Lots o' Love

Yes, even all-natural, classically trained, high-minded homeschoolers like a good candy exchange in the name of love. We got invited to a big valentine exchange and the kids had a great time. There was markedly less candy than a normal party--which was great. But, still there was plenty. And there were some really clever valentine boxes. Homeschooling kids are great--high energy and sometimes a little different, but overall very great.

Birthday Boy

You got a really cool geology kit for your birthday and had a fun time breaking up rock to find little gems and stones. And for your birthday dinner?. . . . Quiche of course. You are one quiche-lovin' boy.
We had a great space themed party--next year, I think we might celebrate your half birthday during the summer with your friends. Indoor parties are crazy!
It was a very active, loud party!! Jonathan Hyatt, Logan Neville, Adam Goold, Kyler Neville, and Ella Stevenson joined in the fun. There was a whole bunch of energy in a very little house.
And of course there was a game of "Attack Daddy!"--what birthday party is complete without Daman wrestling at least 10 kids?

The birthday quiche. The other kids were so confused when they saw this. They couldn't believe they weren't getting cake or candy. There were plenty of leftovers! (not that you minded)
