The event will kick start with a Green walk. Participants will come in green and be given a bib / tag to allow them to write their pledge and carry with them during the walk which leads them to Causeway Point. Over at Causeway Point, there will be an array of activities including DIY corner, coin deposit machine, pledge corner and some recycled arts and of course, stage performances.
I also wish to encourage you to help out in the organizing of the walk and the roadshow.

As one of the premier schools in the North West Constituency, it is logical and meaningful for our consortium to show support in a big way for the upcoming Green Festival organised by NW CDC. We are looking at rallying 300 students to take part in the Green Walk and another 30 students to help the organiser with road marshall duties.

Dear Students Thank you for your participation and support in the last two rounds of “Records Challenge 奔向健力士”. We’re proud to set new records for the past 2 events and have successfully entered the Semi-Finals, which will be held on Saturday,12 July 2008.
For this important round, we are tasked to collect 8,500 used canned drinks to form a gigantic Singapore Flag! We are challenged to break the record, set by ITE College West in 2006, whereby a total of 8,470 of used canned drinks were collected!
Objectives of participating in this event as a school 1)Break the record set by ITE College West (8,470 used cans) in 2006 2)To paint all the used cans to form a gigantic Singapore Flag and present this to our country as part of the National Day Celebrations; this event will be telecast on Channel 8 during the National Day period.
Participation as a school 1)Everyone can play a part! Since we are expected to collect more than 8,500 used canned drinks, I would like to urge every student to collect 5 used canned drinks. Please wash and dry the used cans before passing them to the class Chairman.
2)Class Chairman a)Please put all the cans into trash bags and keep them in the class. b)Please record the number of cans collected by each student. Submit the list to the councilors who will be going to your classes to collect the bags and the name list during next Monday’s (30 June) reading period.

i have to thank everyone in for their support and participation of “Records Challenge 奔向健力士” although i know you have nothing to do with this. anyway, we got into the semi-finals.
for this round we have to collect 8500 cans to make a singapore flag.
objectives of participating in this event as a school: 1) to break record, which can easily be broken again. 2) to paint the cans so that it can look like a singaore flag SO THAT WE CAN APPEAR ON TV!!!
participation as a school: 1) everyone MUST (not can) play a part. we have to collect 8500 cans. so everyone MUST bring 5 used canned drinks. please wash so that we and pass it to anyone in the class
2) any person from the class a) please put all the cans into trash bags and keep them in the class (to facilitate teachers to fail you for cleanliness on the pretext or having so much rubbish in class). b) please record the number of cans collected by each student. Submit the list to the garbage collector aka councillors, who will be going to your classes to collect the bags and the name list.

lol i watched scary movie from series 1 to 4 and it's the funniest movies i've ever seen.
in every movie, a lot of people get hit by vehicles... and don't die. they would just stand in the middle of the road and WHAM, a truck or bus just rams into them. but then i think scary movie 3 and 4 are nicer.
scary movie 1: it started with the killer calling the girl called cindy. then he said he wanted to look at the insides of her, so she said ok, turn to page 47. and that killer was reading a porn magazine, and they didn't sensor it. there was a killer in a mask and he was going to kill a group of cronies. and he knew about them killing someone a year ago. then in the classroom scene, cindy, which was part of the crony, saw the killer outside, then she saw a note on the table saying that he knew what she did last halloween, referring to the killing incident, but she thought it was her date with bobby. then another note appears saying "no bitch, i'm talking about the guy you killed.!" so another scene, part of the crony, buffy (sounds like the vampire slayer) was in a beauty pagaent, and she was going to perform dramatic acting. just when she was starting, she saw her boyfriend, who is at the farthest end, getting killed by the killer, and she screamed hysterically. the judges thought she was acting and thought it was really good. at the backstage, after performing, she was going to save her boyfriend, but when someone told her she got first prize, she said "who cares about greg", and went to collect her prize. the next day, buffy teases cindy about the killer's call, and cindy left, offended. then the killer comes in. buffy thought that it was some movie scene, so she acted alongside with the killer. she pretends to run around, break her legs and let the killer cut off her head. even though her head is chopped off, she said to the killer "hey look at me, im all dead. im a gross, scary, severed head." so the killer dumps the head into a lost and found bin. so another person brenda was with her bf, ray at the movies. ray went to the bathroom and peeks at the guy peeing next door. then he got a penis stuck through his ears. the killer was sitting beside brenda, and brenda started commenting loudly on the movie and talked on her cellphone. the killer took out his knife and was going to kill her when on of the audience who was pissed off snatched the knife and stabbed her. the other audience then too, attacks her and she dies in front of the movie screen. in order not to stay alone, cindy holds party, and she had sex with bobby. the killer shows up and wanted to kill brenda's brother who is in the basement. instead, he got high with him. the killer, then instead went to kill cindy and bobby. both of them escape into the kitchen and bobby and ray are two gays who are planning to start a new life in LA, but must first kill all who knows them. bobby kills brenda's brother with a gun and was preparing to kill cindy, but then the killer shows up and kill both of them with his hook. the killer then started fighting with cindy, and cindy shot a tray at the killer. but the killer imitated the matrix and bent backwards, with the scene slowing down and the bullet going over the killer. the killer then got stuck in that position and had to find a chair to take a seat first before continuing. they continued fighting and in the end, cindy kicked the killer out of the window. she called the cops and they find out that the killer is actually doofy, who was a police officer pretending to be retarded. cindy and another officer goes out to chase after doofy, only to find he has driven away after getting out of his disguise.

recently my learning facilitator (he doesnt like to be insulted with the word teacher or tutor) got me hooked on table soccer. must be because i havent played games for a long long time. but then its a lot of fun.
i realise that i can't make it for the mozilla firefox 3 download day 2008 because im away for camp. so sad.
so the june holidays is 3 quarter gone and all i have picked up is table soccer and janet jackson and improving my trigo functions & identities a whole big deal and watching kung fu panda, which was relatively nice but i couldn't enjoy myself because i came down with a terrible cough. i was originally thinking along the lines of memorising the periodic table but my slack self has constantly refused to do so.
then i was marvelling at mr sng finding out my real name. ive only tagged once and he found my real name. i think he must be damn free to use datf to find my blog on google blog search, click on any random link on my links column, then see on the person's blog links one by one to see who datf is.
but then i must be even more free, use ivle, friendster, facebook, google blog search to find the people i want to, and it's been 95% successful.
damn i want to learn to hack (not trees), i want to learn to be a private investigator. but at least i've learnt how to stalk people with lc's ghostly walk, and how to catch up with people by mrs teo's brisk walking.
anyway, im not around for the next 3 days, so don't bother contacting me. BUT THEN PEOPLE LIKE XUJUN, DON'T THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. SEND ME WHAT I WANT QUICKLY. yay my favourite song. i shall take from top40.about.com's description of the video: Madonna's "Ray of Light" video uses speeded up time lapse images of scenes around the world to help emphasize the energy and movement in the song. Boredom is not an issue in this cavalcade of images.
ok, the first part was not relevant, but her doing the stunts in the first part reminds me of "look, im 75, and i'm doing yoga... to save the world." nobody dances to songs like ray of light in an indian look, with all that face paint and fake golden jewellery. i can't describe how ugly that shirt and jeans are. the hair sucks too. she looks like a maid going to a dance club. and her singing doesn't sound nice, as usual, sometimes suddenly becomes high pitched, then suddenly drops down to a lower pitch. not to mention she sang a verse, in 5:43, she sang "she's got herself a little piece of heaven, waiting for the time when earth shall be as one." when it should be "she's got herself a universe gone quickly, for the call of thunder threatens everyone." basically all we see at the end is lots of people dancing, include a maid singing disgustingly and wearing disgustingly.
a nicer version would be:
she still sounds slightly ghostly at the start, but it gets better. oprah seems to love the song very much, as you can see from instances like 1:14, where she seems to have even memorised the lyrics. and in 1:22, the drummer seemed to be thinking "hey madge, you're doin' well." then in 1:55, oprah was holding the microphone, it's like she's telling us "hey look everybody, i'm going sing too." also in 4:22, she was again like " hey i'm singin', look everyone." back to madonna, when she screamed at 4:40, it was very fun, but then hearing that devilish laugh after was even more funny. she's like saying "AAAHHHH!!! i'm going crazy! im a mad bitch! HAHAHAHAHA!" or after someone has killed another person, then he or she would be "HAHAHAHAHAHA" at 5:31, oprah started "woah"ing, and every "woah" got louder. she must be thinking "damn... that bitch is grabbing all the attention, i must woah louder to grab their attention and shut those f***ers up." then she seemed to gave up at 5:44, she looked at the camera, and putting her saluting-to-nazis-like hand down. she's probably thinking "ok... i lose, let the audience continue sccreaming."
the stupid youtube somehow just have some crap problems when i want to use it. it either shows the loading sign forever, or better still, just tell you that the damn video is unavailable. so here i have to quote from mariah carey's touch my body mv, and im dedicating this stupid quote to my server.

i have no idea what she wants to upgrade it into, but im certain she doesnt have any idea what she's talking about either.
i simply must complain about my server. 1) it has such a prestigious modem that it needs a fan to itself, because if it doesn't, the damn modem will turn hot and make my internet unavailable. 2) most of the time, when the phone at the second floor is being picked up, internet connection is cut off. 3) the company claims that they have upgraded our server free-of-charge till it's 2 times faster but i don't feel the speed being 2 times faster. 4) the support was no help at all. they could not solve any problems i have. the problems are solved ourselves mainly through trial and error.
oh great, so now i want to view youtube videos but i have to depend on luck, whether it's available or not. how pathetic.
when i first watched this video, i thought she was naked when she stripped in 2:57, luckily she's not. but hey, why scare people by wearing that skin colored shirt. anyway, if you had been observant like me, you would have realised that at the start of the video, she was wearing high heels. then when she started jumping on the car, her high heels suddenly became flat soled. then when she walked in the supermarket, her shoes became high heels... again. ok then she jumped on the first counter. 'poof', she wore flat soled shoes. again, magic appeared and after her jump and turn stunt, at around 2:17, her shoe became high heeled. ok so the point is, can't she stick to flat soled shoes throughout the video instead? she doesnt lose class like that.

the first two weeks of the holidays are spent so meaninglessly because i have nothing fun to do, and everything un-fun to do, such as homework. out of my laziness, i miraculously managed to do some chinese, english, and maths homework. but they are all half-done, so it's till quite a headache for me. according to my list, i have 11 things to do, they are:
1) english comprehension - only summary left undone 2) the right word pg 4-14, 31-37, 49-57, 381-382 - not done at all yet 3) 孙子兵法学习单 - havent even read the book, so don't know how to do 4) compulsory chinese ace - did one of the five, which is already enough. so done! 5) maths tb ex 12.2 and misc ex 12 - havent even finished ex 12.2 6) ihc reading and worksheet - the reading is so thick i won't even be tuned on to read it 7) chem 10 years series book - not very important yet, can wait till i finish others 8) contact bpps for project - teacher hasnt replied my email 9) projects' day semi-finals - still compiling documents 10) mrs seck chem web package - successfully pushed this to shawn 11) file big fat file - my main file is too big, and the folders are dropping out, but im a little lazy to do so.
so actually i still have 9 things undone. im thinking of memorising the periodic table to enable easier doing of chem worksheets, but i know it's not likely as im too slack. then my trigo functions is more important because i dont understand it at all. doing the questions seem to be purely using luck. not sure if i could score well for the upcoming trigo functions test. so sad.
