Here i am!
Reborn as a new working adult.
HAHAHA!
Due to a serious lack of sleep, i shall make this short and sweet.

Actually it's already my 3rd month into the job which i uh, kinda love and hate at the same time.
And with production coming up in about 2 weeks from now, the level of stress is rising exponentially!

I believe this i'll pull through this crazy period.

Cuticle gel.
Face masks.
(and many more which i can't think of right now)

Would be doing some eye treatment, which i am in serious need of.

Current Affairs.

Lately i haven't been a fan of the name "Justin".
I guess it's prolly due to The Hills.
Justin is being such a meanie, it's annoying.

Yeah, and i have officially reached a new low.
FINANCIALLY.
And i feel very awful leeching on BFF all the time.

Hmm, i'd say this weekend has been quite packed.
Thurday after work, was out with Z-kent and friends at the newly renovated Thumper.
It was nostalgic to be there once again.
But sad to say, most of the staff whom i always watched while they're working, are not there anymore.
I remember the year when i was 17 was the year when i was there almost every single weekend. Hell crazy.

Friday after work, was out with Weijie, Jingxiang, Ginger and Lychee for Karaoke session.
I'm singing more mandarin songs now!
Was funny seeing BFF drunk.
Something very new to me.

And today, i woke up at 11am.
Started to act up.(Desperately needing some alone-time)
Rot in bed for another 2 whole hours before deciding to make my own way down to Haji Lane for a little stroll, check out what's new over there, and also taking a few photos around that area for my Mandarin Blog.
Headed down to OCBC Recreation Club for more Karaoke session with family after that.
Had nice dinner.
Went home for about 15minutes, and out i was again.
With BFF and gang.
Where we went?

For a little midnight dipping.
It was kinda fun, relaxing.
I would wanna go back there again, at night!
Only that the next time would be clubbing at maybe Cafe Del Mar or something.
It seemed really happening from outside.
And i guess it'll be quite cool to club in casual clothes and flipflops for a change, instead of heels.

I have actually made a list of the people i need to meet up and catch up with!
Because they're important to me, and i miss them!

But i'm not sad, really.

I Hate People Who Walk Slowly In Front Of Me And Blocking My Way And Wasting My Time.
It just irritates me.
Oh, and i also wanna say:
I Also Hate People Who Refuse To Move To The Rear Of The Bus, Or the Middle Of The Train Cabin, Therefore, Preventing Other Passengers From Boarding, Which Results In Wasting Their(My) Previous Time.
Yeah, this irritates me too.
And sometimes i really wonder, is it a Singaporean way of life by being inconsiderate or is it the fact that Singapore, unfortunately, happen to have many inconsiderate individuals.
Train rides in Taiwan was so enjoyable because the people line up in two straight rows by the side of the door, wait for for passengers to get off, before entering in an orderly manner.
Obviously, all those courtesy campaigns in Singapore didn't work out.


I know i'm being extremely grouchy.
Blame is on the awful awful weather.
2am in the morning, you're in the living room watching TV and pespiring like a pig.
All the windows are wide open, mind you.


Then again, awful weather would mean something.
Yes, awful weather means DURIAN SEASON IS HERE!
And this is the time i go: Tis' the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
So, as i'm blogging, i'm working as well.
However, i would be switching jobs real soon.

I need a change of job because i have to make myself available at 6pm every evening.
Due to production, and other random dance related stuff.
I would miss my current job, but i guess i have to move on, for the sake of dance.


Oh, my bro made a new discovery yesterday.
It was Dad's birthday.
We had Chocolate Crepe Cake from that cake shop at Sunset Way.
Bro decided to pour a few table spoons of flaming Brandy over the cake.
Outcome was freaking awesome.
You really really seriously should try.
Any nice chocolate cake will do (:

New Perspective.

I am glad to say that ever since the Taiwan Trip, i've gained a new perspective on dance.

I used to think that being instructor-level was important.
And because of it, i was always very bothered of not being good enough etc.
Not anymore.

I realised that being able to teach is not everything.
Enjoying what you love is.
I enjoy just being able to dance.
I enjoy being able to express the music i listen to.
I enjoy learning, and the things to learn about dance is neverending.
I enjoy having the time to not dance and just listen.
Everything else to me, from now on, would just be a bonus and not necessary.

So what's this rat race to "get there" all about?
You have your whole lifetime to dance.
So take your time to listen and enjoy the music that's made for us dancers.

REALLY REALLY REALLY BADLY DESPERATELY NEED THOSE.

Good things, and bad things.

They happen.

What make good things good is when dreams come true.
And what makes bad things really bad is when the dreams you thought were gonna come true turns out to be something worse than when nothing happens.
(I hope im making some sense here, well i'm trying to.)


Recently, i thought a good thing was going to happen.
It was in the midst of happening.
But ended up not to be real.
I cried really bad for one whole night.
Teared at the mention of the event for about 3 weeks.
And a real good thing happened which made the tearing stop altogether.
Lucky for me, the good thing stayed.


Quite a long time ago, another good thing happened.
Good thing stayed for a while.
And only about a few days ago, good thing turned bad thing.
A few hours ago, bad thing turned worse thing.


What makes worse things worst is that you have friends together in the same sitution with you, only for them, its only been good things.
It's not really about the "bad things happen to me and not others".
But more like, the friends would notice you being in a bad situation, but yet would watch quietly and thank god that bad things aren't happening to them.
Well, at the very least they feel sorry for you too.
Just that you had to find out from someone else that the friends are sorry for you.


What a joke.
I guess i should still embrace it all with grace.
Man, i can be quite a baby sometimes.

The Arena

I think its like the dopest club so far.


Live bands are way cooler.
Guest DJ for the night was dope.
Music was great too.
Patrons all look quite presentable too, and look like their there just to have good, clean fun.

Went to Aston's Specialties @ Upper East Coast Rd with Weijie yesterday.


Steak there is good and cheap.
JJ who used to work there advised me not to get any veg because they wash it like typical restaurant style.
I guess the potato stuff should be alright.
I had Potato Salad and Corn on the Corb.



Corn on the Corb was very well made.
It was VERY VERY juicy and tasty.
I realised while trying to figure out how to eat it -whether by cutting the corn out, or biting into it-.


Of course i went with the non-wasteful approach first, biting into it.
So firstly, i sank my fork deep into the corn.
Juice squirt out in a thin, but powerful shot.
I looked around me to see where did the juice land, and the girl beside me suddenly rubbed her arms and looking at the ceiling.
(she prolly thought there was a leak in the ceiling or something)

Bad choice.

I looked down at my plate and carried on with the alternative approach and pretending like nothing happened.



But apart from that, RIBEYE WAS YUMYUM.
Should go try!

Identity Crisis.

I guess i would be too old to go through an identity crisis right now.
But i seriously think i am!

I suddenly realised that i don't exactly have a personal style, neither can i freestyle.
I NEED A BREAKTHROUGH!

CPT Dinner and Dance 2008

Well, it's time i blogged about that.
Its been 4 days since that glamourous night (:
So maybe i'd just take you through that day again.


I put this up on the night before because i was so excited i was so afraid i'd forget something.

That day, i was forced to make my way to town at the very last minute to buy a pair of new shoes. Why? Because i conveniently forgot to collect my shoe from the clobber the day before, and on wednesday, the stall wasn't open. Well, i got my shoes anyway, got a pair of falsies as well and headed straight down to my Uncle Andrew's salon at Orchard Plaza!

He decided for me a VA-VA VOOM hairstyle and got it done within 15minutes. And my Aunt Jac did a very hot make-up for me.

Not long after, Fatty Dor and Boss Xinni came.But it was too bad i couldn't stay to watch them transform as i had to rush off to the D&D venue for rehearsals and stuff.

Sang the song like 3 times.
Thought that i wasn't really up to the usual standard.
But to hell with it anyway.
Went to the hotel room to wait.

Dessert was great though, but still not enough for me.

During the program, Zhirong made many attempts to crack jokes.
But to no avail.
I thought it was funny!
All those wrestling-like introduction etc.
(Damn i was still hoping for a "The price is right" stunt.)
So everyone enjoyed the LECTURER AWARDS segment.

(I've received that notice for second appointment already!)


I DON'T THINK that the post-exams-stress would act up this time round.
Because i've seriously gave a hard thought about the things i can do after exams!
Of those, there would be the usuals like FEASTS, MEET-UPS, GOING FOR AND TEACHING DANCE CLASSES, DIY SESSIONS, SHOPPING and WATCHING DRAMAS!
The not-very-usuals would prolly be COOKING SESSIONS (i'll see if i can dig out my dad's cookbooks), READING MORE and LEARN DRIVING!


I MUST and i WILL achieve all these plans!

And it suddenly dawned on me that,
DAMN!we'll be going seperate ways in about a month.

Alright, today's gorging session was held at Miramar Hotel.
Restaurant called Ikoi.
Mummy was damn damn nice to make the reservations one week beforehand.
