Graham, the Vermonter. (You know, on the way to make furniture or snowshoe or grow something organic.)

If you ever wondered how Molly's doing, she's just fine, thank you and ever the princess (despite Jen's new hard line dog whispering).

This video highlights a few interesting Graham trends: bossy book reading, obsessive song repetition and grunty un-talk. Plus, Jen's really cute.

Finally! Thanks to Jen we can join the legions of other family bloggers broadcasting their kids every move to the world. Here, we archive evidence, nay, proof, of Graham's super-palate.

Almost spring- I swear. And we went outside. Hooray!

I'm starting to hate the Children's Museum, at least a little. We go a lot, but it's the most frenzied place you can imagine. Today we met our friends Aimee, Xavier, and Tilly, which was lovely, but it's hard to have a conversation over the ear piercing shrieks of several hundred small people.

Still, we've made strides in our use of the museum: we spent some time outside chasing seagulls and checked out some exhibits that had seemed out of G's league in the past.

I'm getting concerned, however, that some of the "actvities" might be leading the kids to a life of crime. Exhibit A: Graham and Tilly plot their escape, only to learn the car is stationary.

Exhibit B: The three then mastermind an escape via plane. Check out how serious (and devious) they all look.
Good weekend, everyone.

The Concierge

Graham is just tall enough to see out of our windows. He's realized, smart boy, that climbing a chair gives him better views, and, well, that's what he does now, 53 times a day. The cycle goes a little bit like this: Climb (kid) chair. Watch neighbors go to work; watch garbage truck go by; watch construction on next door's porch. Then, generally, he falls/climbs off. He sometimes even moves the chair to a different window, just to make sure nothing exciting is happening from that perspective. Between him and Molly, we have a fine set of watchdogs.

Well, the temp has broken 40 degrees for two consecutive days, and I confess that I have a little spring fever. (Yes, I know more snow and cold will come, but, shut up, ok?) Graham and Molly and I have been out for truly long walks for the first time since those 50 degree days in January and the perennials in our yard are starting to push up buds. I bought Easter treats for Graham yesterday. I think we will survive!

Today, my bookclub is meeting: it's 6 moms plus toddlers, so there's not actually a ton of serious conversation. I do admit to a lot of serious snacking, however. Saturday, we're headed to dinner with friends who have 3 (count 'em) kids under 3 years old (twins and a singleton). It's a good place to go when I'm starting to feel cocky about having another baby.

Good Weekend, Everyone,

Ps. G is starting to seriously work on growing hair. Check it out.

What we're up to:

eating and reading at the same time. Best. multitask. ever.
climbing anything that will hold still long enough to be climbed (including parents and Molly).
playing in the indoor playgym of desperation (while mamas pray for spring)

Ps. Doesn't Graham suddenly look about 4 years old?
