Happy Belated Birthday Jeremy and Janice

2 birthdays on the same day and that day also happens to be Australia Day. 3 in 1, hahahaha. It was a great day indeed last saturday because I had a fantastic lunch and went ice skating after that. it was my first time ice skating and I also fell down hitting my head but luckily it was a minor one, not a hard knock so everything's good.

The gang suppose to surprise Jeremy but the plan failed because we were suppose to be at his house by 11.15am on Saturday but we all came late and Fenny arrived the earliest in fact. She arrived at 11.20 and when me, Vipps and Peter came 5 minutes later, we saw Jeremy outside the house smiling at us. When we asked Fenny, she said " Oh, I thought you guys were already here so thats why I parked my car at the house entrance.

It was so funny because after that I said " Lets take the cake down from the car before it melts " and then everyone looked at me. ooopps, it slipped my mind to forget that the cake suppose to be a surprise as well. Ah man, how silly of me. these things do happen anyways so ya just have to be more alert next time.

Overall, that Saturday was fun because I got to do ice skating for the very first time and my first in perth as well so ya, it was very exciting! I was also happy because Jeremy really enjoyed himself on Saturday. you are truly an awesome friend man, hope you had an awesome birthday!

I messaged Janice in the morning to wish her and she was happy that I even texted her. Went to have a very late dinner at Da Yong's place because I had a golf game from 5.45- 9pm with James Wu, Michael Loke, Natalie, Mojo and Stanley at Sea View Golf Club, Cottlesloe. hope you had a great birthday as well Janice, both of you are just awesome friends to me! have a good one!

Long Weekend Is Here

long weekend is here, hooray! even though I got like Monday off because it is a public holiday, considering Saturday is Australia Day so the government decided to declare Monday as a public holiday. woweeeeeee!

this week has actually gone by so fast and I think part of the reason is I have been out most of the nights. lets see, Monday I went swimming with Joel, Yumi and Nigel Wang and then the 4 of us went for dinner @ Malaysian Garden Chinese Restaurant where Stanley joined us.

Tuesday, ah Tuesday, I went over to Usha's place to look for her because I thought why not? Since I was helping Elise and Wilson to move their stuff to Da Yong's place and I dropped them off @ Don Watts so I thought why not pay Usha a visit since I have not really spoken to her in such a long time. However, I ended up talking to Iris instead because I called her to ask whether Usha was at home or not, she was not answering her phone so ya then Iris started asking me questions about her PR on the phone so I thought, aiyah, why dont I just go over to your place since its quite nearby. After that we ended up talking for 2 and a half hours, wah super long right? Talking about all sorts of things from relationships to working life and so on.

Then on Wednesday, I met up with Joel for coffee @ Farrell's Vic Park which also went on for like 2 hours because we were there from 7.45pm - 10pm just talking about all kinds of things so ya its been a week where I find myself talking to people more and more so thats good.

well its already 12.11 in the morning and I do not want to be late for work tomorrow morning so ya, better go to sleep soon. cheers!

Planetshakers Night Rally 2008

Shake the planet? planet shake? no of course not, its called Planetshakers. Planetshakers are a youth ministry based in Melbourne, Australia and they are going to rock the world for Jesus Christ. I went for the last night rally which was on Friday, the 18th Of January 2008 and boy i tell ya, it was really such an amazing and awesome experience.

The worship was phenomenon, the atmosphere was electrifying and the speaker, Pastor Reggie Dabbs just blew the audience away with his message. It was actually interesting because I felt that he was really different from most of the other speakers that i have heard till today. He made all of us dance and sing and jump and made the crowd really get into the mood man. It was so crazy until I myself began to sweat like crazy when the rally ended at around 10.30pm.

I estimated there were around 6,000 people who came to the rally that night and yes the atmosphere was just so crazy, people jumping and screaming. boy was everyone there really having a good time. I really enjoyed myself that night and I always look forward to go for one of this night rallies because it happens only once a year, 1 in 365 days man. Looking forward to next years one, I am sure it is going to be even better than this year.

I helped Rungano to move house today, she had to move out from her old place in Hillview Terrace because her landlord was going to sell the house. I just came to realise that a lot of people seem to be selling their houses in Perth for the past few weeks and I do wonder why. is it because of the slowdown in the property market? well could be, who knows?

So me and Vipps helped Rungano to move her stuff to her new place in Applecross which is an apartment with 2 bedrooms. she is staying with one more girl from Kenya or Nigeria, I can't remember already. We went to have lunch at Ipoh Garden Restaurant along Canning Highway and I had the fried Ipoh hor fun. Tashinga came along when we helped Rungano moved house and it was good because I got a chance to know her better.

2 more weeks away and I am back to KL for holiday, I can't wait actually. Have not gone back for 2 years now man, could you believe it? 2 years! I have been staying put in Perth for 2 years. thats a long long time! Till next time this is Donnie Yen junior signing off. cheers!

Here is a video of Pastor Reggie Dabbs at the Hillsong Conference 2006, enjoy!

Delicious Pizzas Only At Little Caesers Pizzeria

common common, get your lovely desert and award winning pizza only at Mundaring. Thats right ladies and gentleman, introducing the best pizzas in the world and one of its kind only at Little Caesers Pizzeria. I went there a couple of times already and boy I must say the pizza there offers something different then your normal day pizza like Domino's and Eagle Boy's pizza.

Little Caesers offer desert pizzas which i would say looks and tastes delicious. For those of you who have not tried the pizza at Little Caesers, you don't know what your missing out man. No doubt that its like 40 minutes drive from Perth and is located on top of a hill, its still worth the trip man. I so love the pizzas at Little Caesers.

Goodbye 2007, Welcome 2008 Part 3

it has already been one week since i last wrote on my blog. wah already 10 days into the new year, unbelievable man. i was suppose to continue where I left of the last time which was about reflecting the year 2007 and how it has impacted my life.

well to cut it short i guess the one thing that really impacted me in 2007 was the badminton outings that i have been playing every sunday from 6 to 8pm. awesome, i enjoyed playing and also talking to people who were there. its just one of the things i look forward to every week, playing badminton to exercise and also getting to know people who came along to play.

I guess talking about that, I took up the challenge this year to bring the badminton game onto a whole new level. I decided to make it a ministry in Zion Praise Harvest and I want to thank Da Yong, Darrel and Janice for volunteering to help me run this ministry. I know it would be tough for me to run the ministry all by myself and thats why I a so blessed to have the 3 of them help me out. Thanks a lot guys!

Another highlight of my year would be swimming every Monday mainly with George but sometimes with Joel as well. I really enjoyed swimming with the both of them because we always talk about our day, our interests and our passion for things in life which is just absolutely amazing. I have also grown stronger in terms of my relationship with the both of them and learned a lot about the bible and christ through Joel.

He is just an unbelievable brother to me and knowing his teaching and sharing has opened up my eyes to a lot of new things in this world and knowing the through meaning of christ.

Another highlight of my year would be the bible study sessions that i have every saturday night organised by Mr Kenner aka Peter. I attended it quite regularly and its good because not only I enjoy learning about God's word but also getting to know people from other countries as well. So interesting to learn about their culture and what their hopes and passion is for life and what they would like to achieve. Thanks Peter for organising it man, really awesome!

Ya so those are my highlights for 2007. There are actually so much more that I can write but i guess it would be too long so I reckon I would stop here. Overall, it has been a great year for me. I did put up with a lot struggles especially my job hunting but somehow God pulled me through and I thank him for that.

I just hope and pray that this year would be a much better year for me and i that I would keep on learning and improving and also change my bad habits. what a year it has been for me seriously. Goodbye year 2007 and welcome year 2008!
