september days

 September days...

Beyblades arena with Arvin and Christian.

Cadyn made the Top Seller lists in the Girl Scouts Spark magazine for both fall sales and cookie sales.

Grandma Joni always sends a gift for the other kids when it is a sibling's birthday. While I disagree with this on a few different levels, the gesture is rooted in love and inclusiveness and the kids of course love it.

Thanks to neighbors Darren and Brenda for letting us use their pool.

Rest assured, hands were washed directly after this cheek show.

Mmmm, Caleb makes a delicious chicken fried rice.

Cub Scouts popcorn selling time.

It is Cam's first year selling. He got brave at a few houses, but mainly let his brother do the talking. Sales were split evenly between the two of them.

Wrapping paper rolls are always peak entertainment [click here].

Trading sports cards.

I usually have the paper shredder tucked under my desk. I didn't realize the boys had never seen or used it. When I enlisted their help shredding a huge pile of papers, they were totally mesmerized [click here].

Book worm.

The cutest note left on the counter from the boys one Saturday morning when I woke up telling me they had walked a couple streets over to look for apples.

Cam said this is he and I.

I love how his mind works. [Click here] and [here] to see it in action.

The whole family loves pitching in to watch sweet Creighton.

Parent/teacher meetings for Q1 went well. The boys enjoyed showing me their rooms and hallway artwork.

Cadyn's Art Club painting was neat to see hanging in the hall during conferences.

I still can't believe my baby girl is in middle school and I asked for allll the pictures.

Always looking for palindromes to send the hubs.

Cadyn and MaryAnn worked with Miss Ann to complete their Junior Girl Scouts Bronze Award. This is the highest award a Junior can earn and requires a minimum of 20 hours of work to build a team, explore needs in their community, choose and plan their project, put their plan in motion, and spread the word to educate and inspire others.

These girls chose to implement a recycling program in the Engineering building at National Beef. They did a great job!

A cute diamond art craft from Aunt Mallory and Uncle Tyson.

Beyblades action.

Bakugon challenge.

Cadyn designed these bracelets from a jewelry kit from Grammy Nita.

MaryAnn and Cadyn presenting in Mrs. Cossman's Impact class.

Pitching practice.

Saturday and Sunday mornings are traditionally family snuggle time. Once Caleb and I wake up we call the kids in and generally the snug sesh starts with sweet cuddles and conversations. It quickly turns into a wrestling match and other madness because BOYS [click here].☺

I let the kids' teachers know at the beginning of each school year that I am happy to help with any busy work they have for the classroom. They do SO much and I enjoy helping take anything off their plate that I can. I love it when they send work home for me.

Alllll the sports in the living room alllll the time [click here].

Date night at the brewery.
