Merry Christmas!

So my family came up the week before Christmas to spend with my sister and I and we had such a great time! We went to 'This is the Place' and it was so awesome! Even though Darren and I don't have kids it was so much fun to see the excitement in our nieces and nephews and how excited they would get. I just love spending time with my family, they really are my best friends. My parents are so giving and love to spend time with their kids and grandkids. We look forward to next year and making this a tradition! We also had a family Christmas party, always a good time at the Farnes'.

I have to laugh cause the Willard fam looks like little demons in this pic! Love you guys but eek!

Christmas morning! We opened stockings and presents together and with the dogs! It really is funny to watch Eddie rip open a present! After we finished up at home we headed to Darren's families for the rest of the day. We ate a awesome breakfast, opened presents, lounged and then ate some more. Isn't that what the holidays are all about? With all the hustle and bustle it is important to take time to remember the true meaning of Christmas and the birth of Christ. I am truly grateful for this time of year to spend with family and friends and to remember all I've been blessed with. Merry Christmas and happy new years!

Hawaii

So this past December Darren and I took a little "road trip" to Maui. To be honest this year though we've done lots of fun things, has been a trying one for us, we really are looking forward to 2011! We just recently went through IVF #2 which unfortunately did not work out :( We were bummed out so we decided to take some time away together. It was much needed and so much fun. I love just being with my man and being crazy! We really do have a lot of fun together and this trip was no exception. We were lazy and slept in, adventurous and swam with turtles and in waterfalls, crazy and drove on the edge of 1200 feet cliffs, piggy and ate lots of yummy food and overall just happy, I even saw the little person from "Little people big world!" The trip was a success, we had a great time and got lots of relaxation in. Vacations to me are the best way to spend my hard earned money. I love them and i love looking forward to them, now the question is where to go next????

Thankgsiving

Yep, we went back to my families after having been down there 3 weeks earlier, what can I say, I love that crazy group?! The whole family was there so it was extra crazy, but a lot of fun. We ate lots, shopped after Thanksgiving, hit up a movie, had our annual girls 'midnight tea party' you name it, we did it! Also this year my dad brought back the danish tradition of coco balla (sp?) candy making. His parents originated from Denmark where they owned a candy shop and this was their prized piece, the $ maker if you will. It was fun to do as a family and we loved to learn so we could carry on the tradition with our families one day.
