Back Home Soon.
I know I'm happy because I'm going home soon.
I know I'm anxious because I'm going home soon.
I know I'm lost because I'm going home soon.
I know You and you and you you you you are happy because I'm going home soon.
I know she knows that I'm happy because I'm going back home soon...
I know he knows that I'm happy because I'm going back home soon...soon...
I think you know that I'm happy because I'm going back home soon...real soon. (:

The Life of a Chick
My Dear Chick
I bought this chick on my way home. Before that I have never kept a chick as my pet. This chick seemed so cute among the other chickens. I found I could communicate with him through his black eyes and I guess he was very young because he didn’t have any feathers on his puny wings. So I decided to bring him home.
I used a box to make a comfortable nest for him as soon as I arrived at home. Besides, I put several pieces of paper at the bottom of the box to make his home cozy. I could tell from his face that he liked his new nest very much. And then I began to prepare dinner for him. First, I just scattered some raw rice in front of him. But then I realized my chick was too young to eat rice. His stomach couldn’t digest dry rice. So I fed him with millet instead. My chick still had problem eating. The millet was too hard and dry. So I soaked the millet in a bowl of water for a while. After that, I fed him with soaked millet. This time he began to wolf down the millet.
In our community, I saw many people walking with their dogs after dinner. So I decided to have a walk with my chick. --> (Your "hot chick"??) But I was afraid my chick couldn’t follow my step or would run away when we were walking, so I tied a thread on his ankle. --> (Where is a chick's ankle?) At first he couldn’t adapt to my steps. It looks like that I was dragging him. And he even didn’t have a sense of direction because he also went the opposite direction. But I thought it was quite interesting, just like a mother walking with her toddler.
As time went by, we began to get along with each other very well. Every time I went home, he was always very excited and made a lot of noise. And I began to acquaint myself with his eating habit. I would feed him with watermelon after his dinner as fruit, and cabbage or grass as vegetables, and nuts as snack. Sometimes when I took him out, he could catch worms by himself. --> (So the author began eating what his chick ate? Including catching worms himself when he goes out??) What’s more, there was no need to tie his ankle when we were out walking because he recognized me and would follow me wherever I went.
He grew up strong and sturdy gradually. He could eat dry millet and then cooked rice --> (You mean the chick knew how to cook rice?!) and then raw rice. When I found the first feather on his wing, only God knew how happy and proud I was. You may want to know how is my chick now and where is he? Is he as strong as the chick in the market? --> (How do you know chicks in market are strong??) I’m sorry to tell you he had a tragic fate.
At dusk, I took him for a walk as usual. He walked behind me. Suddenly, I heard my chick scream. --> (How does the scream of a chick sounds like?! I want to know!) I turned round immediately, seeing the cruelest scene in my time. A cat caught my chick and the cat swallowed him down in a flash. --> (I thought your chick was strong and sturdy??) Before I was conscious of what had happened, the evil cat ran away. When I realized I had to catch that cat, the cat had already vanished from my sight.
I felt sorrow and empty when I went home alone. Standing in front of his empty home, tears welled up in my eyes.
From then on, I have never raised a chick any more. --> (Good!)
