Dave and I had talked about getting married for a few months. However I didn't know when he was going to propose. I had started planning a few things of the wedding. On saturday June 22nd Dave and I went to REI to do some shopping, he was acting a little strange. We went back to my house to get ready to go to my nephew's birthday party. Dave wasn't saying anything and I asked him if he was ok. He came up to me and gave me a hug and then dropped down to one knee and held out a ring. I was so excited I don't remember what he said, besides "will you marry me". My answer was of course "yes" but I was so excited I added a word before it that explained my excitement - heck yes!
