.  You have started sleeping in your pack n play now instead of the Fisher Price Rock & play sleeper. You still use that for short little naps or when I'm getting ready.
We love you sweet girl!

Last weeks pics

I forgot to upload some of these pictures from last week.
Sloane needed some more orange and black clothes so my friend made her this cute onesie.
Geoff's birthday was on Friday and he took the day off.  We planned to go to the zoo that day, but it was cold!  We went out to breakfast at First Watch.  The kids are in love with their chocolate chip pancakes.  These pancakes are huge and they both clean their plate!  We also got a cookie cake, played around the house, and went to dinner.  So basically his birthday was centered around food. ;)
The boys had dentist appointments.  We still drive back to Stillwater to go to the dentist because we love him and his staff so much.  We were expecting severe storms that day so they quickly got our teeth cleaned so we could get back home.
Hudson didn't really participate in the teeth cleaning part this time, but we tried.  Better luck next time.
I don't think that Miss Sloane is missing any meals.  I just love her little fat rolls!

Music program

Dawson had his school music program this week.  It's always so fun to watch all of the songs that he has learned at school.  He did a great job standing up there on stage, singing and doing the arm motions.

Dawson and Charlie.  They will be sad not to be at the same school for kindergarten but look forward to many play dates!

Two of his sweet teachers!  He's had a great year with them!

They have a little paragraph in the program about each of the kids who will be "graduating" this year and moving on the kindergarten.  They pick the artwork from a few different kids to be on the cover of the program and Dawson was one of the kids selected to have his artwork on the cover.

I just adore this picture!!  This smile on Hudson's face just shows exactly how crazy he is about Dawson!!  The are best buds.

Taxi song

Both of the boys sing this taxi song in music class at school. It has became a favorite song of theirs and one that we hear daily.

The next Kevin Durant

Dawson asked for an outside basketball goal for his birthday.  Geoff picked it up this weekend and we decided to give him this present a little early. We do not have the ideal basketball court driveway, but we thought we would give it a try.  We live on a hill so balls frequently roll down the hill into the street. We also live beside a creek and balls are frequently bounced (or thrown) into that.  I'm glad that we decided to give it a try because the boys are in love with the basketball goal!    Dawson is actually really good and Hudson can also make some baskets!

Sloane is their cheerleader.

Geoff decided to play a little defense last night.  Listen to Hudson tell Geoff to sit down.

I took this video of Sloane the other night when it was close to a feeding time.  I think that she was trying to tell me to feed her.  ;)

tball pics

I remembered the camera (and battery) for Dawson's tball game last night.  Dawson had a great time playing and Hudson was perfect.  He stayed entertained watching Dawson, playing my iphone, eating snacks, and playing with Stella, our neighbor.

Check out the smile on his face.  He smiles when he runs.

Dawson made it to first base and then started doing this little Spider Man victory dance.  He looked at me and shot webs.  I'm glad that I had my camera and got this picture because I laugh every time that I look at it!

Dawson and Jake.  Jake lives a couple of houses down from us.

Last week

If you haven't picked up on this, I'm in love with hair bows and buying fun girl clothes.  It's been a fun change from having boys.  I think that this will be a good game day bow.
I just had to include this pic with her sweet smile.
My grandma (GG as the great grand kids call her) and two of my aunts came over this week to visit.  We had a great time visiting with them.

Love this pic and the way they are looking at each other!

videos and other random stuff

We were driving home from my parent's house and Hudson quickly fell asleep.  I turned around and saw Dawson holding his hand while he slept.  Melted my heart!   I got a new car last weekend to give us more room.  We bought one with a 2nd row bench instead of captain's seats and the boys can sit beside each other now.

Tummy time!  She's a strong little girl!

We gave Dawson one of our old digital cameras last year.  I looked through the pictures the other day and found this pic that he took of Hudson.   I just love his big blue eyes and long eyelashes!!  There is also another picture that I found on there but decided not to include on here.  I started back to the gym on Friday.  I came home and was in a hurry to feed Sloane and get in the shower so that we could go to lunch while Geoff had the day off.   I just took my shirt and sports bra off and fed Sloane in the living room without a shirt on.  Dawson had his camera out and I wasn't paying attention to what he was doing and he took a picture of us.  I had my arm over the boob that was out, the sun was shining behind us so we kind of have this glow behind us and I was looking at Sloane.  I ended up saving the picture.   I know that when my days of nursing are over, I will look back and treasure that memory.

And speaking of breastfeeding.  I am a cow this time around!  For my nursing moms who pump...12 back coke boxes work great for storage!

Here is a video of Miss Sloane.  She's such a happy little girl.  I took this video of her when she was laying on the floor kicking around while the boys colored.
The boys love to color on their dry erase boards.

Easter

Geoff's parents came over on Saturday and spent some time with us.  Dawson decided to go to a friend's birthday party that day so he missed the neighborhood egg hunt.  We took Hudson and Sloane and watched Hudson hunt eggs.  We went out to dinner and then we came home, dyed eggs, and I made a bunny cake to take to my parent's house on Sunday.  On Sunday we went to church and had lunch at my parents house.  It was a busy but fun weekend!
