it's the start of yet another week. today was quite ok. time passed quite fast as i had work to do. managed to get some slots to test some of the samples. it's quite time consuming but it's quite easy to do since i repeat it almost every week.
comtemplating whether to continue my current project for my fyp under my current ia supervisor. anyone has any suggestions for me? seniors' advice are most welcome! haha....
tmr (tuesday) do not have any bsf class. like something is missing. although i just joined bsf this year, it's like been part of my schedule already. used to the routine of eating dinner with ym, then go to bsf class after that on every tuesday for the past 1 month or so. haha....
wed: there will be ntu band prac. though it's the last 2nd before the band breaks for exams. it's like damn sian without practice lah. definitely looking forward to it. i wonder how many people will turn up.
thurs: the day before good friday. there's a term for it but i forgotten it already. will be going to church for some service at 1930 hours. it's supposed to be a service to trace Jesus's last steps to Gethesemane (i hope i got the spelling correct!) and help us recall the last moments of Jesus before He died for us on the Cross on Good Friday.
fri: good friday. a public holiday. which means i can go home on thursday! KS having chalet... so tempted to go but then there's a service on at 8pm.
sat: last practice before exam break. ks no prac. but they having the BBQ. wonder should i go down after my ntu prac. should i?
sun: Easter Sunday. My church kids are singing! hope they will have fun.
haha... that's the whole week's schedule. quite boring. nothing interesting or anything new. can someone add some sparks into my life? hahaha.........

Luke 15:11-24 The Parable of the Lost Son
The Parable of the Lost Son
11Jesus continued: "There was a man who had two sons. 12The younger one said to his father, 'Father, give me my share of the estate.' So he divided his property between them.
13"Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. 14After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. 16He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
17"When he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men.' 20So he got up and went to his father. "But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
21"The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.[a]'
22"But the father said to his servants, 'Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let's have a feast and celebrate. 24For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' So they began to celebrate.

it is a striking resemblance to what is happening right now. the only question we have to find an answer to is when will he come to his senses?

it's thursday. one more day to the weekend. i feel really bored without band practice. that's practically how daniel leads his life. no other social life except going for band practices. band's having a break now (for 2 weeks somemore) so i will feel bored for 1 more week. arghhhhh... any bands i can play in? haha....
lunch time now... super duper sian. super duper demoralising when the experiments i'm conducting keep on failing. argh....
certain things are best left as it is. certain things are best left unsaid. take care everyone

A timely reminder
today's Our Daily Bread is really a timely reminder to me. what is it all about? to lead a life of complaints-free and to trust God completely. The following is taken direct from there.
How can we learn to develop a noncomplaining, positive attitude that will please the Lord?
• By disciplining our thoughts (Rom. 12:2). We need to meditate on Scripture and remember our blessings.
• By confessing our critical spirit and committing ourselves to obedience each time we fail (1 John 1:9).
• By enlisting God’s help and the help of others. The Spirit will empower us as we depend on Him (John 14:26). — Anne Cetas
We should all work towards it!! Have a great week ahead!!
