叶问 2 (Ip Man2)

As a martial arts pratitioner, and a Donnie Yen's fan, there's no way that I can miss the movie- Ip Man 2.
It is not just about the martial art that Ip Man practiced (Wing Chun), the concept of the movie is more about respect and unity of family.

This semi-biographical martial arts film tells about the life of Wing Chun Grandmaster's life - Ip Man (叶问). And of course, Ip was aslo the celebrated kung fu master of Bruce Lee. The promotion of chinese kung fu spirit in this film is notably strong.

Oh well, those action scenes were awesome and I can't even blink theoughout those scenes!

I'm glad that the director could find someone to act as the young Bruce Lee. That kid who acted as young Bruce Lee was cute and the way he depicted Bruce was awesome due to the confident and arrogant personalities of Bruce that the kid showed in the acting.

So, for my personal rating for this film, as a martial art action movie genre, 8/10 is the kind of result I will give. An awesome one.

Well, this is Ip Chun, Ip Man's elder son. In the movie, Ip Chun was still a young boy.
Ip Chun is now 86 years old.

Hard to get shredded abs.......

Gymnasium, one of my favourite places on earth. Started my workout when I was form 5 (although I started earlier, but that doesn't count due to my laziness).
Gaining muscles is not my current problem. My problem is, not burning enough fatty layers to reveal my abs (6-packs). I realised that working hard enough in the gym doesn't help me to get shredded and ripped if I don't mind my diet.

Next target(s): Bigger deltoids (shoulders' muscles) & Shredded abs. Within 2 months. Gonna watch my diet, reduce calories intake, do more cardio excercises, do more crunches and drink more whey protein shakes.

Spare tyres

Most of the car on the road have their spare tyres. Is normal right? But I bet you have it too. Yes I mean you, not your car. (Or maybe not you but your friends). Spare tyres for cars are good and safe but face it people, yours are unhealthy and is not safe at all.

Fat that collects around the abdomen has dangerous implications for our health such as raising blood pressure and rising cholestrol level. Malaysia, a country with diverse cultures and foods. I, myself enjoy the process while eating food, and I bet you do too. Well, would you feel guilty after eating whole bunch of them (foods)? Especially at late night?

The problems for most Malaysians are:

1. Eating too much in a single meal.

2.Don't have any idea about the nutrition content of what they eat.

3.Greed over food.

4 Don't like physical exercises.

5. Supper

Okay, first thing first, eating too much in a single meal is not rare anymore. You can see it almost everywhere in Malaysia. Some people just can't control their "input",then eventually suffer from fullness of their stomach. Not everyone's metabolism rate is high and ables to digest food in a quick manner. This problem might be the source of problem number 3: Greed over food.

Admit it, when you're having a 3 hours buffet, I bet you take quite a lots of food in one plate. Then you will look at the time (oh snap, I have another 30 minutes left)  and stuck all the food into your mouth, right? If that's not the case, good for you =)

One thing I wanna tell you here is, we pay to enjoy food, not to make ourselves suffer because of food. Have a light meal, and you will feel better and enjoy life more.

Alright, on the other hand, please buy some health megazines or borrow it from your friends and read it! Please don't eat whatever you like because of their taste and have no idea of the food's nutrition value. Me as a chinese, don't really like to consume rice. Although it is a traditional food and a so called necessity (by our elders), I don't care about what others say when I abandoned rice in my diet. Dude, rice content plenty of carbohydrates, it will convert to simple sugar for energy and sometimes we don't need that much. Carbs gives us energy for physical work. The best time to consume carbs in a day is at the morning. I repeat, morning, not night! This is simply because we don't do lots of physical works at night, we're normally go to sleep few hours after our dinner.

Some people can't live without rice (they told me about it). Human is a habitual animal, once you used to rice, doesn't mean that you can't live without it. Not eating rice is a habit too. Yes, I tell you not to eat much doesn't mean that you can't have it at all in your diet! Oh ya, consuming too much carbs can make you fat, i mean literally fat. And consuming high level of carbohydrates will increase the risk of developing heart diseases, especially for women. (those experts say)

Okay, before I come to an end of this post, the last thing here is about physical exercises and stop the habit of having supper. Come on people, I know you like to eat but please do some exercises too. Is about balancing your body anyway. Just by doing it 30 minutes a day is good enough for you to maintain that healthy body. And of course you know supper is unhealthy, so stop it before your spare tyres get bigger which makes you looks like Michelin. (You know who right?)

Michelin, I mean not the baby in the pic! duhhhh.

Lonely... or maybe not?

Being home alone wasn't a good idea. Look, I live with my brother and he goes to school every day time and he goes tuition almost night times. So, hell yea, I will be talking either to the mirror or the wall. (oh pls, i'm not a psycho).

Most of the time I'm alone you see. Some people just ask me why don't I go out and find friends since you have a car. I TELL you why then. I won't simply spend my money because of I'm feeling bored or something.

Mom, dad & sis live at another house which is not far away from mine (seriously, not far). Well, parents are busy with their business and sis is busy with her.... er... assignments? I have no freaking idea what is she up to somehow. She can be emotional and sometimes her mood changes til she freaks me out.

My first semester's final exam has just over not long ago. Before that exam, I was studying and revising like nuts. Just for that particular 3 hours exam (for 1 subject).... or maybe, I need to be more optimistic and think for my degree and sacrifices all my energy and attention on those subjects. Oh ya, it's over, so, what's next?
HOLIDAYS of course. I tell you what, I have no plan except of working out in the gym harder and figure out what to do next.

You may think that i'm weird but seriously, holidays didn't bring me happiness or excitement. Maybe the function of holidays is just to let the students rest from their semester studies and let those lecturers to mark our exam papers. (how sad)

Ohhh, one more thing, some of my friends (don't really know them and they like to judge a book by its cover). Keep on mentioning about a good looking guy should get a girlfriend. Obviously i'm not good looking, but hey, who the fu*k cares about your fu*kin relationships when there are plenty useful things for you to do?

Sorry for all those rude things up there. Sometimes, people just need to express whatever you think they need to be tell and no need to keep inside one's heart. Well, finding your love one is part of your life right? Being single or in a relationship doesn't make things change (i think). The Earth will still turn slowly and things on earth will til move on and functioning as they used to be.

Maybe I'm not still so lonely after all.

Cold

It has been many days that I didn't update my blog. No, i'm not lazy nor bored of blogging.
Things are getting "fine" and i hope for a better tomorrow.

Oh yes, Happy Chinese New Year people =) ...How's everyone's CNY going? Let me know by leaving a msg on my chatbox will ya? =P

Well, mine is kind of cold, like what some of my friends say, don't have the "feel" of it =S

I went back to Bidor, Perak at the first day of CNY, then came back to K.L at night after reunion dinner with gradpa, grandma and relatives. Gosh, the weather was hot and humid. To be honest, I felt like going back after I stepped in to my grandma's house. Not that I don't like to see my grandparent, or don't wanna be with them, the problem was, the house was like a life-size oven! Imagine that you stay in an oven for half of the day. =(

Alright, other than that "oven" issue, I guess ang pow is the only thing that keeps me alive through now... haha.. no doubt, some uncle and aunties just gave their ang pow way too serious.. lol.. The figures of RM is getting huge compared to last 2 years plus today is not the end of CNY yet, awesome huh? =P

However, thank goodness for some friends for organising some CNY parties that allowed me to spend some time with them and had fun chit-chatting and gambling =X

Well, today is not the end yet (I mean CNY), but Mid-term examination, assignments' deadline and presentation are keep bugging me in my head, can't really sleep through these days. Maybe I should feel grateful that my wish came true, since last year, I wished that I would like to have a busier year. And hell yes, here it is. =/

May God bless the January intake students.

There were so many surprises these days in the college which i recently enrolled to. Surprise in the sense of the continuation of changing of time table slots. Postponed to here and there. Making me frustrated somehow, well, one of my buddies just told me to be calm and he said the worst is not yet to be discovered and this is just the beginning of your life in UCSI. Hallelujah.

Walking up and down, from block to block, floor to floor, and thank goodness that I have trained well and my stamina didn't betray me when I need it. Maybe things will be better if they improve their management skills?

Holy cow, i just attended the most relaxing tutorial class today (I guess). Economics tutorial's questions were kind of easy and they are all straight foward although I got only 2 wrong out of many of them. Maybe I was a Cambridge A-Levels student, things are kind of easy in foundation. Of course, if you be over-relaxed, mistakes will finally find you on your door step. So, is time to be serious again, and work things out like I used to be. =)

Planning to join badminton and dodge ball in the upcoming sport event, but afraid that the time crashes with my lessons' time. WTH, their bloody management problem really added some weights of worries above my  shoulders, even I need to worry about lessons' time when I wanna join some events. =.=
