Here is a bit of an interview from channel five. Could they have picked an uglier picture?
Today has been fun I had channel 2, 4, 5, and 13 interview me for the news and the Daily Herold. I was really nervous to do it because it really wasn't that big of a deal. They all called me today while I was at work, I looked like crap and they all asked to interview me. It was a little nerve racking because I had no idea what to say, but the best interview was channel 13 because they interviewed Dave. I love that they did, I can't wait to see his interview. This will be a fun memory.

I like to tackle!
So today was an interesting day. David, Nya and I were running around to different medical supply stores to look for a different splint for Nya's broken arm... story to come... so we thought there was one by the Macey's grocery store in Orem, which turned out to be a uniform store only. We got into the car and started to leave when David and I started to have a conversation about a car in a parking lot so Dave turned around to go back to it and then saw a kid running across a parking lot with a heavier older man chasing him. He said, "I think that kid just stole something." So I told Dave to get out and chase down the kid because that guy sure wasn't going to be able to catch him. He decided just to follow him in the car and as we were driving past the older guy I rolled down the window and asked the man if the kid stole something and he said yes. We turned onto state street where we could see the kid around the corner in a car dealership.
I yelled to the guy that the kid was around the corner and when that happened the kid started to run across the dealership and Dave pulled into it. As the car was slowing down I jumped out and ran over and tackled down the kid. It was hilarious, I started laughing it was so much fun. It felt like I was playing football. Then the heavy older man came and started to yell at the kid and so I walked back to the car. The cops came and so we started to leave when we could see the cops talking to another man that had seen what went down and they were pointing at me and saying I had tackled the kid. Dave was about to pull onto state street but rolled down his window and asked the cops if we needed to stay. They told us to come back and I went over to talk to them. They asked me if I was the one who tackled the kid and I told them yes and the police officers started to bust me. It was pretty funny and I did a bust explosion to one of the police officers just like we use to Kimmy. :) So they asked me what happened and I told them and they were cracking up. They said, we need to put in the paper petite woman tackles thief. And another police officer said I want to take your picture and hang it in the station and say if this little woman can run after and catch a thief you should get in shape so you can too. We laughed for a bit and they got my statement and then asked the kid what he had stolen. I thought it was an ipod because they had taken a pink ipod out of his pocket but it turns out all it was was one lousy can of pop. Silly boy. The people at Macey's were so pissed at this kid... one lady that worked there was apparently chasing this kid also but didn't get there forever and she was yelling at the kid about how they had cameras...blah blah blah. I thought they were really overreacting and actually felt a little bad for the kid. Stupid decision on his part, but it made for a fun day for us. Anyway I went to leave and one of the policemen came over to Dave and said, "Did you know what you were getting into when you married her?!" He told me thanks and we left. It was a lot of fun. Maybe I should become a cop. :)
