Greetings fellow fans!
It'd been a while since i update my blog. I know its terrible, dun remind me. =<
I hope everyone has been doing great lately! I heard that the weather is alright now in SG so eveything should be fine huh. (= Alright, where shall i begin..
Hmm, from my last post I was eagerly waiting for my results. Well, here they are! I got 2 first class grade, 2 second upper grade and got another first class grade for 1 of my assignment. Its not really that good cuz i merely hit the margin for the 1st class grade.
At the moment, I still got 1 assignment + 1 final year dissertation on hand which i'm rushing. My stupid professor is giving a hell of a hard time. Everytime i send him my updated essay there are bound to be lots of criticisms and comments from him. It kinda disappoints me but I know he is doing it such that I can further improve. Therefore I will be very busy these 2 weeks (before the end of Easter)in rushing and completing both of my assignments before beginning my Mugging Sessions once again. It is my final semester before I graduate and I've got about 3 exams. Hopefully I'll be able to nail all of them. *Prays*
So besides studying I also went on a shirt trip to London during this Easter vacation. I took a train there which cost me a total of 104 pounds (2-way return) and the journey is about 3-4 hours. Luckily I have my pSp with me and some random people to chat with during the journey. Upon landing in London Kingscross, I took a tube and mind you, the tube (MRT) map in London is certainly confusing! However, being witty as usual, I managed to navigate around with ease in no time at all. :X
I met up with my long lost friend, Celeste, since she've got a flight to London. With only 2 hours of sleep (from the previous day) I went shopping with celeste and valerie (her twin sister). We went to Oxford Circus where all the major brands such as LV, Gucci, Chanel, miumiu, etc lies along Old and New Bound Street. Yeah needless to say, massive shopping and massive spending as well. Thereafter, we head back to the hotel and decided to book a musical show where London is famous for their theatre plays. The musical show that we are gonna watch is call "Wicked".
Initially, I thought that since I'm so tired, I'll be struggling to keep myself awake so that I will not waste the 76.50 pounds ticket. However, not only were the ambience and crowd fantastic, the musical play itself was Superb!! Thumbs up for it. The story slowly unfolds on how the female lead slowly turns into a witch and why the title Wicked. I must say that the singing was great, I haven heard someone sing so beautifully for a long time.. besides myself. Haha. So I guess the money is worth it. "And now I have changed, because of you, I am no longer.. Wicked."
After that, we had KFC for supper (sinful) and went out the next day with the aircrew for the famous Duck Rice in London. I can't remember if the name of the store is Goldmine or 4 Seasons but I heard both are good. As someone who seldom consume duck rice, I guess you could say its pretty good. Oh did I mention, throughout the 2 days I'm in London, it was constantly raining cats & dogs! I wonder wads wrong with the weather but London is definitely much warmer than Newcastle.
We headed over to the "Believe it or not" museum and boy was it hilarious! There are alot of facts as well as myths and its up to your own beliefs. Nonetheless, the mirror maze as well as the turning tunnel were the best thing they had. I thought I could keep my cool and walk straight pass the bridge but I was wrong. My legs turned jelly, my head was spinnning widly and I had to hold on to the bridge and try to balance myself while laughing hysterically. Haha you bet it was a great experience I would never forget!
We wanted to visit the famous London Bridge but the circle line was under maintenance and we were too tired to travel there. Thus, we headed to a restaurant for some old traditional fish & chips which was as huge as an elephant. Ok im just kidding, it was just big and the orange jucie tasted horrible! It was so bitter! Went back to the hotel after dinner where the SQ girl watched a drama starring Vanness wu while I fell asleep watching Wrestling on tv. Woke up in the noon and went back to newcastle via the train! I guess this sums up my 2-days trip in London. I must say that London is definitely a great place to visit and I will really like to go there again perhaps for a longer stay this time round. (: Lastly, thanks Celeste for putting me up in the very expensive hotel, the orange juice, pasta, ham, fun and laughters. It was a very enjoyable trip indeed.
Okie, its getting late, I have to go to the library before it closes. Will try and update more often now so don't complain ok, my 1 and only fan. Hahaha. Take care people, Adios!
With Love,
Casper
