olympics? what olympics? not in beijing but in Perth where Zion Praise Harvest had its very own Zion Olympics today in conjunction with the Olympics happening in Beijing. We had cell group games, badminton, basketball and 5 a side soccer.
it was fantastic, I won the mixed doubles category with Yee Fang and won 3rd placing in the mens doubles with Luthaniel. all the smashes, running around the court, covering my partner in both the mixed and mens doubles was indeed tiring. We started playing the cell games at 9 in the morning and ended at 11.30. Then we went on to badminton which ended at 2pm. I played a total of 6 matches, 15 minutes each so yes i was so tired after all the categories have finished playing.
I can see that everyone had fun overall and i think everything went smoothly so i was pretty happy with the final outcome. I would like to thank Janice, Da Yong and Darrel for helping me out because without their support, this tournament would not have happened. thanks guys, you guys are the best!

Let the Games Begin

the Olympics is here, the Olympics is here again! its been like what 4 years already since the last games was held in Athens in 2004. I reckon its gonna be massive, I really enjoy watching the Olympics because got so many events from shooting to badminton to swimming to gymnastics, you name in man. well its going to be shown on Channel 7 only so i was rather disappointed because i thought other channels would be showing as well.
ah well, I actually do not even know whether i would have time to watch or not. would be supporting Malaysia in badminton though, I reckon they Lee Chong Wei got a good chance of winning the first ever gold medal for Malaysia in badminton. i have confidence that he can rise up to the occasion this time. Go Chong Wei!
The english premier league season is also about to get underway next Saturday, gosh i really cannot wait. chelsea got a new manager in Scolari, interesting to see how he fares in the premier league. for my club Arsenal, well it would be good to see how Nasri and Ramsey plays although I know they are very very young but i believe the both of them can shine this coming season.
i did my first audit job today and yesterday in terms of auditing coogee chemicals control systems, it was interesting to see how the company manages their day to day operations. it was interesting because i did their payments yesterday and their sales system today so it really was an eye opener to me.
thank god the weekend is here, it has been a tiring week for me.
below are photos from Pauline & Kenny's birthday dinner on Tuesday at the Blue Duck Restaurant, Cottesloe:-
