Where do I start

Okay so I am back to Reese's B-day one year later WOW....I am grateful for people that blog I enjoy reading about people's happy times, triumphant moments and also their trials as they raise children and also just deal with life in general. I have never been good about keeping a journal I have always struggled with it and to me this is like writing in a journal. I am going to try and do better, I have realized I am a work in progress I cannot expect to do everything right. Here is my attempt I have taken some pictures over the last year and tried to put at least one up from every month. Towards the bottom it gets a little mixed up but oh well if I was to have to start over I probably would have waited another year before I posted again.

Happy Birthday Reese

Daniel wanted to make Reese a Monster Truck for his B- Day so he asked Reese to pick out his favorite Monster Truck and this is the one he brought us. So with some creativity and a couple of man hours Daniel and I managed to make Reese his very own Donkey Kong Monster Truck B-Day cake and boy was it worth it when he came into the kitchen and his eyes lit up and he was amazed.

So there are Some People who SHOULDN"T have a BLOG I am one of them!!

Okay I know I am horrible at posting on this blog but I promise I do take pictures throughout the month her is my proof.

Coy looks a little scared to tell you the truth I don't blame him.

Learning how to ride it all by himself.

Okay so some of you out there are saying what are you doing to your children or at least your boys... Honest I had nothing to do with this I came in the living room to find Reese in a halter and Coy covered in glitter lets just hope for Coy and Reese's' sake if I have another baby it is a girl.

I was laughing so hard when I saw all the glitter Olivia managed to spread over his face. He was happy though.

He is such a good baby I love his smile and excitement.

Lets just call this picture a RARE MOMENT.

Coy just chillaxing at the Zoo.

Ooh Look at the scary Lion.
Pretty "Liv" on the Zebra.

We took the light rail to the D-Backs game "Fun Times."
Coy thinking he is neat stuff hanging on the pole.

UPDATE
Special for Sam... Thank you for your Prayers!!!

Reese's finger where do I start it looks very good compared to what I thought it would look like. This picture was right before he was going to have surgery. He had surgery on September 9th and got three pins put in place and the doctor re sutured the cut to make it look a little better (and he really did a good job). He kept the pins in place for three weeks and it managed to heal very quickly. It is a work in progress and we have taken him to physical therapy and continue to work with him to regain mobility in the tip of his finger. Thanks again for all those who have cared and prayed for him.
Right before he was going to have the pins taken out.

The Camping Trip Motto "I Can't Take Anymore."

The Happy Camping Family...!!!!

This picture Daniel was trying to figure out the night vision setting on the camera.

I love how Olivia is posing.

Change of Plans...Our new Sleeping headquarters... The hospital floor!

So you are probably wondering why we are not posing in front of the fire. Well here's the story Reese was walking with a rock or without a rock it is still unknown but he tripped on a stump in the ground and the next thing you know he is crying and Daniel yells "Is that Blood!" Sure enough it was so I grabbed Coy from Daniel and we both looked down and there it was, his finger was bleeding like crazy and dangling so in my craziness I took Coy to his car seat grabbed the shovel next to the fire and tried (key word here tried) throwing dirt on the fire because all that was blinking in my head was the sign I saw while driving to the Campsite WANTED: YOU'RE CAMPFIRE DEAD OUT. I ended up banging the shovel on the ground a few times and then I heard Daniel yell come on lets go. So off we went down the dirt road at high speeds with a lot of bumps, brakes, elks and only a few whines. Reese was such a good boy he was much stronger than I would have been. Well we made it to the hospital in record time. Once there the doctor came and saw his wound and with a lot of waiting they told us we would need to see an orthopedic surgeon down in the Valley and wondered if we wanted to take an ambulance well we voted against the ambulance but with so many of ours and your prayers. They ended up sedating him and putting in some stitches and gave us information about where we needed to take him once we got to Mesa. Well with a lot of driving by Daniel he went back to the campsite and got our stuff and then drove us to the Orthopedic Doctor in Mesa. The final diagnosis was he basically crushed the tip of his finger and fractured the middle section and then of course cut it really bad. The good news he did not need surgery we will find out on Monday if he does because it was to swollen to see how it was facing and if the bone rolled but if not he is on his way to recovering this crazy freak accident.

Reese getting ready for the stitches. Here is another story of why our our motto for this camping trip (if I can even call it that) is "I CAN"T TAKE ANYMORE" Well while they were examining his finger he started yelling out the Motto and repeating it over and over. The phase "I can't take anymore," does sound vaguely familiar and with some help from Daniel we discovered that say it all the time. Well the doctor laughed with Daniel and as he walked out of the room he said I will let you both have a little bonding moment. So yes I think now that this weekend is almost over I can say "I CAN take more than I thought." I have really never had an experience like this and don't want a lot of them but it does strengthen you and helps you to rely on the Lord and has and will help me to have a greater understanding of the atonement.
