The Nightmare That Is MOL

Oh no, I ain't letting another month go "unblogged".

Right.

In courses that has any Math in it (in Ngee Ann), I'm sure you all have to go through....

MATHS ONLINE! (MOL)

For those of you who don't know, Maths On-Line is a school-operated quiz thingie for Ngee Ann students that lets you do math questions on a program.

You submit questions and you get stars as rewards.

Which end up as marks for your semester assessment.

I have to admit, it's great for revising stuff and learning concepts and practicing questions...

But sometimes it can be quite a nightmare.

Let me explain.

You've spent the past 15 minutes working on this question.
Your head aches trying to find the answer.
EUREKA!
Suddenly you remember the formula!
So you work it all out for another 15 minutes.
You've thrown your brain in the juicer for this one.
You input the answer and submit it for checking..

.....

To your surprise, it says your answer is wrong!
But your answer is exactly the same as the one they've put out!
No wait, you forgot to put brackets.
The system puts up a fresh new question for you.

You unleash your arsenal of swears and bad words.

Just another day of doing MOL.

I'm not criticizing MOL or anything, but sometimes our selfmade mistakes on MOL can be quite frustrating.

It's not something you would ask the Incredible Hulk to do. Or any girl during that time of the month.

It requires patience and a whole lot of listening during lectures, that's all. Haha.

But seriously guys, exams are coming so don't forget to do your MOL!

Okay, stepping away from school....

To football!

Anyone want a sure-strike 4D number?

0501.

As much as I hate to mention it, I really can't believe...

Arsenal got soundly beaten by Tottenham 5 - 1.
On a day when pigs flew, I signed for Arsenal and made Jessica Alba pregnant.

WtF man. I won't be as painful if it were Barcelona or AC Milan or something..

BUT OF ALL TEAMS, F***IN' SPURS? OUR FIERCE LONDON RIVALS?

Even though it's just a League Cup match, under no condition should Arsenal be beaten 5 goals to 1.

I'm disappointed but hey, Arsenal can give chance also right? =D

Watch out, Spurs. P.S: I planted bombs at your home ground.

First post of 2008!
Don't say I never update!
More to come!
