Miss Graduate!

My dearest darling sister, Sarah, decided she was too cool for school any more and GRADUATED!! I am SO proud of her!! She graduated from USU with a degree in Interior Design and a minor is Portuguese. She didn't even have time to relax after graduating before she was snatched up. She started this week working for a Design firm called Henriksen Butler. Man she is just so cool!! lol I am so totally bummed that I didn't get to be there for her graduation but I am one super proud sister! Love you Sarge! Congratulations!!

Her super cute announcement.

Two of my all time favorite Ladies!!

Sister TIGA'

Has anyone ever seen the kids show 'Kipper'? At some point Tray was going through a really big Kipper dog faze. Even still there are time when he will speak with an accent because of that show lol. Anyways, one day he started calling his Aunt Heater 'Tiga'' (Tiger in an english accent) and he insisted that he be called Kippa'. Heather has been longing for a nick name from Tray since he could talk and started Nick naming everyone but her. And somehow that one stuck! And she LOVES it. Even Ry has started calling her Tiga. :)

Elder Boo Young and Sister Tiga Young

My darling little sister, Heather, left a few weeks ago on her mission. I can't hang onto my siblings these days! She is in the Provo MTC now, and will be heading to serve in the Samara Russia Missioin. She is going to seriously ROCK. I don't think I have met anyone who loves Russia and Russian more than my little sister. And she is just INCREDIBLE! Anyone who has met Heather can tell you about her energy. She is ALIVE and EXCITED and VIVACIOUS and ECCENTRIC and PASSIONATE! Man she is so awesome! I am soo happy for her and so proud of her. She may have even broken a few hundred hearts by leaving (Seriously. EVERY guy is in love with her and wanted her to stay home lol) The people of Samara are so lucky to be getting her.

The boys and I went to Sandy to spend a week with her before she left. She made that week so special for those boys who are her world. She is such an amazing Aunt! I'm almost positive my kids like her more than me. lol We had such a fantastic week together. And of course all of our pictures together are on HER camera which she took with her before having time to email them to me lol Dang it!

When Uncle Boo was leaving for his mission he took Tray aside and tried to explain to him where Boo would be going and what he would be doing. I am not sure exactly what went on in that conversation but since then Tray has been very adamant about the face that Boo was on a mission in a Rocket teaching people about Jesus. Ha ha he is so stinking cute. And now that Tiga is on a mission too they are BOTH in a rocket teaching people about Jesus. So whenever Tray sees a Jet flying across the sky he yells "Hi Tiga!!! Hi Boo!"

Sisters! (Missing a few :( )

One of our last days together. We spent it shoe shopping :)

Tiga and Ry feeding the ducks.

This picture breaks my heart. Tray did not want to say goodbye to her.
The next year and half seriously better FLY by! lol I miss her so much already!

ELDER Boo

This is my sweet baby brother. All grown up and teachin' people the Gospel! I could not be more proud of him. He is such an amazing man and is just SO fantastic! There is a very special place in my heart for Elder Young. My boys just adore him and miss "Boo" like crazy. He was called to serve in the Buenos Aires, Argentina Mission. He has been gone for 2 months now. He has been in the Provo MTC but was just recently sent to serve in Eugene Oregon until his Visa comes through and he is able to get down to Argentina.

Before Quin left we were able to spend a week in Sandy with him. Even with so many things going on and all the last minute preparations he made sure to make time to be an awesome Uncle. He decided to whip out the old mattresses to do a little mattress diving with my boys. They could not stop laughing, they had such a blast! It is one of my favorite things in the world to watch these boys together.

Uncle Boo is such a riot :)

Boo and I were able to get away and have an afternoon just the two of us. Shopping and eating and laughing and chatting about anything and everything. We sat in the car for 15 minutes doing Panda Express phone surveys to earn us some extra orange chicken! Score! lol

If you ask Tray about his Uncle Boo he will proudly tell you that Boo is his Missionary and is teaching people about Jesus, and that he (Tray) is going to grow up and be a Missionary just like Boo. Tray even took the liberty to tell that to the Prophet upon meeting him last month :)

We sure to do Love our Elder Boo!

Dino Land!

Exciting news and big changes!

Our little family has bounced around a lot in the last 4 years. Spending one year here one year there. Never quite knowing what we were doing or why we felt we were being led different places. I can honestly say we can see good reasons behind every move. We have made wonderful friends and have learned a lot along the way. Recently Darren quit working for his Dad to pursue his own thing. The road has been long and rough but it has all lead up to this point, I think. Darren has been offered a job as a Field service tech for a company called Pason. It is such a wonderful opportunity and truly a blessing in our lives. A big kid job with a big kid salary! And benefits which I am SO excited for lol We are so blessed and still can't believe it is happening. Yes this means we will be moving AGAIN. ha ha anyone surprised really?? We will be moving back to UTAH! Though ironically we will not be any closer to family. The job is in Vernal. Dino Land! lol We drove down for Darren's final interview so we got to drive around and look at the town. It is small, though no smaller than here. There IS a walmart so we're good! We are beyond sad to be leaving all of our wonderful friends here in Rock Springs. This cold windy place has really become our HOME and our friends have become our FAMILY. It breaks my heart just thinking about leaving.. So I'm refusing to think about that part. Darren will start training in Price next week. The training will last 6 weeks. Somewhere in there he will be flying to Colorado for an orientation. The kids and I will stay here at home instead of going with him to stay in a hotel. lol I like being where I have kid's toys and beds. Soon we will have a better idea of what his schedule will be and when we will get to see him. The kids and I will be here for another month or so then we will find a new home in Vernal. This is just the beginning of a brand new Adventure. Wish us luck!

Big Boy turns the Big 1!

Our sweet Ryler turned 1 December 27. Wow where has the year gone?? I look at our little guy and am blown away at how blessed we are to have two amazing, healthy, LIVELY, little boys. Ryler is a kid all his own. I have never met a baby with his spunk. He is a tease, he is a flirt, he is a sneak, and he is the biggest goof! He makes us smile constantly. He is a Daddy's boy when he is excited, he is a Mommy's boy when he is sad or tired, and he is his brother's constant friend and shadow. My mornings consist of chasing Ryler over and over again as he tries to go find and wake up Brother. He peaks around every corner, jumps at every sound, so excited hoping it's Tray coming to play. lol Tray went with his dad for a whole day and Ryler looked for him almost constantly. It was so precious to see how excited Ry was to see his brother late that night when they finally came home. Every afternoon consists of Tray coming to tell me over and over that RYLER IS AWAKE!! Which of course he's not... Tray just want's to be able to go in and get him. They are so fun to watch together. Of course there fights and tiffs. Especially lately... Ryler has developed a little mean streak! He isn't a bully. He never picks fights. But he is no longer willing to sit back and let Tray take his toys ha ha When Tray tries he is greeted by some fierce yelling accompanied by either a push or a series of slaps. Which leaves me sweet sensitive Tray crying lol Poor guy. Ryler is a very little guy. Fun size, compact, travel size for your convenience.. lol He is under the 5% for his height and his weight. But he has always been small and is proportionate so we aren't too worried. He has 5 teeth. 3 up top. 2 on bottom. He loves to use them. He LOVES food of all kinds...except cheese really. I'm not sure why that is. He would rather drink water over juice any day but would gladly steal Brothers chocolate milk and chug it down then scurry away when Brother notices and starts getting mad ha ha He really is such a sneak. He has this crinkly nose grin when he gets caught. I just love it! He still loves crawling and has no desire to walk. I guess I can't blame him yet, he's only been crawling a couple months lol he deserves his crawl time I suppose. Though he will stand up on his own for as long as he wants. He has great balance...just doesn't care to take steps yet. He signs 'food' 'milk' 'all done' and 'drink' He isn't talking much yet still sticking with 'mama' 'papa' and 'dadda'. He loves hiding from me and playing peek a boo. His go to spot is always behind the shower curtain in their bathroom lol He loves reading books, undoing puzzles, coloring, playing with any toy really. He is my tough guy.. while Tray was always terrified of and still jumps when the vacuum, hair dryer, blender, etc, first turn on, Ryler is fascinated by the sounds. He loves playing chicken with the vacuum. Ry has always been one to initially startle easily, but he loves it. Tray and I will hide and jump out and yell BOO at Ryler. And though he jumps a mile high its with a squeal and a huge grin lol He is in a wrestling stage. He will crawl up to you and roll over on top of you and just lay there grinning. He loves when we say "uh! you got me!" He occasionally throws fits when we take things he's not supposed to have. He yells at us, then lays flat on his tummy on the floor like he has lost all will to go on, he'll look up, yell a little more, then lay back down. Eventually he forgets and gets up and is off to the next thing lol spunk I tell ya. He is an easy smiler. He charms people everywhere we go. I just can't imagine life without our chubs. He lights up our lives. Happy Birthday Roo! We love you SO Much!!

My tiny 5 lbs Baby.

He was just so small... You really do forget.

I thought FOR SURE he would devour that cake. No such luck. Totally bizarre for my big eater!

Just some more Random Pics.

Such a good sport... As long as he doesn't know they're there lol Tray likes to decorate him with stickers and bandaids, hats, ties, glasses... but Ryler does NOT like to accessorize like Tray does.

Gettin' Daddy :)

My super heros!!
Ry was tolerating the cape but was not wearing the mask for anything lol

This is probably my All time fav pic of my boys!

Christmas Catch up Part 1

Early December we headed down to UT to for the annual Collin's family Christmas party. Our holiday just wouldn't be the same with out it! It is always so much fun to see the family and let the kids play :) Tray was SOOOOOOO excited to see Santa this year. He talked about it for WEEKS! lol I love his excitement.

We started with dinner. Followed by the Pinata..

The Beating.

The Scuffle.

The Victory!

The chubs kept trying to sneak in on the action.

This video is so sweet to me. No one else really needs to watch it. I just love Trays Excitement :)

This guy waited not so patiently for his name to be called. Daddy had to sit with him and hold him back. He was quite convinced that EVERY name that was called was his. It was a hard wait. There are A LOT of grand kids there. It's especially hard when Brother's name gets called before yours...

"At first I was like... 'Ok who is this clown?'

"And then I was like ' oh ok. He's got a present. We're cool!'

Sweet present from Santa.

Which Brother of course commandeers...

Yes!!! FINALLY Tray's turn. (After Dad stepped in and handed Tray's present right to Santa. One of the last in the big giant pile lol)

Awesome Truck.

Happy boys!

Happy TIRED parents lol

UNTIL NEXT YEAR!! :)

Christmas Catch up Part 2!

I just love Christmas time. I really do. I love the tree, the decorations, the spirit, the songs, the happiness, the giving... I love it all. This year has been our funnest yet as a family. Tray is old enough now that he gets it. The cute thing couldn't wait for Santa to come! Getting him to sleep Christmas eve was quite a task ha ha Watching he and Ryler open their presents was just so much fun! We headed down to UT again this year to celebrate Christmas eve and morning at my Moms house. I love Christmas eve with my family! Now that all my siblings are all grown up and moving away it's so special for us to be able to get together! LOVE IT!

Opening family gifts on Christmas Eve.

When asked what he wanted for Christmas Tray would say " A present" When asked what kind of present he would reply " A Scooby present!" ha ha And he got what he asked for :) His sweet Grandma made sure he got the whole gang! This kid was sooo excited! Up until that point he has been using his superman and spiderman action figures as stand in's for Fred and Daphne :)

Ry's First Christmas! He really enjoyed the wrapping paper :)

His toys weren't so bad either..

More Trains! What boy doesn't need more??

Tray was very kind to help Ryler open his gifts.. Ry didn't love the help. lol

He wasn't sure how he felt about his new fun penguin pal at first.. He warmed up to him eventually though lol

Well Christmas fun but I was so glad when all the hussle and bussle was done! lol I keep thinking one of these years we're just going to stay home.... But what fun would that be?!? :)
