The Legendary 2nd Post
Greetings!
Coming up this week: Tirade Against Bus Fares Episode 2!
Really, man. It's killing me.
Well, not actually me...my Mom pays for my bus fares.
But!
Sometime last week I tried to top-up my EZ-Link with NETS. It didn't work. I tried like 3 different machines. Conclusion - My bank account balance: $0.00
( By the way, all the money in my account belongs to my Mom coz I used up all the money to buy some guitar stuff )
Oh yeah, if you/I thought the $1.09 thing was bad...
Distance from house to Yew Tee MRT: 5 minutes walk / 1+ minute on bus 302
Cost of travelling that distance: Free / $0.67
$0.67 for a 1 minute bus ride? =O What a shocka!
You know what I'm gonna do?
Someday, I'll climb on board a 302, NOT tap my EZ-Link and proceed to deliver a speech ( about rebelling against the ridiculous fare prices ) so inspiring that everybody on that bus will jolt up from their seats and give me a standing ovation. Then I will hijack the bus, let everybody off and crash the bus at Choa Chu Kang Interchange ( jumping off the bus at the last minute Hollywood style, no wait, BOLLYWOOD style ) to get my point across.
HECK YEAH, THAT'S WHAT I'M GONNA DO!
Or you know what, I could just walk. -.-
So anyway...
I spent my last hour or so blogsurfing and on a tagging rampage. I found that I have a *profanity* lot to catch up on with me olde' mates back at Unity. I mean, I haven't seen some of em' since taking back our O' Level results.
How are you, my comrades? I hope you're all doing good and enjoying life! Oh, how I miss you all.
From secondary school right to our respective tertiary institutions, I have seen changes in all of you. Some good and some bad. Mostly good.
I hope I have changed for the better. It's been so long since I've written (typed) anything on this blog that I've not the words to catch up with all that's happening around.
You know, my one fear concerning friends is that I be forgotten or that I have not left a good impression on you. Really, I think about it all the time.
Well, emo-ing aside...
Guess what me and Cellie found on our way home from school yesterday...

These poor puppies. =(
It's a mix of delight and pity, really.
I've found boxes with kittens, boxes with baby rabbits but never puppies in the grass.
What kind of monster would dump these two adorable little critters to fend for themselves?
Never heard of the SPCA?
I wish I could take them home, but besides my really jumpy Mom ( gains ability to stick to walls and ceilings when in the presence of virtually any furry animal ), being a Muslim, I can't touch dogs ( at least their noses ) because errrr......don't ask me, I ain't no cleric.
When I came home today, they weren't there.
I REALLY hope some kind soul out there found them and brought them to a nice shelter...not some bored guy with a meat cleaver, or a guy who hates dogs and owns a chainsaw... or some clumsy guy wearing golf cleats...
Well, can't put all available material in one go, bye for now!
( This post was saved on Saturday, and continued on Tuesday. Yeah, that is some wicked lag! )
