i was talking to my mum over the phone.. about my plans to go on exchange. to NUS. and she flipped. veryy badly. she was saying how it's sooo stupid to go back to singapore to study. and if i wanted to do an exchange, i might as well transfer over for good. okay. so end of conversation. so my other option was UCLA. i wouldn't mind UCLA.. because the weather in LA is ohsoamazing. and besides.. vinu might be thinking of heading that direction as well. so i'll have a friend. and we'll be partying all day (:. well i've gotta see how this year goes first.. if i score all H3s i obviously won't make it anywhere.

burr. these past few days have been a little cold. hence, i felt it was time for a little fall/winter shopping. spent like 600bucks so far on shopping alone. i may not be able to pay rent next month. hurr. but i seriously can't be bothered. vinu and i were thinking of GETTING A JOB. yes. GETTING A JOB. she was thinking freddos but i was thinking boutique. of course, we never everrrr get the job we actually want. well we'll see how things go...
partaye tomorrow night! at baroq again! it's anzac day on wednesday so i have the whooooole day to sleep/rest/slack. yayness. saturday night was fun.. it was sing's housemate's birthday house partaye. got pretty high & happy. met new people. awesomeness. sunday was such a random day. met up with vinu and moogs. had dinner.
omg like why isn't it JUNE yet?!?!??!

i totally needed to destress (what stress?) today. hence i spent 300bucks on really useless stuff. like lots and lots of leggings. and fullpriced sportsgirl stuff that would probably go on sale soon (sportsgirl ALWAYS DOES THIS TO ME!). i really want the katemoss stuff from topshop. so prettaye..but i'll have to wait. till like june! i hope it'll be affordable. well i doubt so!!!

gold coast photos! hmmm more to come. i've yet to get photos off rah, sings & vinu.. dadada it was my first time flying on a budget airline.. jetstarrrr. it's super budget i swear. i'm just not used to walking down a flight of stairs and walking like 200m more just to get from the plane to the terminal. well i had loads of fun. although i wasn't such a themepark person. i wasted 128bucks on themepark entrance fees! i loooooved the beach. it's funny how we would try standing firm while the waves hit us up down left right centree.but we'll all fall down. grae would roll all over occasionally. and then all the girls had to stand up and check if we flashed any part of our body. wavecrashing is a very demanding sport hor! hehh. yepps. and clubbing nights were quite fun. other than the fact that...we couldn't find an r&b clubbbb. omg it was trance like eeeverywhere. okay i can't wait for another vacation! (:

omg melbourne is the scariest place to be at night. on my tram ride home, i encountered at least 3 drunkards, 1 pervertic Vietnamese and 2 smelly homeless people. it's sooo scary! well....... not to mention the semi-flasher that terrorized my tram ride to uni a few weeks back. i dont wanna go into details.
hmmm.but melbourne rocks sometimes. like it gets to host the weirdest events. like the fina swimming world championships..talking about fina.. i love watching swimming championships! because i chance upon hotties like... PARK TAE HWAN!
ok u can't tell that he's hot here but.. he is! he really is!

i'm sunburnt! and hence i'm very unhappy. i'm itching and hurting all over! my chest is chao ta beyond recognition. and my forehead is blotchy and BLUSHER-red! i look appalling! this brand new look all thanks to the flare picnic @ carlton gardens last saturday. i had fun. but this whole sunburn thing is no fun. then we went over to sing's place for her housewarming. hence, the photos. we love wii bowling! but graeme and i apparently suck at it. claire & sarah's potato salad became some 'potato fusion surprise', but it was yummy nonetheless. i'm so impressed la.

madness.
i can never ever seem to be able to finish reading my readings on time. and also, i usually don't understand 70% of what it's trying to say. okay. not very good. maybe i shouldn't sleep so much. OMGOSH sometimes i feel that i've lost my ability to read!!!!! not good. i need to read. i need to read. i need to read. i can read. i can read.
assignments are due PREEETY soon. so maybe i should START doing them?

ahhh gotta drag myself out of the house by 7.30. vee and i are gonna manufacture yummy sandwiches for the flare picnic tomorrow! well, let's just hope they turn out edible first.

uni is such a bore yet it can be so much fun. well. without dance my life would be pretty unliveable (word?). considering the amount of essays & readings due in such a short period of time. i totally understand how vee felt. and feels. i absolutely enjoy my introtomedia and mediapolitics&society lectures. contemporary culture & media puts me to sleep. and management is dung! i swear. dung! i don't understand why we need a 2 hour lecture. and the worst thing of all is that.. the lecturer is worse than dung. shit i'm so blardy mean. but he really is BORING AS HELL :(.
ahh. assignments. i love the sound of it. seriously. i mean i got really excited initially. but then i stopped and thought about it.. erm 3 essays? or maybe 4? due in such a short period of time. okay maybe it isn't that exciting after all yeah. i love the feeeling of writing an essay and all. but i don't like the part where we have to meet the deadline. hahah. deadline. not a nice word! oh. for contemporaryculture&media, we're required to do a blogging exercise! yes sounds damn savvy and all. but trust me, it is NO FUN! well if my uni blog is decent enough, i will post the link here. but for now.. errr. i won't! well firstly because i havent set it up yet.
gotta rush out to the uni bookstore to go look for my contemporaryculblah reading pack. then hmmm. dance in the evening? then tim's bbq. then raimy's bday surprise on sat. followed by sammo's birthday dinner.
omg can people stop obsessing about their weight? it's annoying.

MY FIRST WEEK IN UNI:
i guess it was pretty enjoyable. considering the fact that i have people i know in all of my lectures. hence, i didn't have to feel all left out and alone. my media subjects are pretty interesting i must say! contemporary culture & media, intro to media & media,politics&society. they are soo similar that i have trouble distinguishing them apart. management is a bore. A BORE. tshhh. well i guess uni REALLY starts when the tutorials start..which is like next week. i hate making new friends, seriously. and besides i'm really happy with my current circle of friends... uh well there are a few exceptions but i won't talk about it. so yeah. unless someone comes along and says HI, i don't think i'll be making any new friends. because i'm too lazy to take the initiative to do so. gosh.i'm gettin old lah. hahahah. ohyess. 1 month until i turn EIGHTEEN. omg and why must there be soo many happening parties this month?! it's sooo cruel! bahh ohwell i'll see how. clubbing is getting boring. tshh i think the weather is PURRFECT at the moment. it's so cool yet sunny. and it hailed/snowed in canberra! omg imagine if it snows in melb. okay, i wouldn't like it actually. because i hate the cold. because i hate wearing winter apparel. because they make me look all fat & big & puffy. hence i wear summer clothes during winter. sue me! ha. well i depend on such a thing called.. layering. and i had my first taste of retail therapy TODAY! yes i finally shopped. after such a long timeeee! like 2 weeks. hmmm well shopping is getting kinda boring too! because everything looks the same to me. butttt. i prefer the fashion in aussie to the fashion in singapore though. i dont know why. everything's lounder & prettier here. the fashion in singapore's kinda like.. too safe? i don't know. like they sell the stuff and all. but how many people actually dare wear high-waisted skirts and pants out to schoool, work or blah (on a daily basis?). people will LOOK at you. i swear (in a weird way). i'm starting to talk weird. hmmmm ok my fingers are getting kinda sore i'll sign off now. byeeeeeeee.
