Our Crazy Lives
Daniel graduated from UVU this December with his bachelors in Biotechnology. It has been nice having him home more. He has put all of his applications in for Grad school and has already had an interview with BYU for their Molecular Biology program. He applied to the U of U for their bioengineering program. The U would be our number 1 pick, BYU number 2 pick. He also applied to UTSA (University of TX San Antonio). We consider that the back up plan for now. I am so proud of all his hard work. He has been working and going to school our whole marriage. It is nice he gets a short break before school will start again hopefully in August.
I just got a promotion at work and moved from Customer Service Receptionist for Myriad Genetics Labs to a Patient Service Coordinator. I get to coordinate testing with doctor offices and insurance companies to make sure the patient gets appropriate testing and has coverage for their testing. It is going to be a great adventure and I am learning and growing a lot, plus I am in customer service, which I love. There is nothing better than helping people have a better quality of life.
The topping on the cake is that with all this going on we found out that I am PREGNANT. We are so excited to have the little bundle of joy join our lives. All I can say is that that things have been crazy but Heavenly Father knows what he is doing. I am due Aug 18th. I am now 14 weeks and have been feeling better. The 1st trimester was quite a challenge with nausea and being oh so very tired. I have more energy now and am not as sick. I still have moments, but it is not constant all day. Yay for nausea medication it helps so much!
I have been lucky. My sister, Lindsey is an ultrasound tech and has been required to practice for a special scan so I have been able to have her scan me a few times in the past weeks. So I have some pictures of our cute baby that likes to move a lot.

Ready for Winter!
The big snow storm last week (No, not the over-hyped “blizzard”; the one before that.) literally turned our backyard park into a winter wonderland. So… naturally, I couldn’t pass up the chance to get out at dawn to get some photos.
Needless to say, I am very excited and ready for winter to come!

Halloween 2010
Every Halloween, Daniel’s family carves pumpkins. Here is our pumpkin for this year!
Daniel and I went to a fun Halloween Party. Daniel made his costume. He won the costume contest. I was a witch.
It is a Craven Family tradition to have homemade chili and breadsticks on Halloween. My family was out of town so I made it myself. I had fun doing it and it made it feel more like Halloween.
