Thanksgiving Reflections...

So it has been a VERY long time since I posted. I don't even know if anyone reads this anymore. But the Thanksgiving day got me thinking about what I was thankful about.

One thing that I am thankful for kind of comes from starting up this blog.
I initially started typing on this blog just to get some thoughts out...
I didn't know how many people would read my thoughts.

Even more surprising is that I didn't realize that someone would stumble on my blog...
Someone who I started talking to because of a comment she left on this blog...
Someone who I am very thankful for in my life right now...

We started talking because she wanted to learn how to change tires...since my display picture is of me changing tires...
That went on to chatting with each other on MSN...and an invite to Colluni fellowship
It was interesting how it was so easy to talk with her... interesting how it was so difficult to end the conversation... I was never THIS comfortable with someone before...

Through those couple of weeks months... our friendship grew... and it was clear that we liked each other...

Our 'relationship' started with a stuffed banana in the front seat of my Matrix as a surprise...and me asking her to be my girlfriend...

It has now been 4.5 years later...

We shared many good times...some difficult times and fights...
Through those years...
We grew closer with each other more and more
We grew as individual people and got strong with each other's help
We grew in our relationship with God

Through these years...and for a while now... I know that I love you (Miss / seafish / sweetpea / 'Viv').
I am very thankful for you...

Hope that you are thankful too...
Maybe the start of something 'new' will come soon...=)

School is back.

Summer was a pretty amazing time. Worked in a job not really related to Engineering but it was a very good experience. It is tiring but I am glad that the people around the workplace greatly valued what I did there.

Why am I updating again? I figure that with school, I will be spending a lot more time on the computer (not by choice).

So...who knows...I might be posting more.

Alright...so I took this picture today with my car...haha it's one of the only ones I have...and I personally think it looks pretty good..haha....as all the people I've been with know...I think it looks soo cool =P....some people probably don't agree...but ohhh well hahah

Summer is here...

Hmm....
I haven't put anything up here for a while. Well one reason is that I have been studying for exams for the last two weeks and I didn't really find the time to post anything up...haha

So let's see...A quick update...
Exams...5 exams done...solids and differential equations were the hardest exams...I am really hoping that I passed those courses.
As for the other exams...they weren't as bad as the first two....at least on those, I could come up with an answer...sigh...

But...exams are done and I have one week off before I start my summer job.
So I gave in my two week's notice to Famous Players...It kinda sucks because of all the friends that I won't be seeing again... but then again..I can't stay there forever...it's been an interesting 11 months and I've learned so much there

And the picture!!...okay..this is my dirty engine bay...I need to find a way to clean it....as well as cleaning the rest of my car..I have to clean it before I get going to work again...I need to wax the car and get rid of the scratches...or just protect the car against them...

And most of you will probably not notice what's so special about what you see...
I'm not gonna tell you guys...if you can tell..then just tell me what you see...HAHA...but I did do something to the car...that I've been wanting to do for a long time... =P

Today's sermon was really good. I am pretty thankful that the speaker was willing to share such a story with the whole congregation. From today, we just learned about the stones in our hearts. And one thing was to cast all our burdens to God...

Cast...to cast...not only to throw...but throw away as far as possible.
And the quote that just stayed with me...was the quote "The God behind me is bigger than anything in front of me" from Darrell Gould.....interesting...

As my exam is tommorow..I'm glad that TTC will not strike tommorow and I can get to school normally. I have to study so hard for tommorow's exam and the one to come on Wednesday...and what am I doing? Leaving a quick post...haha I'm getting good at these posts..I can finish one in less than 5 minutes...

What else what else in the day....oh yeah....us guys are still keeping score at how many laughs we can get...I'm up to 3 but Gordo is leading with 5....and the guys...are just making too many "car" jokes and me and my "car" haha...man...it's funny I guess...we just gotta be careful who we joke in front of...

Weather was sooo nice today...I can't wait to get my winter tires off...I gave up and got together a group tire change this Saturday...I hope it works out..haha...and what else? Played half an hour of basketball.... and drove home with the windows rolled down =)

It's funny...my mom says I look thinner...that's funny...maybe it's because of all the good meals and less food lately....and some basketball...and what not..but who knows..maybe it's cuz I'm already starting to get tan from the sun? hahaha...I look more tired and thin when tan haha...I don't tan THAT easily do I? With the windows rolled down..I noticed that the sun was shining a lot on my arms and hands..I thought about sunscreen...but I don't have any..haha

Study Party At Mo's

Well....

After my last blog....I tried to get some work done....but really couldn't haha...
I finally ate some food because I decided to skip lunch so I could study harder at the library and not lose my spot haha...

Well... I ate a good amount and then tried to rest a little bit before starting to work again.

Right when I got to my room to work...I couldn't help turning on the computer....I'm just glad that I started to talk with Monty....because he decided to get some of the guys together to study... I was glad...I had to get away from the computer...I couldn't stop thinking...or I couldn't focus....Monty summed it up soo well...haha

When I got to his house...he said that he usually ends up just surfing the same sites again and again....that's what happened to me...I don't know how much I checked my emails...just to see if anyone sent me an email....

Well....ONE DAY has passed...I'm soo looking forward to Wednesday when two of my hardest exams are done...

The study was okay. I got some work done. We probably weren't too productive. We started to keep score who could get the most laughs from the other guys...I think the final score was Me 2, Gordo 2, Monty 2, Martin 0 (that's what you get for flashing your muscle shirt)

Not much work got done...but in ways...helped my mind to wander less? I don't know..haha

Got home pretty late.....hoping to sleep well..wake up for church and spend another day studying =/

I already want exams to end..haha

Hmmm.....

Today I went to Angus Glen to study. Got there at 10:15 and left at around 4:45. I got some studying done...but it felt like such a big struggle to sit down and concentrate.

The library was very cold for some reason. I wore my jacket and I was still pretty cold. I have no idea why but when I left the library I felt much warmer. During the studying time, I got quite a bit done...but yes...I couldn't concentrate. I kept thinking to other things other than exams...I was pretty tired too...woke up early but I couldn't get back to sleep...haha

So....my first exam is on Monday...I hope I'm ready. It's weird...it feels like I'm at the point where I just want to pass and get it over with. However, I need to keep motivated to do the best I can...

I want exams to end...why? Just to get out of school and relax. The weather was soooo nice but I couldn't go outside, or wash my car or relax...haha...after the library I cruised around for 10 extra minutes with the windows rolled down just to enjoy the weather...

Haha...I don't know where I'm getting with this post...just kinda losing it...oh well...back to studying...hopefully I can have the motivation and the focus to study.

It's Been a While

It's been a little over a week since I last left my really LONG blog....

Haha and since then...I never found the time to blog or found anything that I really wanted to share....sooo I really don't know. I haven't written a lot this week but it seems like a lot has happened.

Hmm.....well waiting on the ONLY job interview/chance I have...let's see how that goes...

Found out some pretty good news...HAHA...I'll leave it at that...

Acura Vigor came in...that car is such a monster...so big, loud, and powerful!!
But...both the Vigor and Mazda have been acting up..it's like they're taking turns at the mechanic....

All problem sets and projects are done...it's EXAM time...

Exam time....it's gonna be exciting and scary at the same time...and not only because of school....Let's see how this goes...I hope all the stuff during exams goes well....and after....the results will be amazing...

OH yeah....installing stuff on my car after exams..I hope my progress bar comes in on time..
