die, tomorrow's start of the exam. i still don't have to motivation to study. but luckily, im only basically left with ihc and physics. for other subjects, im so drilled by that many exercises by the teachers (esp math) that i can already do the papers now without studying, but i must still study last minute to make sure i dont forget anything.

i just took a listen to britney' spears new single "3" for her upcoming singles collection. it's an electropop song, even more electropop than womanizer, with a lot more transforming done to her voice and adding a little fuzz to the song. its not as catchy as womanizer but is not bad. but this song is too electrofuzz, maybe should tone down a little and not make it so fuzzy. it's not gonna be a hot 100 no.1 hit, but still manages well for a single.

seriously, does mariah carey have a life? the whole album is nearly filled with the same songs, that she has been singing since the start of her career. sing a ballad, sing a ballad. the album's starting to bore me at track 3. and i think the best song in this album is "angel (the prelude)". why? because the whole song is just whistling and very little singing. but i capped it at 4 because she's been whistling for the 294023304 time, and also quite a lot of times in this album. like i have repeated, she is so repetitive. why do i have to repeat? because she repeats the same stuff. anyway her singing's not as good as last time, it seems even worse than in 2005. time to reinvent yourself, unless you want to go back into an asylum again. im not against her going back to her past, but at least sound better than before? put in more effort, mariah, and stop putting out albums for the sake of putting out, or for the sake of earning more money because you know people wouldn't want to hear you sing at a concert anymore. this album is truly imperfect as it's name suggests.
celebration cd is now available in singapore, the first asian market to release it. but i shall be waiting for the release of the celebration dvd, with 47 madonna music videos packed in it. if it's not too expensive, i'll buy it. actually i should be hoping it passes the censorship board first. please pass. please pass. hopefully "justify my love" and "erotica" didn't make it fail.
anyway the new song in celebration cd, "revolver" is so nice (at least to me) i immediately placed it at no.6 on my itunes playlist. the only other song that started higher was "4 minutes" at no.3. i liked it better than "celebration".
