Valentines Day and other fun things in February

Logan and I made hearts and wrote little messages on them to give to people.

We left one on Daddy's pillow

Logan taught me a much needed lesson about loving yourself. He insisted on putting one on his own pillow.

..and his little sister got the crumpled heart. Crumpled with love, right? :)

Look at that squishy face! (notice his favorite things under the tv in the background)

Dan brought me tulips one day in February when I thought I was going to go crazy being cooped up in the house all day because of the freezing weather. It gave me some hope for Spring which, in fact, did eventually arrive.

We visited Dan's sister, Charlene, in Vegas during that month. I can't remember why. They had just bought a house and were finishing the backyard with an amazing pool, jacuzzi, trampoline, and sand box. This is when it was a work in progress..

.. and this is my HOTT husband

This was a MONUMENTAL day! The weather was a little warmer and we were able to go on a short walk! It was glorious.

A few days later it was even warmer and Logan really wanted to ride his bike that had been sitting outside all winter.. so we washed it. And he loved it.

I found him like this one day.

Build-A-Bear

For Christmas, my parent's gift to all of us was a family vacation to Bear Lake next summer! To get everyone excited, they went with the "bear" theme and gave all of the kids bear-themed books on Christmas Eve, and showed a video of where we'll stay.

Another part of the gift was taking the kids to Build-A-Bear, which we got to do this weekend. The kids loved it!

Sweet little Anna. This girl's eyes are amazing!

Getting ready for the fun! You can tell Dan is ecstatic.

Picking out sounds.

Filling up their bears.

Look at that cute face!

Audrey was so excited to have her blue bunny and blue dress "match," haha.

The Preggo!

Pushing the pedal to fill her bear.

Blake and Ryan fit right in.

Oh the life of a baby.

Giving their bears a shower.

Love.

Claire had a little bonding moment with Sarah. It was so cute!!

Sarah is showing us her tie-dye/Brave bear. Isn't it beautiful?!

Now Logan wants in.

Every single kid sat perfectly still for a FEW minutes. I don't think that's ever happened.

Now we just need to get them all to smile at the same time.

They had everyone put their hands on their heart and say a cute poem at the end. As you can see, Logan didn't have the patience for it.

Logie loves his doggy.. and Claire's "Claire-bear" too. He slept with both of them that night.
