The past two weeks...

...in review!

We've had quite a busy couple of weeks!

The girls participated in a music camp and their performance was two Sundays ago. They did such a great job!  JK and LB both had speaking parts and worked with puppets at the end of the musical. AA had a small solo, which we truly enjoyed!  Billie's mom and dad were able to be there, so that was special as well!
Thursday the 31st was our sweet AA's birthday!  I can't believe this little thing is 9 already!!  She chose a Chinese theme for her dinner, so we delivered!
We spent last weekend in Dothan. The kids swam all day Saturday and spent Sunday morning in the water as well!  We are always so relaxed after a weekend with our besties!!
Today, EG lost another tooth!  I always loved it when the older three had both top teeth missing!

So that's the last two weeks in a nutshell!  We did manage to start school "officially" this past week...even though we never really stopped in the first place!  We start back to our co op classes in a week, and we're all excited about that!!

5 months...

...to Disney!!

This month's movie was "Wreck It Ralph".

The girls got into the cosplay for this one!  They did this completely on their own and had such a blast doing it!

What's on the menu?
Ralph's Junk Pile
Trapper's Root Beer
Vanelope's Race Car Builder (dessert)

This was a super fun theme dinner.  The girls had a blast making their Twinkie race cars for dessert!

4 months...

...until Disney!!

I can't believe we only have four months to go!  It's flying by!

For our movie night this month we chose "Wall-E". This is the most adorable movie!!

The menu:
Garbage Cubes
Wall-E
Eve's Burning Rocks
Fruit In A Cup
Wall-E's Compost Pile

We're almost to 100 days!  We may shoot to do a countdown chain...if I can get my act together and get it going!!

6 months...

...and counting!

This month's countdown movie was "Lady and the Tramp"!

What's on the menu?

Lady's spaghetti and meatballs
Tramp's breadsticks
Siamese vegetables
Jim's and Darling's gelato
Tony's sparkling cider (we wrote 'Antonio' for some reason...I guess we were feeling extra Italian!)

We drank out of the "fancy" goblets, which the girls loved!  We ate at Tony's Town Square in the Magic Kingdom in 2011, so this was a bit of a trip down memory lane for us!

Here's to 6 months left!!  We've been planning like crazy and we've finished designing all of our shirts for the week. There are around 32 of them that I will be working on...starting...I should've started last month!!  We will be making our ADRs (advanced dining reservations) on Tuesday, at the 180 day mark!

I'll do a "life" post soon!

The countdown...

...has begun!

In honor of our upcoming trip to Disney World, we had our first countdown meal!

We love our Disney movie nights.  We haven't had once since the summer, so it's time to start back up, and what better reason than to countdown to our trip?!?

Last night was "Frozen"...of course!  The bug has bitten the girls and they've watched the movie more times than I can count, but this was their choice for our first movie, so we obliged them!  (As an aside...they have also been informed of the fact that if I am unable to get a Fast Pass for Anna and Elsa, they will have to be content to wave at them in the parade.  There's no way that I am standing in line for 3+ hours to meet a character.  Nope.  I love my girls, but that's beyond my limit!  Moving on...)

Here's what was on the menu:
The Love Experts (meatballs)
Anna's Salad
Sven's Carrots
Elsa's Ice Cream Sandwiches
Olaf's Melted Ice (water)

We ate dinner picnic style in the living room while we watched the movie.

Here are some pics from our night:

We had a great time as a family, and look forward to our next "countdown to Disney World" movie night!

Here I go again...

...taking forever to update!  It's been pretty busy around here, which isn't abnormal.  We have settled in to our house, and finally finished unpacking boxes last weekend.  That's what happens when you move the month before Thanksgiving.

We have our spring break in a week, and will spend the two weeks purging the girls' rooms and doing some small decorating.

Here are a few pics of what's been going on since January:

We went to Dothan...

 We enjoyed some snow...
 We played Twister...
 We've been learning German...
We went to Dothan, again...and no, it was NOT warm enough to swim...but my children are nuts...
We have started our countdown to Disney World!  We told the girls last weekend that we were headed back to the happiest place on earth!  As of today, we are 8 months away and are in serious planning mode! We've been saving for a long time for this celebration trip and we can't wait!  Walt Disney World, here we come!

Our snowman...

...had a lot of fun last month!  Instead of the elf, we have a snowman named Oliver.

He was very busy...but not into too much mischief!
