Alisha says: I had the opportunity to tag along with a group of friends headed to Rocky Point for a rare kid less, husband less few days. It was incredible weather and we spent the days lounging by the pool, sitting on the beach, swimming in the ocean, looking for shells and hermit crabs and laughing a lot.

Park City - Round 2
Alisha says: With covid still spreading, Dave working from home, and Arizona still being a furnace we decided to go shelter in one of our favorite places for the month of September. We stayed in an awesome condo in Deer Valley by the duck ponds so the kids had lots of open places to go walking, ride scooters/bikes, swim and paddle board (until it got too cold) and ride the ski lift and funicular. Dave and I set up some great babysitting and were able to do lots of amazing mounting bike rides together. It was so fun to experience fall in the mountains and see the leaves change colors on the trees. My favorite was mountain biking through the "tree tunnels" of amazing colors out on the trails.
We had some AZ friends stay with us for a few days so we hiked to blood lake.
The kids playing in the pool at the condo. It was actually really cold water and Jade was the only one who really got in. They did spend time in the two hot tubs though.
Jade relaxing
I love that smile! We spent lots of time playing at the small beach at the duck ponds
Some of our AZ friends recently moved to Salt Lake so we met up with them for a few rides. Here we are on one of my very favorites, Wasatch Crest!
The kids loved to ride the ski lift. I would drop them off at Silver Lake and then they would ride the lift down to deer valley and walk back to the condo. Face masks were required when loading/unloading.
For the most part we had great weather but we did have a few cold days and this early season snow storm. The girls thought it was fun to play in the snow.
Grocery shopping with our masks on.
So cute! They do a lot of fighting but they've got each other and they do love each other.
The leaves are starting to change.
