THE PACK ON THE ROAD!

After all the hoomans ate the bird, mommy and daddy packed up the Green Machine and we hit the road. I was pretty excited and paced around a lot. Then we got to a really big lair and settled down. Mommy told me I had to be quiet, but there were too many new smells and sounds to sleep, so I made sure mommy and daddy felt safe by giving them a warning bark every hour. This did not make daddy too happy.

The next morning daddy got bizy packing up the Green Machine.

Mommy and I greeted the other pups. The lair we slept at lets furries stay for FREE! Mommy liked that. Be sure to visit when you are traveling. La Quinta
This time we were on the road for a long long time. I kept asking "Are we there yet" and they kept saying "NO! Go to sleep". So finally I laid down and relaxed.

Finally mommy announced " WE ARE HERE!"

The Victorian Inn ? They greeted like the Princess I am. With lots of attention and treats. Even the manager came out to greet me and gave me a big green treat!

Then she said because I was the big winner, I got an even better treat. A pull toy! I can wait to play tug with daddy!

The first room we went to had hard floors. Mommy asked if we could change rooms since I would slip and slide on them, and may hurt them. But they sure were pretty. Mommy wants to stay in one of those rooms when there isnt a furry with her. Then we got to our room. Mommy said it was very Ellee Gant. I dont know who Ellee is, but I liked it too. We could even hear the water dogs barking from the big water bowl outside.

Later we went for walkies. This is the place where mommy goes in and out of big rooms handing over paper to people, while daddy and I wait for her outside.

I stand at attention and keep a close eye out for her. Even when lots of people come to visit The Princess, I keep on alert and watch to make sure mommy is safe. Not until she is safe by my side to I allow anyone else my attention.

This time daddy went into a room. It smelled really good. He said he was getting us a treat. We all got some chocolate goodies. Mommy wants everyone to know, that I get "special" chocolate, safe for doggies.

Then we went back to the room to settle down for the night. Awwww, my favorite spot!

The Princess!

THE PACK IS ON THE MOVE...

Yes, my furry friends, the pack is heading out tonite for our annual Mont her ray trip. This year mommy told me I had to earn my keep. So she sent in my pik chure for a contest and I won! I got us a FREE nights stay at our favorite Mont her ray hotel, The Best Western Victoria Inn. They spoil all furries there and even have special deals for the hoomans if they bring their furries with them. They even put my pik chure on their web site. Check it out here!

There are lots of things to do to get ready. This morning mommy gave me a bath. I was a good girl and stood still for the whole thing. Mommy and daddy even mixed in some hot water so it was nice and warm, to keep me from getting too cold. Mommy was worried I would be too cold if I didnt dry off fast enough, so she pulled out the nosy blow thing.I didnt like it at all. She kept pointing it at me, and I kept trying to get away. Finally she gave up and just gave me rubbies with a towel.
Then we had to pack my bag. Yes, furry friends, I have MY OWN SOOT CASE. Mommy says with me getting to be an old lady, we have to pack lots of things for pre cashions. After she was done, I had to inspect it to make sure everythere was there.
"Ok, I am ready to go. When do we leave?"
"What? We have to wait? "
Mommy says all the relatives have to come eat a big meal first! OK, I will be a good girl and go sleep in my safe place until it is ready to hop into the big green machine!

Night on the Town

Mommy and daddy wanted to run away from home, because they said a lot of little people would come knocking on the door asking for treats. So we all jumped into the Big Green Machine and ran away together.

First stop was for a treat for mommy and daddy. Daddy was really happy when he got the white cup in his hand. Then we went for walkies and sniffies. There were hoomans all over, dressed really funny. But I was too busy sniffing everything to be bothered with the silly hoomans. Even the little furries were wearing funny looking fur. I was admired a lot, and some hoomans called me a horse. I kept telling them I was not dressed up!
This is a place for furries downtown. They were just closing when we came by. Someone came to admire me, and she was holding a furry in her arms that was as little as my head. It stayed very quiet. Daddy said it was probably afraid of me.

After that, we went to a really yummy smelling place. Mommy said the sign read "The Stockade". So many good smells were coming out, I didnt want to leave. Even daddy was lingering a bit long. Mommy tried to take a pichure with the flashy, but she said it died. FINALLY... no more flashy's. I can be left in peace. We walked around, them stopped at another smelly place, while mommy and daddy ate some. I was so tired I laid at their feet. With amazement, mommy started feeding me some tasty meats. As long as I stayed laid down, she kept giving them to me. I think I will always lay down at their feet when we are out and about, especially if it gets me such tasty treats. She told me I was a very good girl, and she was very proud of me.
