No more slacking!!!

Time is running out. I'm left with about 3 weeks plus before the very much dreaded exams approaches! 3 papers to kill.

To the library to the library to the library to the library to the library to the library to the library to the library to the library to the library from MONDAY onwards i'm gonna be a library whore!

Seriously, when i look at HRM, it really makes me feel so darn sleepy. I really need some motivations to wake me up, like perhaps 1 tight slap to wake me up from my dream. Study study study, mug mug mug. Gotta finish the big fat book.

Christmas is arriving soon, in about a week's time. Local forcast says that its very unlikely to be a white xmas this year in most parts of UK.. but for London there's a higher probability of snowing on that day. Its gonna be foggy so not much planes or birds will be flying around and the only thing that's gonna be in the sky is Santa's Sleigh guided by *Rudolph the rednose raindeer~~*! So they say.. Merry merry merry Christmas! *HoHOhOhohOOoOo*

How I wish I was in sg. Even just for a week.. or maybe two. miss those lame jokes and laughing moments. Lets all countdown to xmas!!! 6 more days to go baby and the world will be filled with love, joy, peace and laughters~ May everyone be blessed and may God be with everyone! Be it studies or career or family or love.. everything, in fact anything, will be successful when christmas and the new year arrives! Try saying "Merry Christmas" to everyone you know because 9 out of 10 will wish you back with a smile (: and the remaining one will give u a big *hUg*! (:

Take care everyone! So merry, so happy, for you and for me.

With Love,
Casper

i'm so effing disappointed..

I was the first one to approach the lecturer in the morning due to my anxiousness... i reached there at 8.30am when the feedback session is suppose to start at nine.
Alright so the lecturer handed over to me my assignment and when i flip the page i saw 65% a sudden rush of blood into my head and i felt kinda dissappointed. The lecturer told me that i did really well considering the fact that the average students only scored about 50% (40% is the passing grade)and that i'm in the 2nd upper grade category. She says that its a really good grade especially if its the first time i'm doing such assignment and as quoted by her "it is much much better than what you think" - well, i think she's just trying to console me.

Looks like all the few China students(exchange students) and some friends of mine are really geniuses back in their country. They've got results like 66%, 67% and even 70%. damn it, are A-levels students really smarter than diploma students? Izzit becuz of their General papers which is why they've got experience in dealing with such arguements and debates in essays? It is an endless debate once again..

Nonetheless, the top 2 students for this assignment which i mentioned earlier are always sitting at the 'back rows' during lectures. Kinda contridicting huh. Seems like students here are really smart and cannot be underestimated. Though the grade of my first assignment shows a 2nd upper class position, the truth is that, it is really not an easy task to achieve 1st class results. One have to really put in effort and do lots of research and reading especially with regards to my course (Business Management) which is all essay-based and debatable issues and you can never achieve a 100% grade unlike for instance, engineering which has a definite answer. I enjoy the lectures and like to debate but i really hate the idea of having to do lots of self-reading.. prolly cuz i'm lazy. )= All these seems to be form of excuses for me to conduct some self-consoling, pardon me.

After my 'disappointment process' is over, its time to get it over with and move on. I promise that my next assignment produced(which i've just completed) is of first class quality that deserves a first class grade. Seems like a challenge but i gladly accept and welcome it.

Next up, study and mug and study and mug and study and mug and study and mug.

p.s sorry for all the whinings. the grades just bothers me too much. Thanks sis but dun worry, i will not risk the 300k *pressure* on me. haha.

With Love,
Casper

Tomorrow: 9 - 12..

- Christmas dinner with singapore society.

- Hiding the fat cheeks.

I'm feeling really nervous now becuz tmr 9 - 12 will be the time i'll be getting feedback and results for my VERY FIRST assignment handed in the UK. Wonder how their marking style will be like so i'm really freaking anxious. I really did put in effort in doing this piece of work and followed the tutor's instructions strictly.
However, the lecturer announced the top 2 results in class... 1st was 88% and the 2nd was 83%. Both are ang mohs. Darn i never thought that some of em are actually that smart! The lecturer mentioned that only about 20 out of 300 students got First Class Grrades which means 70% or higher but 160 out of 300 got 2nd Upper Class grades which is equivalent to 60-69%. Our cohort did really well she says but damn it, i wan a freaking first class grade. However... considering tat its jus 20/300 and looking at the number of asians vs ang mohs.. the probability of me achieving it is as low as 1%. Its almost 7pm now.. i've got about 14hours before receiving my first grade in England!!! Its really weird cuz i've never been that kan cheong before even during my poly years. I'm merely getting an assignment result which is just an optional module but constitutes 30% of the overall module but i'm already so... Grr... i've got 3 exams in jan and i've got about 1 month of study break to CHIONG finish all. I'm gonna do some self-motivation and burn the midnight oil.
1 of the exam is actually about Contract Law.. and it seems really difficult. BUT i'm afterall a distinction student in biz law back in poly so i must live up to the reputation aye! But i'm really having low morale and low confidence now which is so unlike me. What the hell is going on man? Where is the POSITIVE SPIRIT that i've always preached. ALRIGHT i'm gonna do well i'm gonna do well i'm gonna do well! ROAR!
Sry for this whining session.. cuz i'm really cold & nervous now. In a few days time i'm gonna start my 1 month confinement secret studying whore session! Human Resource Management, English Law, Consumer Behaviour.. COME WHAT MAY i shall put all of you down! Behold the almighty Casper who's gonna kick some ass.

Shan't type anymore, i'm really not being myself today. Take care fellow friends!

With Love,
Casper
