march days

 March days...

The whole family is continuing to enjoy my Christmas gift delivered monthly.

I love reading Cadyn's writing homework.

Cadyn's Art Club teacher had students participate in the Doodle for Google contest. Cadyn was very into it and spent a lot of time on the project.

The boys had a fun Dr. Seuss week at school with parents invited into the classrooms to read on Friday.

Gunnar's birthday party and an impromptu sleepover. The birthday boy requested his friends dress up nice and that they have a fancy meal.

Grandma Joni's lemon chicken recipe always makes us think of her.

Back from Disney World and happy to be back in the cool, crisp air.

This girl is absolutely devouring The Hunger Games book series. I remember diving into them as well when they first came out before she was born and I could hardly put them down.

A quick trip to Garden City and we got Teegs all geared up for travel baseball.

Quadruple date night and wine pairing dinner at Eclectic Bistro.

A nightcap at Boot Hill Distillery with this fun group.

Thanks to Cadyn's godparents, Ryan and Lisa, for always celebrating her baptism birthday.

Funny / memorable moments the last few months ::

Camden: "Are there playgrounds at college or do you just have to work all the time?"

Caleb: *flexing his muscles*
Tegan: "They're too big! His muscles are way too big!"
Cam: "But, seriously, why do they look like that?"

Scattegories is always a fun family game with Tegan having some very questionable answers.
Example: *something yellow* *letter D*
Tegan: *confidently* "Damia nuts. It's short for macadamia nuts."

Me: "Camden, you didn't eat the cheese puff from the litter box, did you?!"

Cadyn: "Minus! A-MINUS, Mom! Minuses are for people who don't work!"

Cam: *looking around at his messy bedroom* "Mom, can you help me figure out where everything goes? I'm an active person, not an organizer person like you and Cadyn."

Cam: "I just love my stuffies because they are all from a special place we've been. They each have a special memory."❤
