Getty Villa

Yesterday we had a fun day at the Getty Villa. It was beautiful and a great thing to do even though it rained in the morning! By the afternoon the sun was out and shining bright!! Thanks Anne and Zoie for inviting us to come along, and thanks for coming with us Serene!! We had a great time!

Our Little Artist

Kurtis has really started to enjoy drawing and is getting pretty good at it too. He loves to draw cars especially Herbie and his family. I was pretty impressed because it was the first drawing of his family we all had arms, legs, and bodies not just scribble. Here is some of his artwork.

Celebration!!

This week Derick and I celebrated our Anniversary, 6 Years!! I remember the special day like it was yesterday walking into the temple and seeing him standing there waiting for me as he would for the rest of his life! At least I can admit I am the one that is always late! I am very blessed to have him and appreciate all that we have been able to do together! Six years is just the beginning, Love you!

My hobby!

I hope that Erin does not check out my blog very frequently, hopefully I can deliver it to her this week!! Anyways, I have been working on my quilting skills and made this Noah's Ark quilt for my friends new adorable baby girl. I had fun doing it, and it was pretty quick and easy!!

Looks like I have a lot more to do with everyone having babies soon, Congratulations everyone (You know who you are)!

Rainy Day

Last week the weather was a bit rainy so we had to be creative and find things to do around the house. Kurtis taught me how to play hockey, his favorite part was "checking" me (I am learning lots of fun things that Kurtis and Derick used to do during the day!!), we made up an obstacle course for Speed Racer to race through, and then we made an entire playdough family. Simple things, but we had a ton of fun together!! Then we had a wonderful Sunday. Here are some updated photos:
