New Blog

So I can not post pictures any longer on this blog so we are moving things, see i still must have the moving bug, at least now I just keep it for my blog and my couches. I will tell the new blog website when I get it:) For now I will leave with this amazing quote I found on someone else blog.

"People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway. If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. What you spend years creating and building, others could destroy overnight. Create and build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give the world the best you have anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway."

Broken arm

I wanted to show a picture of Josh's cast and tell of our little adventure.
Last week as I had said earlier the kids were really sick, so I take Lexi in to the Doctor Wed. morning, while there Josh was a wild man, climbing anything possible, for one split second I turned my back to talk to the Doctor just as he decided to climb on the top of a chair and launch himself from one chair to the other. I did not see how he fell but he just kept crying and crying. What worried me is that Josh does not cry, he will cry for a second but he is to busy to really stop and wail when injured. The Dr. was positive that Josh did not fall on his head so we figured he had to be ok. The appt was not done and I was still helping the Dr. examine Lexi so I put Josh down on a chair, HE DID NOT MOVE, not an inch he just sat in the chair. Warning bells went off like crazy in my head. Josh will not sit, not for one second not for food not to play(I sound like Dr. Seuss!) When he just sat in the chair I knew something was wrong but I thought that I would just ignore it:). So we get in the car and we are on out way home when I also noticed that he was not making a noise, he was not screaming or kicking my seat, also HUGE red flags. I looked in the rear view mirror and I noticed that he was just holding his arm and whimpering. Hoping for a sprang I decided to get home and get both Josh and Lexi in bed. After naps he woke up happy and did not seem to be favoring his arm, happy I threw him and Lexi in the car picked up Sam and headed over to guitar practice. While Sam was at guitar I decided to go and visit a friend, while there I noticed that Josh would not put any weight on his arm and was favoring it. When Sam was done with guitar it was late I was tired I needed to go home and feed everyone but I just had a nagging feeling to have it checked. SO we ran over to the clinic the Dr. was closing the office but he was very kind and said that he would see us. Before he even got the Xray done he was showing me where the arm was definitely broken. Poor kids I felt so bad. The Dr. put him in a soft cast and once again we started home, we had not even made it 5 miles down the road when Sam informed that Josh had taken the cast off, DANG. I was too tired to turn around so we went home and then took him back the next day for another cast, 2 days later he pulled that cast off, I have no idea how he was able to do it. So we are on cast 3, he picked green because it was a tractor cast so grandma and grandpa Moyes got little tractor stickers for his cast and he loves them. Sadly I feel this may not be the last broken bone for this little man.
AGHHHHH just wrote this all up and I can not get it to load a picture. I will try again tomorrow!

November

November flew by so fast. I wish I had pictures to document, I do not. For poor Sam the whole first of the month was spent with her really sick. The poor girl missed 2 1/2 weeks of school. We are not sure what she had, I did not have her tested for H1N1 I figured if she had it that there was nothing we could do. The problem was at the end of her sickness she came down with pneumonia . I think just because her immune system was tuckered out and could not fight anymore. She spent Thanksgiving coughing her lungs up.
Good ole Lexi, had an interesting month with her, Lexi is really really independent, for those who are not around enough to see. Because of this interesting feature she will not let me help her with homework, she demands that I stay away while she "reads" me a book. I unfortunately have been falling for this. I went to Parent Teacher conferences where I was very sad to find out that she was not even at a KINDERGARTEN level for anything(she is in 1st grade) Her teacher who is so sweet and I feel so lucky to have was very concerned. I was blindsided because she seemed to be doing awesome when she would read out loud for me. SO after talking to her teacher I was determined to sit right next to her for now on and get her back on track. It was a rough first week, she does not like "help", but now she is doing so much better. She is still really behind her class but I do not doubt that she will be caught up soon. I learned my lesson now with her!
Josh is growing growing, he is head first in to the 2's, but we still love him! The poor boy broke his arm Wednesday. I want to get a picture of his cast and then I will post more of the story. I just feel so bad for him having that huge horrible cast on.

Funny story I want to remember

Sam and Lexi were supposed to perform at a football half time one evening, Steve took them to their last dance practice where he was supposed to have gotten their t-shirts for that night. As I was getting the girls ready I realized I could not find their shirts and Steve was still at work. I sent him a quick message over the computer, I was confused when he sent me a message back saying, " Well Lexi did have a stomach ache this morning."
So confused I read over what I had sent him, i could not stop laughing at what I saw. I WANTED TO SAY, "Did the girls get the shirts last night?" To keel everything clean I will just say that I forgot to put the r in my "shirt". Poor Steve was so confused why I was asking him that and why I was being so vulgar.

Halloween, Mesa Falls

Sam was a punk something , goth somethings princess girl, basically she wanted to wear this outfit so she made up a title. Lexi was a snow princess, and Josh was Napoleon Dynamite, oh and he was excited! Can you not tell from the pics? He actually was really upset because Steve had a costume and he did not like it, I loved it because Josh wanted me and not Steve, as soon as Steve took the wig off and then put it back on so that Josh could see that it was him he was all smiles.

Last Sunday we went to hike Mesa Falls, we froze but it was so Beautiful.
