Scotty has a hard time getting comfortable in my car. He would much rather ride in Andy's truck with the bench seat. He finally got settled in....it just doesn't look that comfy to me!

More snow pics
Scotty and Shelby decided to check out the white cold stuff on the ground last Friday. Scotty wasn't real impressed but Shelby had fun running and sliding as she turned corners!

Mason was the only real brave one that wanted to play outside in the snow for hours (or I mean, until it melted.)! Alex and I lasted about 15 minutes!
Mason was so disappointed that he couldn't make a big snowman. But it didn't stop him from making a mini snowmen family!

Snow Day 2011
I was so excited this morning when Andy's cell phone rang at 6:15am. He said, "You got your wish, classes are canceled today." YIPPEE! I was thinking we would sleep in and then play in the snow. Mason ran into our room about 20 minutes later and loudly announced that it snowed! He was so excited he ran and woke Alex up. Which is a scary thing, because Alex needs his sleep! Surprisingly, Alex woke up happy and excited about the snow. We spent 20 minutes piling layers of clothes on so we could go outside and build a snowman like last year. However, after wondering all over the yard, we couldn't come up with enough snow to build anything. Therefore, we decided to go inside and have hot chocolate. Maybe it will snow more later today. Maybe?!

For Papa
We know it's taking longer than anticipated to heal and get out of that hospital. But you will be out soon and we will do all of our favorite things again!
Alex is doing one of his favorite things...playing on the ipad!
Mason is doing one of his favorite things...playing his guitar.
Scotty is doing one of his favorite things...being lazy on the couch.
We can't wait to see you on Saturday. We love you very much!!
