One Month

Logan turned one month old on the 17th! He is growing up so fast :)
His favorite things to do are:
Grunt, grunt, and grunt some more (awake and asleep).
Suck on his pacifier, his hands, or anything else he can get his mouth on.
Look at the black, white and red paintings that are hanging on our wall.
Dan claims that Logan loves to watch Discovery channel with him.
Take warm baths.
Eat.
Sleep.
Poop.

Here are a few pictures we captured on our phones from the last week or two. They aren't the greatest quality..

Snoozing away... he was most likely grunting at the time.

Here is another sleeping picture.. these are the rare times he isn't swaddled while taking a nap. I love how his hands are always by his face whenever he gets the chance to put them there.

My favorite parts of the day are when I'm trying to rock him to sleep and he just stares at me with those big eyes.

Tummy Time!

I was trying to take a cute picture of him and it turned out like this.. I thought it was hilarious!

No matter how cold he is after a bath, as long as he has his pacifier, he's a happy boy!

This post is dedicated to miss Mya Kate because she gets the most excited to see her cousin "Baby Yogan." Here she is holding him for the first time.. he is almost as big as she is!

 

What a Wonderful Time of the Year!

These last two weeks have brought some exciting events..Logan being born, Byron (Dan's brother) and Tracy getting married, and of course, Christmas!

Logan has been such a blessing! Even though waking up every 3 hours at night to feed him, changing endless diapers, and getting spit up on after every feeding aren't the funnest things to do, there is nothing more rewarding than being the parents of such an amazing little boy. He only cries when he's really hungry or really cold while changing his clothes, and although he doesn't realize it, he gives us lots of smiles which totally make my day! The biggest Logan trademark is his grunting. I have never heard a baby grunt so much in my life! It is so dang cute!

He loves being swaddled, but if we don't do it tight enough, we wake up to find that his hands somehow made it up to his face..he looks pretty happy about it too!

On Christmas Eve we had fun with the family at my parent's house..

Wedding time! Byron and Tracy were married on December 29, 2010. I was pretty nervous about how Logan, being 12 days old, would do throughout the day, but it turned out really well! Tracy was beautiful and it was fun to hang out with family and friends.
