Reagan Layne Ritter

Reagan Layne Ritter arrived on April 15, 2010 at 4:27 pm weighing 9 pounds, 5 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long. This is a picture of our new family of 5!

Reid is such a proud big brother!

Sam, Reagan and me

We are all doing well...we are adjusting to having 3 little boys at our house! I'm adjusting to being sleep deprived and taking care of 2 older little boys! Thankfully, I have had lots of help. We are very blessed, and we are so thankful for another healthy little boy!

Easter Pictures

I know Easter was over a week ago, but I wanted to post some sweet pictures of my family.

My sweet boys: Reid, Sam, and Landry

My precious 4 year old - he's getting so BIG!

I had to show off Reagan in this picture on Easter!

My cool dudes and the sunglasses they got in their Easter baskets!

This computer is about to drive me crazy, because it's not letting me put the pictures in order the way I want them. I'm about to have a fit with it! In other news, Reagan Layne will be here Thursday! Our family is very excited, and we ask that you remember us in the next few days. I will post when I can, but I can't make any promises!

I Can Do All Things...

Okay, so I have to write this down so I won't forget it. This afternoon, Reid and Landry got out a lot of their cars to play with, and they had left them in the den. So, after the boys' baths, Sam and I were in the den with them while they were picking up the cars. Reid was talking about how many cars they have (they only have over 100 of them), and then he started talking about the ones that he didn't have (which is not very many). Sam told Reid that they had almost every car there was, but then Reid named a particular car that he didn't have. He then proceeded to tell Sam and me that he was going to ask for that car for Christmas.

Sam: Well, Reid, that car sure is hard to find.

Reid: That's right, Daddy, but the Bible says, "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me." So if Jesus will strengthen me, he will strengthen ya'll to get the car that I want.

So there you have it!

HE Restores!

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. 1 Peter 5:10

Today is the 6 year anniversary of our business. God is so good and so faithful! This morning during my quiet time, the Lord gave me this verse. How awesome is His timing! I am reminded of the "suffering" that Sam and I encountered during those very difficult times, but now I see how God's faithful hand is restoring us, making us strong, firm and steadfast! Another thing that God showed me this morning was that He HIMSELF is the one who restores! Thank you, Jesus!

We are not victims to our circumstances. If we allow that thought process to consume us, then satan has already won the battle. The Christian life is not easy; God, in His sovereign grace and knowledge, allows suffering for my good and His glory! I know that we will encounter more trials and sufferings, but may I always be faithful to my God! May He always be glorified in my life!

Soooo long.....

I know it's been almost 3 months since I've posted, but things have been a little crazy. Then, I got behind and wondered what the use was in catching up. Anyway, I had to share this picture Sam took of the boys this morning. It is sooo cold here, but Reid wanted to go outside this morning and ride his gator. So...we bundled them both up and went for a little walk. As you can tell, they enjoyed being outside!
In other news, for those of you that keep up with us solely by the way of this blog, we have found out I am pregnant! I am due in April with another little BOY!!! During my first trimester, I was so extremely tired that everything fell by the wayside. We are all very excited about welcoming another baby into our family.
We, as everyone is at this time of year, are busy getting ready for Christmas. Sam and I are trying to instill in the boys the true meaning of Christmas, and that has been fun. They are so excited about this special time of the year, too! So...I will try to get back on track and be a little better about updating. NO promises right now, though! Merry Christmas!

Touch-A-Truck

Saturday, our city had Touch-A-Truck, an annual event where they have LOTS of trucks of all kinds. Kids are invited to come climb on them, ride on them, and have lots of fun. So of course we had to take Reid and Landry. I think they liked it, although they were worn out when we left.

The tractor was the first thing they climbed on. You can tell Landry isn't quite sure what to think.

Reid and Landry on the REAL gator!

Landry wanted to climb in the medical transport truck. He kept pointing to this truck saying, "Blu!" which is his version of "blue!"

Sam caught a seat on the fire truck with Reid - the horn scared Landry pretty bad, and he started crying!

checking out the helicopter

There is an interesting story behind these pictures. This guy is a friend of ours, and he was giving rides to the kids on this particular "truck." Reid did not want to go, but Landry did! So...Reid sat and watched as his brother showed him the ropes!

Landry is on there moving a pile of dirt!

Not to be outdone by his brother, Reid decided to take the chance!

Reid climbed all the way up this pile of dirt!
Then, Reid decided he would take a ride on the tractor, too. He got brave pretty quickly!

Playing in the dirt!

I got a close-up of Reid's face. You can tell he is trying to decide what to think. Landry, however, would not ride the tractor when Reid got through. Nothing like a little brotherly competition!

Reid's First Day...

...of school was last Wednesday. He looks so big in these pictures! He had a fun day, and he did great!

Wednesday was also my birthday, so I had to get a shot with my boys that day. After I dropped Reid off at school, I had breakfast with some friends, ran an errand, and picked Reid up early so we could celebrate! We had a fun day!
