6mo.... Already?!
When we told Gavin he was 6 months old on Sunday, this was his reaction:
He then became speechless.
When the idea had set in that he was getting old, we asked him how he felt about turning 6 months old. This is what he said:
To make Gavin feel better about becoming an old geezer, we made cupcakes and took him to see his friend, Christian. Needless to say, his spirits were lifted.
But then, the Evil Bath Monster (aka "Mommy") attacked.
After a furious water battle, Gavin conquered the Bath Monster with a large grin.
To document his victory, we tried to take a picture with the number 6 right before dinner. Poor Gavin, he's getting so senile in his old age, he thought the number 6 was dinner and tried to eat it.
Happy 6 month birthday Gavin!
Gavin's 6 Month Stats
5-6 meals a day
10 hours of sleep a night
15 lbs. 2 oz. in weight
26.5" in height
1800 diapers and counting
2200 pictures (before Gavin, it took us 2 years for the first 1k)

Mother's Day, Bike Ride, and Chocolate Fest '09
I know, I'm a slacker. I'm just finally getting around to posting. With Crystal and Davis home now, I seem to have less time. But I am enjoying spending time with each of them. (Crstyal is still looking for a job, so if any of you know any one that is hiring around here, let me know. Thanks!!)
I had a fabulous Mother's Day. Davis told me it was my first official Mother's Day with a baby on the outside of me. Anyways, official or unoffical, I had a great day. First Davis made breakfast; complete with pancakes, raspberry/blueberry syrup, hash browns, bacon, and oj.
Davis then made Chicken Cordon Bleu and cheesecake for dinner.
Here's my cute family on Mother's Day.
On Wednesday, we went for a bike ride. (We finally got both bikes fixed. I hope another rim or spoke doesn't break for a long time!!) This is Gavin at the start of the bike ride. (and yes, that is our lovely green lawn in the background, which Davis is quite proud of. It is quite a feat to grow grass in Brandermill!)
Gavin enjoyed looking out at everything.
But by the end, he was exhausted and fell asleep.
A couple weeks ago, Davis wanted to celebrate after taking his last test for the semester and so we had our first Annual Chocolate Fest. Crystal made Oreo Truffles and the Thomas's brought a divine chocolate cake. Chocolate was enjoyed by all {except me, I had Stawberry Shortcake.}
Here are my fav Gavin pics of the week.
This is Gavin's "I'm full" face.
Gavin has started smacking things. This is Gavin giving Davis high fives.

Our House
Okay, so this reminds me of an old song that goes, "Our house, in the middle of the street, our house...." AnYwaYs, this is the long awaited tour of our house. {drum roll please}
We will start with the first floor.
This is the front room and the front door. (Gavin is playing Vanna White.)
The other side of the front room. The french doors lead out to our deck.

National Scrapping Day
Some of you (namely Charisse) may know that yesterday was National Scrapbooking Day. To celebrate, I woke up at 7:15am and worked on a page of Davis and I. And then, Crystal, Charisse, and I hit Memories Galore later that afternoon for some good deals and a free make n take. It was a blast!
I started uploading pics of our home and realized I had was missing several rooms. So I'll take pics and post the home tour tomorrow.
Crystal arrived on Wednesday.... at 9:18am..... instead of 9:18pm!! {There was a little mix up on flight times. Good thing we got it straightened out ahead of time!} We have really enjoyed having Crystal around. She has been very helpful.
Gavin has found his toes and feet and loves to grab them. He also loves to grab and yank on my hair. He even tried (unsuccessfully) to pull on Davis's goatee. Gavin loves to grab things and put them immediately in his mouth. (and then drool ALL over them)
He's our little hunk.
