Danny + Hari Raya = Joy

What a cracking pass few weeks.

Hari Raya never fails to bring a smile to my face.

It's the time where Muslims forgive and forget past mistakes, start afresh and reinforce relationships between one another.

Also a good time to catch up on old times. You know, young people are so busy with stuff these days, they don't even get to talk to one another in a long, long time.

(Hehe, I talk as if I'm so old. But then again, those bloody strands of white hairs on my head rebelling against my youth might have something to say.)

Which is unfortunate, really. I missed the times when me and my cousins would group up with each other and we'll talk about anything under the Sun.

*sigh*

As we become older, we tend to become more quieter and firm. We tend to be shy or feel awkward being around our long-time-no-see relatives.

I guess it's all part of growing up!

Growing up is something my mind sometimes have trouble doing!
Maybe that's why I still enjoy Hari Raya 2008 as much as I did back when I was a hypercharged kid back in the 90s.

I think I know why older people don't enjoy Hari Raya...because they have to fork out so much money to buy new clothes, cookies and most of all, to give to young people like us! Hahaha!

Not all young people though. Those still studying only!

Ramadhan teach us to let go of our temptations, be nice and generous. Must donate money to those in need. Must not be stingy and penny-pinching.

If Ramadhan teach us this lesson, then Hari Raya is remedial lesson! Hahaha!

So to those elderly people reading this and feeling sian during Raya season, please relax. Raya only once a year. Money one shot kena sweep like hell, but later in life, Insya'allah(God Willing) your children will pay back x 100.

Okay?! Hehehe.

I don't know how I would react during Raya season when I'm married and have children.

One thing's for sure, I would at least give my children $2.

Means if I have 1 child, he/she get $2.
If I got 10 children, they get $2 / 10 = $0.20 each.

Muahahahaha!

Not that I want 10 children.

Not that I can't. >:D

Have I ever mentioned how much I love children, in a non-pedophilic way?

Yeah, playing with my smaller relatives during Raya can be very fun!

Man that sounded so very wrong. Hahaha! But please take that sentence maturely, coz I lazy to rephrase it. Pui.

Bundles of joy, the whole lot of em'!

Argh, I want one too. :(

What really disappoints me about this Raya is the lack of pictures!!

Argh. Me. Hari Raya. Pictures. Only a few. SAD.

**** sia WtF was I doing.

Must wait one whole year to Raya again. That is what makes me sian to the core.

Hari Raya setahun sekali. Hari Raya only once a year.

WAHHH I wanna cry man! T-T

Ok, think positive. Still got a few more days. It warms my heart to see people still Raya-ing amidst all the busy-ness, school, work etc.

And even O' Levels.

Haha. Guess I could never get enough of this festive period.

When will I ever grow out of it?

Hopefully not next year!
