Snow, please.

Seasons greetings!

First, I would like to wish all my friends a Merry Christmas and have an enjoyable holiday!
I'm saying this with 17 minutes to Boxing Day. Hehe.

Well, it's December again, kids.

A time when I wished I was living in a cold country for a change.

What would Singapore be if it had snow?

Damn cool. Hehe.

We'll be having so much fun now! Let's look at the possibilities.

We don't have to pay $17 to experience indoors snow. It's outdoors and most of all, it's FREE....zing. =X

We don't have to go to Jurong to ice-skate. We can go down to any nearby longkang and skate our butts off! Or at least until you find yourself in the sewage system. And everything melts.

Then you'll be in deep shite. Hehe.

There will be so much more activities we can do. Instead of always football or cycling, I could be going like "WHO WANNA GO CCK PARK PLAY SNOW?!"

Ho Ho Ho boy, would that be fun!

Snowball fights or just lying in the snow and forgetting about how hot our fair country can be.

And we'll have scenes such as the ones below:

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. That could be me walking past those trees with...errrrr... TG. =)

*sigh* Hopefully I can experience snow for myself some day. NOT AT SNOW CITY, THANK YOU, but real life snow. I wanna experience the freezing temperatures and what it feels like to have natural air-con blowing on my face. I wanna see my own breath.

Heck, back when I was working at Giant, I went into this very cold room. And I saw my own breath. And I exclaimed "Hey I can see my breath!" to which my friend's face looked something like..

( = . = )

If I was living in anime, of course. Which I will speak of some other time. =D

Dear God, please make it snow in Singapore one day. And not like The Day After Tomorrow but more like Winter Sonata.

Just in case you're wondering, I've not watched the latter. Because love stories make me cry! No larhh, just joking.

Really. *flex bulging bicep*

EEEEEEEEEEEK BEETLE!

Okay, nonsense aside...I would really, really, really like it to snow here in good ol' Xin Jia Bo.

Though, I remember reading somewhere that it indeed has snowed in Singapore before.

But for only 3 seconds. Somewhere at Pasir Ris.

Not to get your hope levels down, but how the heck did someone know it snowed for 3 seconds or measure how long it snowed at all?

I wanna believe but after seeing people using the pavement to make omelettes, I'm suspicious about that piece of information. Okay, maybe not but you get my point.

It's so (buy) freaking hot around here.

The nearest thing to snow around I've ever experienced was at Yew Tee.

Foodcourt.
Dessert stall.
Ice kachang.

*sniff*

I hope the day comes, when I have enough money, I've accomplished the Hajj...

I'll bring my family to one of the Scandinavian countries in the Aurora season..

And hopefully experience snow and the beautiful Auroras at the same time.

It'll just be so damned awesome.

And come back to Singapore,

And eat ice-kachang,

And experience snow and Auroras at the same time, once again. *wink*
