The return
of this blog as well as the continuation of
You know you're a mom when.......
72. you have to trade your cute sporty car for a car that has more room so you hear less fighting in the backset
73. you have constant déjà vu because you pick up the same toys and wash the same clothes constantly
74. you have sat in the freezing cold watching a baseball game just for that little face to look up at you and smile knowing you are there to cheer them on
75. you have gotten yourself so dizzy that you’re nauseous from spinning again… and again…. and again
76. you get a dog even when you promised yourself you never would because those little teary eyed faces begging for one are impossible to resist
77. you have a very long list of things you wish you never had to say
78. you wish someone would put you in a time out every once in awhile
79. your childrens grandparents are not the same people you grew up with
80. you have to take a new approach at the park when kids are being mean
81. you realize you are the “grown-up” that you were always reminded to go find when someone was being mean even if you don’t feel like it
82. sleepovers are not fun anymore just a lot more anxiety
83. you realize your mom was telling the truth about pretty much everything and you didn’t really now anything
84. hearing the phrase “don’t worry mom…” is not reassuring
85. anything can be used as a weapon and hurt if thrown by a child
86. you no longer look forward to Fridays you look forward to Mondays
87. you know exactly how long it takes to load the kids in the car and get them to school
88. you have spent hours looking for a lost toy just to put that smile back on that little face
89. you have argued with a 3 year old only to find that they are winning
90. you have eaten more cold meals then hot ones
91. you have gone in the laundry to open a candy wrapper just so you don’t have to share
92. you realize kids are ALWAYS listening and have a talent for repeating things at the wrong time
93. you have a favorite but nobody will ever know who because it changes daily
94. if you need a break the best thing to do is tell them to go clean their room because it’s never clean
95. anything is easy to learn if it’s put to music
96. you had to have been more mature then your own kids because they still seem so young
97. pre screening a movie is always the best idea even if it is a kids movie because you may not want to hear the catch phrase over and over and over again
98. no matter how much your kids have other kids always have it better
99. holding a brand new baby is as close to heaven as you can be
100. DVR was invented for a mother’s sanity
101. being able to go to bed early is way more fun then staying up late
102. you find yourself taking care of the animal you didn’t want even when they promised you wouldn’t even know it was there
103. the quiet game is your favorite game not just because you usually always win
104. Family vacation is not your idea of relaxation
105. you can be the meanest person on earth as well as the nicest person on earth all within 5 minutes
to be continued.... (hopefully a little sooner then this time)

My Princess
Once upon a time not too many years ago...... 4 to be exact.... a beautiful Princess named
As she grew older her true inner Princess started to show
Everything from pink to pretty dresses
to tap tap shoes she had it all
Even the sassy attitude
In what seemed like a blink she went from a baby girl to a big girl
within one year she was potty trained
got her ears pierced
went to Disneyland and met some of her favorite characters
hugged her favorite princess
went in the tube on bear lake all by herself (much to her Grandma's dismay)
started a dance class & entered preschool
she even braved Santa's lap
and also the dentist
What a big girl indeed she was turning into and her family couldn't be happier.....
