135. rush or respect?
great point brought up about queue cutters during assembly.
i hate queue cutters. it will waste my time queueing up. the only stall i dont mind about queue cutters is the noodle stall.
i resolve to go up and scold the queue cutter and then walk away when i see one the next time.
anyway, i think that we should and should not let the teacher cut queue. well we should, maybe because of respect.
but then the teachers must have had at least one, if not more periods than us to be able to come down to the canteen. and since we only have 1 miserable period, as compared to their either equal or more time than us, we should not allow the teachers to cut queue.
and i have a hypothetical question. what if 100+ teachers decide to flock down to the canteen all at once?
but since it's the school command, i have no choice but to follow. so the teachers will continue being the queen of queues.
also, why would they set up a bubble tea shop in hci. if we want bubble tea, we might as well ask the drink stall uncle to learn to make it. if we bring in bubble tea franchise, the canteen vendors would earn even lesser than they can now.
and if we have bubble tea, we will have more crap coming up next time. maybe someday a LAN shop, mcdonalds or a hypermarket will appear here. luckily ching hun's lame idea of 7-eleven wasn't accepted. now most of us know that 7-eleven items are a lot more costlier than fairprice stuff.

134. gah / dang: i screw up chem spa
i cant find any word to describe my awe in screwing up chem spa but "dang" or "gah".
but never im sure most of the class wouldn't get the correct observations anyway. i filtered a mixture and forgot to wash the residue with deionised water. so when i added barium nitrate, i got a white ppt instead of a colourless solution. thats a scam because the residue doesnt have anything to do with the conclusion.
and also i didn't test for the gas given off. i saw the passing tube or whatever you called that but i didn't see there's limewater, which was written as calcium hydroxide in the basket in front of me. that's a scam too cause they would label as limewater during practicals, and the sudden change would be disturbing and unnoticeable. but then i guessed it's carbonate anion because there is no pungent smell given off after effervesence.
but someone told me that the top of the paper wrote to deduce all ions present. and then the bottom of the page says to deduce the identity of the anion and the possible cations in the filtrate and asked for explanations. so after the spa i wondered if do we write all the ions or just for the filtrate.
im also not sure if i deduced the right cations because i did the conclusion in a hurry. anyway the main point is im so screwed for chem spa, and physics spa would probably not be that good either.
and mrs seck asked me to filter the mixture for her to see. so i took up the boiling tube and the stirring rod and decanted it for her to see. she still remembers that during a practical, i once poured the mixture into the filter funnel without the stirring rod, lol.
133. dumbest math tactic
today i recall the dumbest math tactics i ever used to use.
1. the number of numbers from 0000 to 9999.
i remember the exam paper in primary school ask this kind of questions, and im so dumb i can't do it. then i devise the funniest way in my life. i use 4d to remember. 4d as in the gambling one. i remember it has 10000 numbers because in 4d has numbers from 0000 to 9999, and in chinese it is called 万字票. from the first word, it already tells you that there are 10000 numbers from 0000 to 9999. thats the lamest thing ive ever devised to help me remember.
2. special angles for trigonometry.
thanks to harily chua for teaching me this, or i will never go and memorise the special angles.
i also remember those times when i fell ill, mostly dominated by allergies and rashes. i got used to it that i only used calamine lotion instead of visiting doctors to waste my money.
the minority times i got ill was accompanied by 2 times nose bleed, 2 times vomit, 4 headaches, a few fevers, and countless flus.

132. give it 2 me a 1/2 day off
yay, there's finally a half day off, don't need to go for ep3. this is so good.
indeed, simple words can make you sound intelligent because people are constantly trying to decorate their words and phrases. being simple will then make you outstanding instead.
such as, instead of scolding f*** or basket or any vulgarities, just put it simply "this is no good", or a "this is unacceptable". and instead of saying "can you shut your bloody trap up", you can just say "keep quiet". this is very good. mrs chan taught me that simplicity can be elegant too.
and this will in turn bring me happiness, which is definetely not built upon hugging people, destroying other people's property, or going up to random people saying lets go.
therefore we must all think pure, dont think of using vulgarities everyday. and dont complain that teachers scold you too much or it will result in an undesirable political situation.
teachers scold you not for you to use your
hp to sms to another teacher that the teacher scold you too much, but people like curly just wont get it. just accept their scolding. they scold you got reason one what. you don't give them face color to see ok. this is unacceptable.
teachers scold us for reasons too and in the future you will realise that that is very good. for example teocc, she scolds a lot when we are in sec 1 but then in the future you will realise she is a good teacher. and esther, despite admitting to have a middle name of "tyrant", is an amiable person. the fierce teachers have their kind side too, and the kind teachers have their fierce side too. and then maybe there might be teachers with no backside of whatever side,

131. racial harmony day
racial harmony day was fun.
i went to the 'che ling sabbatical'. che ling in english is called diabolo. it's quite fun.
and then i went to the racial harmony day bazaar in the hall. there's not a lot of stalls though, and i bought the $10 coupon. first i walked around and saw yaphb's grass jelly drink stall. feeling thirsty i bought a cup. they gave a lot and i thought it was worth the money. i was wrong. the grass jelly drink is like no taste. its like they put grass jelly inside water. not sweet one.
and then teomh pulled me to buy the sotong balls. but being allergic to seafood, i declined, thinking she would stop, but instead she pulled me to the stall to buy chicken dumpling. i got away however. and then all the time mrs chan will be there walking around telling aphelion students to buy food from the aphelion stalls.
then ms pek pulled me to her stall to buy snacks, which then i told her i saw her and ms yvonne loi in chinatown and she said she shopped for those snacks there. so i bought the peanut thing, 3 for $1 and she threw in a free one for me.
also i bought an ice ball, with flavouring which melts to look like mud and shit. i couldn't really figure how to eat it and threw it away in the end.
then wanting to take a seat, i went to leewc's stall at the proed side and agreed to take over limcc's place, and then i ended up doing it for the rest of the time until physics retest. i have $4 worth of coupons left at that time, so i slot it into their coupon collection box.

let me attempt to clear up the mess of the retarded picture of me on cao's blog.
as you can or cannot see, my head was lying on the top of the chair, and xujun decided to take my picture with his handphone. therefore since my head was facing down, my eyes have to turn up so that he can take a picture without it looking like a random shot.
so naturally i look more retarded in that picture as compared to the one i have on my blog (the top right hand corner).
i would probably look nicer when sleeping on a bus cause edwin liang did that too, so i won't be the outstanding one.

128. pathetic marks
godamnit, i screwed up all 3 tests. my chem got c6 due to 10 marks of carelessness and confusion. my maths got 6 marks of careless mistakes although i still get an a1. actually it was 32.5/40, but i spotted a marking error which involves 2 marks. i solved a trigo identity from right to left and she thought i was doing from left to right. so i get back 2 marks. but i am such an honest person i told her about the mistake i spotted. i put (tanx+cotx) as (tanx-cotx). i wonder if she will not care or deduct 1/2 a mark.
and the physics is the most rigged of all. it's RIGGED!!!
why would there be a mark given for writing "hence, more energy is required to raise the temperature of water to the boiling point to boil away the water."
and then why they don't increase the marks for explaining which material the light travels fastest in. i explained that it has the lowest density, and yaps say don't need to tell me that cause i know, and then other teachers always say you must tell me everything, you don't expect me to know your explanation like that right. physics test eat shit.
and then i still think alcohol is better than water for removing

today i bought a pair of shoes. then i got home. my mother saw the shoes and told me it's the same pattern as my brother's shoe. so weird. i can't believe i bought the same shoe as he did. guess i never really noticed what he wears.
recently, i can't really find anymore new and good music to listen to. it's so sad. im trying and trying to search for new favourite songs but it's so difficult. none of it which i like. guess im stuck to ray of light.

somehow i feel happy when i scold people or when im arguing with someone loudly. if only every morning in school someone could provoke me, then i would be energetic all day. and then i will be long life datf. that would be a wonderful start to my day.

the maths test was rather well done, just that i probably lost 1 mark or so from the graph question and another few 1/2 marks from inaccurate answers. and then someone haven't taken the test and in the end, all our test results are delayed.

i saw the worst color that a car could ever have two days before the day after tomorrow. it was a yellow color that was even more disgusting than that of the citycab color. and at near the bottom, there was a purple strip which adds to the disgust. good thing that car was being towed away. who know what others might do to it.
it's youth day three days after the day before yesterday and there's nothing happy about it. but at least i can replenish my lost sleep.
and then it's projects' day the day before the day after the day after tomorrow. oh great, the website is mostly completed and i've decided to use the website to present instead so that i could make clarence's effort in doing the powerpoint go down to waste. not like he did anything anyway, he only changed the background of the prelims powerpoint.
and then two days before the day after the day after the day after the day after tomorrow is the maths trigo test. im quite happy about it because im sure i could get an a1.
i could still remember my classmate in primary 6 writing a journal about watching the movie "the day before tomorrow", which is in short, today, when it was supposed to be "the day after tomorrow".
122. after effects of holidays
one of the biggest after effects of holidays is the large pile of undone homework that the teacher would chase you for. and then there will be more piles of homework waiting for you to complete but then you're just too slack to do so.

- ihc essay and powerpoint

and then i am trying to get my work done every night, and there will always be motorcycle roaring and roaring damn loudly. i've heard it 4 ultra loud blarings tonight, and i had to cover my ears because i fear very loud noises. for god's sake, i live on the 10th floor and the main road is more than 500m away from my block, and i could still very very loudly hear the stupid motorcycles.
anyway what's wrong with the motorcyclists, they can get deaf using the motorcycle for a long time. can't they install some equipments to silence it. and drive at night for what, go home and sleep lah. don't waste your time working so late or drinking or whatever. go home and sleep, don't disturb me or wake me up with that damn sound.
anyway im so wrecked after trying to complete all my work and im so tired...
