Its a beautiful day!

It is currently in the low 60's in Northern Virgina and it feels, oh so, nice. We have our patio door open and we are wearing our short sleeve shirts. Of course, it is just a tease and not a complete change in weather but it is nice to have. Also, Dave finally shaved is beard off today!! I have been waiting for this day patiently, especially the past week or so. We had some fun with all of his facial hair during the shaving off process. We got to see the look of a clean beard, a goatee, a handle bar mustache and a creepy creepy mustache ( he threatened me with keeping that one). Oh, and a Hitler looking stache that he decided to color with my mascara. Now I have my clean shaven Dave and I am happy about that! The last picture is of my recently purchased throw pillows for my bed. Dave is not a fan of the bird pillow..but I won that decorating battle!
Another thing is that I have been craving cookies lately and have been making all kinds. I don's know how long it has been since any of you have had snicker-doodles, but if it has been awhile..or if not..I suggest making them soon. They are amazing!

Today I made my first flower arrangement. I have been wanting something for my dinning room table for awhile now and today decided to just get it done. I was at Micheals this week and saw the shades of green that I wanted, so I immediatley called my mom and made a date with her to make it. My mom is pretty creative...something that I wasnt blessed with..so I knew her help and advice would be desperatley needed! We walked around the store picking flowers that we liked and then added up how much it would cost and my jaw dropped...there was no way I was going to pay that price. So we went for a second round (paying attention to price that time) and kncoked off $25 dollars. How crazy is that? I cant believe people would ever pay that much for an arrangement....ugh! So here is the final product. I am pretty excited about it!
