a sunday morning in school. for what? nie band. ha. met up with yn for some breakfast before heading over to their band prac. only one more sunday that we need to be in school for band prac. ha. jiayou.

after band prac went over to yingxuan's bd party. 21st! thought i was going to be the latest since i left school at 1. but who knows, i was the earliest to arrive among my gang of friends! she invited many people but most of them i do not know! hahaha.... the party was good with good food n good talking cock session. ha.

ha.. a monday morning. last night was trying this mechanics of materials tutorial after having some rum raisins chocolates. ha. how potent is that chocs mann! i wonder how many % rum is inside cos i felt drowsy after eating only a small piece of it! ha. or maybe it's because i slept only 4 hours on sat night? anyway, the chocs was nice!

talking about the tutorial, the questions are almost the same but then... there are super duper many things n forces to solve for! ha. tough one.

monday. friday is the band chalet! hurray!! ha... it's been a really long time since the band got together like this. let's party mann!!

adopting the must-do-it style of doing things for all things except...... that thing ... cos dun know how to do it!

sat. the end of a week. let's see. this week. fairly good i suppose. no major hiccups. no band practices(though it's like a bit empty with band prac). managed to stay abreast of my work. managed to understand what the hell is going on in ms2008 which is good. haha...

nie band prac yesterday. cock-ups. ha. no instrument to use so had to use nie's. misses my own instrument. it just feel so different. ha. n i feel so totally unprepared for nie concert. n it's coming soon. real soon. it's even worse than our own band concert. how how ? russian reportoire.

dun be distracted by other stuff! i need to work super duper hard this sem to pull up my GPA! have to use this sem cos the modules are more relaxed(according to those group b people). work hard!!!

aunt from china left already. so i get to sleep on my own bed once again! ha.... it just feels so good on my own bed. ha..

still considering whether to go back tonight or tmr for nie band practice. it's from 10 to 1. ahhh..~

sojourn over

sojourn is over! phew... a relief on one hand. thanks clarinet section for the participation this concert. lots of fun we had that it will always be remembered. what's next? very afraid that people will start leaving n then i will have attendance problem again. dun leave!

haha.. tired from one concert but the next concert is coming up really soon. NIE band concert on the 10 feb. haha.. russian music. difficult.

long long long time

it's been days since i blogged. just finished reviewing this online lecture of mine. ms2008. what's it about? electronic, optical n magnetic properties of materials. it's super chim. didn't understand it during the lecture so that's why quickly review it. now that i reviewed it, it's making a bit of sense to me. wah lau.. i dun want this subject to break my record. i dun want to fail this module!!

it's one day before concert. friday already. many things done n many more things undone. many things had happened before the start of school till now. like what yt said, after 20th, things may change. many people said they are going to leave. how how ? clarinet section is going to be pathetic. no .. i dun want that.

just realised it's been a long time since i blog. school started. actually it's like one week already. been having band practices 3 times a week which is like in preparation for the upcoming concert. i dun mind so many times cos band is like really fun. but ticket sales is really tough. no one seems to want to go to band concert. maybe we dun play appealing pieces? ha...

electives choosing is really sucky. on one hand thinking of clearing my UE n AHSS requirements n on the other hand feel like continuing my minor. got until next week to make a decision haha...

today went for tuition. on the ride there, met many friends. haha... was with this group of MSE friends then met serena there. she was alone so she sat with me. then i met two more friends. ha... in the end it was like the whole row was ours! haha.. interesting.

electronic magnetic n optical properties of materials look tough. a 2 hour lec. seriously have to do some serious studying now. FOCUS!

woke up this morning by a phone call. father called in regards to my little cousin samuel. i can't understand why someone other than his own biological father can be so anxious about his condition. i mean, his own father dun seem to give a damn about his son (i mean sam). in fact after all these years, to me, i dare to say he's the most stupid uncle among all. all the trouble among the Lee family seems to be caused by him n his stupid-n-idiotic ex-wife; the demise of my late grandmother was partly his ex-wife fault.

to me, all his actions seem to be just a act. not coming from his heart. in fact, he seems to favor his elder son more than samuel. that's why i'm so protective of sam. that's why i'm always getting into trouble with my own father cos my father sides with his own younger brother. i do not care. i dare to say then i do not fear punishment. what can u do to me? i'm already so old already. still want to beat me? i can retailiate. try me if u dare.

i hate to look down on people cos it's not my style but i think u can be the first. all of your brothers n sisters' families are so intact n all the children grew up without much hiccups. only u n your so called family. look around u. many other people also marry women from china n they have no problems with them. only yours have so much problem. the wife or the man? i would tend to think both cos birds of a feather flock together.

now there r plans to bring samuel to see the doc for hyperactivity. i pray that nothing bad will come out of it. he is so poor thing, having enduring broken limbs at a tender age of 7 weeks n stuff like that. blame it on who for his situation? the child or the father? a broken family is not the best environment for a child to grow up in. acts of violence is etched in his young mind. how to erase that?

today is registration day but i have to shift band instruments from nanyang house to nanyang audi. so getting joanne to help me to register. haha... thanks thanks. but dun forget hor. if ya forget then that's it liao. dun have modules to study. haha....

holidays r coming to an end. how fast one month flies. lots of things happened. lots of friends made n friendships strengthened. concert preparations r really stressful.

details of the concert are as follows. sojurn 2007 at vch 20 jan 2007. ntusb will be performing( of course rite). tickets are at 10 bucks. u can get it from me ( i hope u do get it from me but as long as u come, that's all right too!). reportoire is as follows: we will be opening with this really nice march piece entitled Under the Flag of Glory. then after the soldiers march past, (haha) it will be followed by the all time favorite piece El Camino Real (Alfred Reed). the rest of the pieces are Spartacus Suite (a transcribed piece n it's really really nice), Symphonic Songs for Band n the last piece for the night is Whatsoever Things ( a piece in memory of someone but i can't really remember who... haha).

The concert will be good so people, friends, instructors, pls come for ntusb sojurn 2007. tickets on sale now. get them fast before they r sold out! oh... the tickets r really really nice too. so be sure to buy one so that u can keep the ticket stub as a souvier too.


i have decided to go ahead with the plan. wish me luck.

yanting says i dun blog much. ha... it's all due to my hectic schedule. work work work. seems that i'm busy the whole year round. but i gave up some tuition assignments already. so next sem i would have more time n maybe more time to do the things that i like. n of course to concentrate on my studies.

fireworks

band camp ended on sunday which happened to be the new year's eve. so we decided to meet to watch the fireworks. ironcially, it's my first time watching fireworks with such a big group of friends. n it's quite interesting. it's quite pretty. watched it at esplanade there. we thought we were going to be late cos we parked the car quite far away(@kallang riverside park) but we still managed to be on time.

can i watch fireworks with u every year? haha...
