Preece/Mann annual vacation - part 2

Anya and I took the 3 kids to see her friends' longhorns! (They had been de-horned) The kids had fun brushing them but no one was brave enough to sit on them.

Alex and I got to go visit my great Aunt Lindy who is actually in the Preece's ward!

We got to go to a Texans game! 

and to the Dallas Temple. 

Preece/Mann annual vacation - part 1

For 5 years now we have gone on vacation with our dear friends Anya and Coray Preece. We started out with the Florida Keys and then SC. Next when Anya and I were expecting we babymoon'd (is that a word?) to Mexico. Then we took the kiddos back to SC and then headed to the Preece home in Dallas this year. Now we are 4 adults and 3 kids. 

Anya was hard at work by day in dental school but still managed to show us the town in the evening! Dave and Coray enjoyed lots of golf, we went to a Rangers baseball game, celebrated Alex's 2nd Birthday, went to the Dallas Temple, shopped and ate lots of yummy food!

Anya made us a gourmet breakfast in her gourmet kitchen on Sunday before church. Laney and Alex.

Back on labor day we had a family outing to the Bingham Canyon Mine. Alex loved the massive dump trucks, Dave loved the museum, and I just loved some time away with my two main men! It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine so we got some fun pictures too.

Morning at the Zoo

Alex and I got to go to the Zoo with our friends Tricia and Ryan. We had a blast. This was Alex's first zoo experience with the exception of Zoo lights last Christmas. Here are some of the highlights.

*According to Alex I have a "tail", a pony tail that is

*Alex asks to sing "punk rock" before going to bed which means "upon the Rock" from "The wise man built his house upon the rock..."

*Alex is sooo polite and always says, "Gank you mommy".
