j came down on me this morning online
and exclaimed tt i went clubbing and went off with a guy

i really had no clue how to react
just a thank you though
to the person who had to text j to tell him about it
and i know who did it
it was really kind of u to give me extra trouble

when in the first place. its none of anybody's business.
and 2, im not his gf anymore. so why should i be reporting to him.
and its even more amusing, that u told him immediately, as soon as u saw me.

but u just officially ruin his day and his weekend
that really wasnt very nice of you.

and butter factory yesterday.
was a pretty neat place i think. just not my cup of tea. im a spoilsport! :D

there was a rich man who went to this very nice village

and for every monkey they caught they would get 10 dollars

and so. the villagers caught the monkeys and got their 10 buckeroos
and hello, the rich man wanted many many much much moremore monkeys
so he told them, "i need monkeys desperately, this time i ll pay u 20 dollars"
and so they caught the monkeys and caught moreeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

and so on and so forth, and then!
the rich man had to go on a little business trip
he exclaimed to the villages
"fee fai fo fum, i smell the blood of an englishman"
haha no he didnt say that.
he said!
"hey hey i need to go on a business trip. i need monkeys more desperately,. this time you get 100bucks for every monkey u catch!"
and so he left!

and there were only a few monkeys left in the village
and the villagers were having great difficulty catching the monkeys

pause, im getting sick of telling the story
unpause.

and anyhows, the rich man's ka kia went up to the villagers,
and told them, that he actually has a lot of monkeys and he would sell them to the villagers for fifty buckeroos
and so the villagers got all the monkeys they could
and ho ho

the rich man nv came back
and the monkeys were actually the same old monkeys they caught

and dokays the story sounds stupid now.

Here's whats WRONG
and counterproductive to the healing process

Snapshot "conventional wisdom on sorrow management"
The six elements

1. Bury your feelings. IF you are hurting, stuff it down. Be sure you dont complicate things and make all your relationships messy with all your sorrow, tears and emotional turmoil.

2. Replace your loss as soon as possible. Turn the page. FIx it quick. Move on. You can deal with your sorrow by getting that new dog, buying a new bike, or finding a new girlfriend.

3. Grieve alone. When you are in the throws of sorrow, dont drag everyone else down with you. Pull yourself together, and when you are with others, grin and bear it.

4. Time will heal your sorrow. Time has a mystical power to magically heals all ills. Just wait and see, everything will be better.

5. Learn to live with regret. Often there is nothing you can do to go back and make things right. Just expect to carry regret and disappointment for the rest of your life.

6. Once you have felt the pain of life, you will learn to buffer yourself. If you are wise, y ou will
put up the necessary defenses and be sure you dont get hurt again.



God's wisdom on sorrow management

1. Be open with your grief. We grieve as those who have a hope that can never be taken away. We have hope in Christ and the promise of heaven. Jesus openly showed His sorrow; we should learn from his example.

2. Review your loss. Dont try to replace your loss immediately; instead, reflect deeply and allow yourself to feel the fullness of the loss.

3. Grieve in community. God's plan was never for us to go through times of sorrow alone. We need to be in community and draw from the love and strength of others. (romans 12:15 ' 1 cor 12:26)

4. The holy spirit of God heals hearts, not time alone. God, by his spirit, is our comforter and counselor. We need to seek Him in the healing process. (2 Cor 1:3-4)

5. Realise you dont have to carry regret for the rest of your life. God can lift the load of regret and guilt. He is the God of new beginnngs.

6. as christ followers, we never lose our ultimate treasure. Although this life can deal us with some harsh blows, Jesus Christ is our ultimate treasure. Nothing can take Him away. WIth this in mind, we dont need to get cynical and hardhearted.

i thought i had a mighty good time.
just wished the rest like elaine and chong, could have enjoyed it as much as we did.
was really glad though, to see chern finally let loose and have his fun.

but people should really appreciate things a little more. but thats just the way life goes right. sucky

If jesus is going to judge all of us at the end of time and if only He has authority to give life, His promise to escape this judgment must be credible because He is going to be the judge so He alone can determine who will be condemned and who will be saved.

Do Not quench the Spirit

The sense of warning and restraint that the spirit gives comes to us in the most amazing ly gentle ways. And if you are not sensitive enough to detect His voice, you will quench it, and your spiirtual life will be impaired.

Whenever the spirit gives you that sense of restraint, call a halt and make things right, or else you will go on quenching and grieving Him without even knowing it.
