Josh at Two Months

Josh had his 2 month check-up on Friday, he is growing up so fast.   He is 23.5 inches long (75%) and 11 pounds (25-50%).
Josh doesn't mind tummy time and is starting to hold his head up really well.  He gets really excited when he holds his head up and coos like crazy, it is so cute!

I love this picture of my sleepy boys.  Josh is kind of a Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde in the morning, he is either the sweetest little baby with darling smiles or he is a bit ornery.  He is plenty cute either way!  :)

Josh with Dave, these two are great buddies.  The moment Dave gets home from school he wants to play with and hold Josh.

Josh in his Sunday Best...this is the boatneck sweater I knit for him.  I love the color on him!

My boys in their driver's caps!  So handsome!

Josh has rolled from his stomach to his back 4 times now; when told that Josh had rolled already his pediatrician said to Josh, "Don't be in such a hurry to grow up!"  :)  Dave and I couldn't agree more, we are loving our time with our sweet baby!

Having a Grand Time

Josh has officially met all of his grandparents! Mom Choules came for a weeklong visit at the beginning of October. It was nice to spend so much time together talking and enjoying Josh.

My parents were in town last week for a visit, they first went to see my brother and his family in Massachusetts and then came to spend some time with us!
While Dave was at school, my parents, Josh, and I went to Mystic. My parents treated us to lunch at S&P Oyster, I love their food and the beautiful view from the restaurant!

It was Josh's first time in a restaurant and he was so good. He sat sweetly in his car seat for a good part of our time there; when he started to get squirmy, I held him over my shoulder and he was content for the remainder of our lunch! I'm so proud of him!

After lunch we got dessert at the Mystic Sweets & Ice Cream Shoppe...

...we each had one of these amazing chocolate truffles. I had a caramel one, it was divine! We then went on a scenic drive which was so beautiful (any New Haveners that are going to be here next Autumn should put this drive on their list of things-to-do). After the drive we went back to the Sweet Shoppe to get a little more chocolate before heading back to New Haven! :)

Josh was pretty tired after our day in Mystic! He looks so peaceful. I love that darling little face so much!

On Saturday Dave, Josh, and I drove up to Boston to attend the temple. It was such a treat to see this fantastic sunset from the temple! The picture is of the LDS Stake Center by the temple. After the temple we stayed overnight with Ben and Jenn. While we were at Ben and Jenn's, Josh rolled for his first time from his stomach to his back!! We stayed up really late talking with Ben and Jenn, thankfully Daylight Saving gave us an extra hour of sleep!

On Sunday we attended my older brother's ward. After church my nephew was baptized, we are so proud of him! I love these pictures of Mom, Dad, and Josh at the church after the baptism (if only I hadn't cut off so much of Dad's face in this picture!!).

This picture is my favorite.

Josh is lucky to have four wonderful grandparents who love him so much. I'm glad that Josh has been able to meet them all!
