Paris & Rome

- My new ziPpO PlayBoy! (Ignore the acting cute part)

Just finished packing my luggage. hmm since its jus 3 days in Paris follow by 3 days in Rome, I guess i wouldn't be bringing much clothes along. So expect me to be in the same outfit throughout the trip when u guys see the pixs. haha!

Just changed currency today, from Pounds to Euros. Hmm, i feel that the Euros notes look nicer than Pounds! But nonetheless, their values are about the same. Its like 1.0227 Euros : 1 Pound. What's the difference honestly? Well, hopefully i won't splurge too much and spend away my living expenses during this trip. If not when i'm back i'd hav to eat grass wiv the castle leazes cows and borrow milk from em. Eh, perhaps cook up some steaks.

Looking forward to the trip which will begin at 1350H tmr in the Newcastle Airport. It'll probably be a 2 hours flight and we'll land in Paris at about 1630H i guess. Heh, can't wait! Gonna be my 1st time to European countries together with Jim and Adeline! Paris & Rome, HERE WE COME!!!

So it'd 1 blog-less week and i'll try to take as many pixs as possible! But when i'm back, its back to reality mugging time again. Life is always like this, happy moments are always short. So, treasure it while it last. Gosh! Guess i better stop blogging and go do some research on how to travel around Paris n Rome. Dun wanna spend hours navigating around lyk a retarded tourist! Oh ya did I mention the name of our hostel in Paris seems abit fishy. Its called Young & Happy Hostel! The Italy hostel sounds better, Hostel + Hotel Positano. (=

Take care people! Hav a great week ahead. I miss you all too!

Casper

Easter Holiday!

Been quite some time since i've blogged cause nothing much happened lately anyway.
Well, its finally Easter and we r having a 1 month holiday! The Europeans all went back to their countries leaving us Asians here rotting away~ Looks lyk its gonna be a boring boring boring month. Just received my another assignment feedback last week and again i got 65%. Seems like no matter how hard i tried my assignment grades are confined to that cursed number 65. Gotta push myself abit harder to get my first class 70%! Damn. To me, it seems that exams r easier to score as compared to course work though. Anyway, i've already got a plan for my one month Easter

Today is Saturday and i've been slacking lyk crap. Watching movies online, cooking pasta, calling friends (both uk n sg), blogging, drinking... basically rotting.
So, tmr we r gonna haf a farewell houseparty at Jacky's place for Winston because he's going back to SG during Easter. So before i get all wasted there, i'm gonna do some work tmr morning to noon! My plan is to prepare and do as much as possible for my FOUR Assignments during this and next week before going to Paris and Rome the following week. Then once i'm back from Europe, I'll finish up my assignments and start my revision for the exams on May.

My exams dates are out though its provisional only. They are: 19th May, 21st and 22nd. And oh gosh.. my birthday falls on the 21st. Looks like im gonna spend my 23rd birthday mugging! Come to think of it, 23 sounds abit old man.. shytt i'm becoming an uncle soon.

The issue here is by right, i'm supposed to report to camp 3 days after my last paper but I told RSAF that my return tix is already pre-booked on the 14th june and will only touchdown by the 15th. So they allowed me to report only on the 16th. So what am i gonna do during the 3 weeks after my last paper? I was wondering should i go travelling or shld i sneak back to sg secretly? But the issue is if i bring forward my retun date, i've gotta report to work earlier as well. But at the same time i wanna go back to SG cause i misssss everyone sooo damn mucchh.
So the option is to either slack in England for 3 weeks or go back to SG and work for that extra 3 weeks. Tough choice.

I guess i'll decide as time goes by. Now my biggest worries are my assignments and exams only! Its the last stretch before going back to my homeland! I wanna do my very best! but problem is.. im always procrastinating and slacking away. Super lazy! Can someone take a big hammer and knock some sense into me please? I feel the stress to do my work but how come i'm not doing it. Whenever i see the loads of notes and books i feel lyk fainting. I have to constantly psycho myself that i lov to study, i lov to do work, i lov what i'm doing. I predict that very soon i'll become an emotionless robotic creature.

There are basically 2 types of people. 1 that TALK about it, whine about it, cry about it and 1 that BE about it, do it, implement it. Which one do you wanna be? Action really speaks louder than words. I guess i'm a little bit of both but the point is.. when its time to do something, do it. No questions asked.

Hmm enough of my philosopher wannabe talks. I've been watching the little nyonya online! Omg i totally love it! its like 'da chang jing' type of show. They storyline is good but sometimes i watch till abit pek cek cuz i really hate the bad people. They are absoutely evil! Watch till angry. But, Jeanette is really pretty!
Heh not bad, i still like singapore shows despite not watching any of em for 6months plus.

Okie.. its a Saturday night and i'm staying at home not knowing what to do. I hope all of you out there are having fun and most importantly, are HAPPY! I can't wait for my assignments to be done and my exams to be over so i can officially announce that "I'M COMING BACK HOME!" The day will come when we sit down together, have a nice chat, have a good drink and have a wonderful time. Less than 3 months to go! I really miss all you people!

Before we have our great reunion, we'll all have got our own battle to do beforehand.

For those who are studying, kill your enemies, kill your exams, defeat them totally and do your very best, for you will look back without regrets, with a smile on your face when you get your results which is what you deserved.

For those who are working, i know the working world is tough, too much bureaucracy, too routined, too tiring.. its endlness complainings. But i still pray you have the strength to overcome work. Its not about crushing your work but about lovin it. If you love your work, you never have to work for another day in your life.

For those who are looking for work, there's no need to mention the economic situation but still, if you seek, you will find. I wish you all the best in finding something you enjoy doing. Never give up for you never know, you might be the best employee the company has ever recruited. Keep going on.

For those who are struggling with emotions, this is the most difficult issue to deal with for human beings tend to listen to their heart more than their brain. You know u shouldn't dwell upon it but still, you can't control what your mind is thinking. You feel like you're trapped in an endless tunnel which you can never get out. You see no life, no light, nothing out of everything. But my friend, if you are willing to look at things from a different view, you will see everything out of nothing. No doubt it is not easy, but it is not impossible either. You may have lost the BATTLE now, but, you've got a WAR to win in the near future. My point is, forget bout the past and move on. I pray for your heart to be strong. Be strong.

Last but not least, goodluck to everyone out there with whatever you are occupied with. Sometimes, it doesn't hurt to stop what you are doing, slow down your pace and look at what's happening around you. Don't let time rush you, dun let it control you. Treasure your family, your friends and your love ones. All in all, lets all march on and fight on ahead for victory is right there waiting for us.

With Love,
Casper

Pasir Ris Ghost Story

Very Shocking!
This is a real story of a young college girl who passed away last month in
Pasir Ris .

Her name was Priya.. She was hit by a truck.

She was working in a call center. She had a boy friend named Shankar .

Both of them were true lovers. They always talked on the phone.

You would never find her without handphone.. In fact she also changed her
cell connection from M-One to Starhub, so that both of them can be on the
same network, and save on the cost.
She used to spend half of the day talking with shankar .
Priya's family knew about their relationship. . Shankar was very close to
Priya's family as well. (Just imagine their love).

Before she passed away she always told her friends 'If I pass away please
burn me with my handphone' she also said the same thing to her parents.
After her death, people cld'nt carry her body, A lot of them tried to do
so,but still can't. Everybody had tried to carry the body, the results
were the same.

Eventually, they called a person known to one of their neighbours, who can
speak with the soul of dead person and who was a friend of her father.
He took a stick and started speaking to himself slowly.
After a few minutes, he said 'this girl misses something here.' Then her
friends told that person about her intentions to burn her with her phone.

He then opened the grave box and place her phone and sim card inside the
casket. After that they tried to carry the body. It was then moved easily
and they then carried her into the van.
All of us were shocked. Priya's parents did not inform Shankar that Priya
had passed away..

After 2 weeks Shankar called Priya's mom.

Shankar :.....'Aunty, I'm coming home today. Cook something nice for me.

Don't tell Priya that I'm coming home today, I wanna surprise her.'

Her mother replied, 'You come home first, I wanna tell you something very
important.'

After he came, they told him the truth about Priya.
Shankar thinks that they were playing a fool. He was laughing and said
'don't try to fool me - tell Priya to come out, i have a gift for her.
Please stop this nonsense.'
Then they show him the original death certificate to him.
They gave him proof to make him believe. ( Shankar started to sweat) He
said, 'Its not true. We spoke yesterday. She still calls me.'

Shankar was shaking.
Suddenly, Shankar 's phone rang. 'see this is from Priya, see this....' he
showed the phone to priya's family. All of them told him to answer. He
talked using the loudspeaker mode.
All of them heard his conversation.

Loud and clear, no cross lines, no humming.
It is the actual voice of Priya & there is no way others could use her sim
card since it is nailed inside the grave box.

They were so shocked and asked for the same person's
(who can speak with the soul of deal persons) help again. He brought his
master to solve this matter.

He & his master worked for 5 hours.

Then they discovered one thing which really shocked them.

Starhub has the best coverage
"Wherever you go, our network follows."

HAHAHAHA!!! I got this from Junyang's blog and decided to post it up for you guys to have a laugh as i find it kinda eerie initially n super lame at the end. hahaha i hope you enjoyed it although the feeling suxs cuz u were expecting to get freaked out just like i do but ended up -______________-! hahahaha. Peace.

- Newcastle United UNITE!

- TOON ARMY!!!

The soccer stadium, St James Park, was really awesome! Its super huge and super nice!
We were allocated to the students' section which was at the highlest level, 7 and i thought the view would be bad but suprisingly, the view was fantastic! You could see everything clearly from above and i meant even to the extend of recognizing who the players are! Some of the big players who played ytd were Ronaldo, Rooney, Berbatov, Carrick, Tevez and for Newcastle.. the no. 18 guy called Jonas was really good!

The total crowd was about 51,000 and so as to speak, Geordie Fans = CRAZY! They were standing throughout the entire game and were constantly cheering and singing some Newcastle United songs! Like.. Geordie Geordie, Toon Toon! And they were really LOUD! Nonetheless, Manchester United Fans were seated at a corner section with lotsa security guards protecting them. It was really funny when all of the newcastle fans
taunt and make fun of the man-u fans, they were calling them WANKERS and along with
the hand action. Haha and when man-u players gained possession of the ball, the fans will boo them! lol it was so much fun!

The atmosphere really differs when u watch it LIVE in the stadium and shout along with all the fans as compared to watching soccer in the tv. Anyone coming to England must watch the English Premier League live okie? I'm looking forward to visiting either Old Trafford (Manchester) or Anfield (Liverpool) one of these days. Heh, didn't know why i was supporting and shouting for the MAGPIES yesterday.. i guess its prolly cuz im wearing newcastle jersey and i'm in newcastle! GO GO GO NEWCASTLE UNITED!!!

Currently these are some of the pics i have at the moment, shall upload more after i've gotten the rest yeah. Heh, thereafter we went for drinks at Madisons and the most funny thing was... rosita asked if we were okie and the very next moment she was lying on the table, totally gone. Troublesome night but still, it was fun. Hmm, i seriously nid to cut down on my alcohol intake but i think im a better drinker now. ^^ And oh ya, there r also some of the pics which are taken when my classmates and I went singing and eating at a jap restaurant called sagawa which i mentioned before i think. (:

Lastly, i've got back my exam result for Consumer Behaviour and ive gotten... 68%.
Didn't hit the magic number 70 yet.. but there r signs of improvement. My friend said its really difficult to score 70+ for exams but she got 74% for this paper despite it being her first time scoring above 70 for exams. Well, I will beat her eventually! So, i'm quite motivated to do even better but am still a lazy bum. Nid to mug mug but in 2 weeks time its Easters' Vacations... and its touring time. Time really flies man! :)

I'm feeling really sleepy! Have been slping for less den 6hrs on average for this week due to all the hangouts and i haven been efficient in the library either. Alright i'm gonna eat some seaweed, watch some videos then go to bed. Oh ya, anyone interested in playing MAFIA WARS? Its a facebook game. If ur keen in joining my mafia member, let me know and i'll invite you! Its fun and it helps to pass time =P
As usual, take care everyone, shall update again. Peace.

Casper
