Happy Holidays

Family and Friends,

With so many things going on please forgive me I did not get out Holiday Cards, but we did want to wish all of you a Happy Holidays and hope you are all doing well.

This year has been a busy one for the Pikula family.  

We had Lily enter our lives in March, she is crawling and starting to babble a lot.  She loves her siblings and is just a happy happy baby.

Sarah started school.  She loves every minute of it.  She still does ballet and enjoys sharing her thoughts with anyone who will listen!

Kurtis was baptized in November.  He is growing so fast and loves science, math, and has really started to enjoy reading!

Amy is doing the normal things that a working mom does, nothing really new besides she is starting to run again and is working hard to get back to running like she used to before she had three kids in tow.

Derick left for his first deployment in November, he is adjusting well.   The rest of us love and miss him.  Hopefully he will be back when school starts next year in 2014.  If any of you would like his direct address to send him a letter, I know he would love more mail!

We have had a great year and can't wait for the future.

Halloween...

we did a few Halloweens...and we had two different costumes each!  Here are photos, it was so much fun!!

We enjoyed a wonderfully put together (thank you Serene) Tongan Party where we celebrated many things but among them was Sarah's birthday and Derick leaving us for a while.  Man those Tongans really know how to party!  It was a lot of fun!!

Family Trip 2

We went and enjoyed the day at the Zoo.  It was a bit breezy, and we took the kids out of school so the zoo was dead...surprisingly.  It was the perfect day at the zoo!  We saw tons of animals that we usually do not get to, and just laughed a lot!!  Here some top pictures from our trip.

Family Trip 1

The kids got to pick a few of the favorite places to go for extra special family trips!  The first one was SEA WORLD....which is always my favorite as well.  It was a fantastic day, a little over cast perfect for Sea World because then everyone stays away.  It wasn't crowded, the animals were out, and we were all very very happy!!  I put labels under ones that might need extra explanation.
