Escaping it all

We had the best weekend camping in the Uintahs with the kids.  We went up by Marsh Lake.  This was our camp spot.  It was breathtaking.

Heavenly Father sure created a beautiful world for us to enjoy!

We couldn't have a fire because of the fire danger, so our Camp Chef became the smores cooker.  It didn't matter!  We enjoyed every tasty bite.

The next morning, we rode 4-wheelers all over the mountain.  Khloe liked going fast with Daddy.

Then it was time to throw some rocks in the lake while on our hike.  Skipping rocks still makes me and Davy happy.

We had a great time away from everything.  What a great new chapter we have entered.  Can't wait to keep making fun memories as the kids get bigger!

Strawberry Days Rodeo

This year, we attempted the rodeo again and had much better luck!  We made it from start to finish and the kids loved it!  Here's my sweetest cowgirl!

The McArthur men sure make handsome cowboys.

So glad Mom and Brent went early to save seats for everyone.

We had a great time.  Porter loved the bulls and the motorcycle riders:)  The wild cow milking was out of control.  We can't erase the picture of the two cows knocking each other out.  It was crazy, but so fun to be surrounded by so many familiar Pleasant Grove faces.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the most amazing dad I know.  My kids are so lucky to have him as their daddy!  We love you so much Davy and hope you know that always!

Porter and Khloe are definitely Jeep kids!

Enjoying Summer

We enjoyed a great date night out to J-dawgs and Farr's.  It doesn't matter where we go or what we do as long as we are together.

Thanks to Grammy and Papa for watching our little crazies.  They are so much fun.

Coach Pitch Begins

Porter has been so excited to play coach pitch this summer.  He is a great little player and has got hits in all of his games, but the last one.  One night he had 3 hits.  We are so proud of him and glad he has found a sport he really enjoys.

Davy likes to call himself Coach Butt-in-ski, as he just joins in whether he is the coach or not.  He always gets the second coaching shirt:)

Getting his first hit.

For his birthday, we got him decked out from head to toe.  He was over the moon excited to put it all on for his game.

It is so much fun to start this new chapter!  Gotta love baseball!  Take me out to the ballgame.

Done with Kindergarten

Porter finished his Kindergarten year with a bang.  Here he is at the Dance Festival.  He sure made a cute fish to "Under the Sea".  Yes, both Khloe and Porter had the same dance song.

Here he is at Kindergarten graduation.  What a day for me!  I couldn't believe how fast the year passed.  He is so much bigger than the first day of Kindergarten.

Here he is saying his part.  He did a perfect job!

Mrs. Peck was his sub while Mrs. Lee had her baby.  We love Mrs. Peck and are so grateful she was Porter's teacher for a time.

Porter LOVED Mrs. Lee.  He so enjoyed Kindergarten because of her.  She was such a special teacher and helped Porter shine!

We love you so much Porter!!  You are such a joy and the best kid a parent could ask for.  Bring on 1st Grade!
