CoCo loves Sakae... LOL

In my previous blog, I mentioned that I went to watch Coco before Chanel. It is a good movie (at least to me, it is) ! Her childhood was kinda of gloomy but she still has hope and positive thinking despite being dump in an orphanage together with her sister by her father. And also of the life she went thru; being a singer in a seedy pub with her sister, being used, being a lover, being a mistress.. but she stand firm for what she believes in. Her sense of style. At that time she already had a vision ahead of her times. She had an immaculate taste and her own individual style. She drew her inspiration from her surroundings and incorporate into her designs. She is a true icon in her own right. She is always seen smoking a cigarette in the movie. If there is Chanel brand of cigarettes,I will definitely buy it ! LOL
I totally respect and appreciate Coco Chanel. Merci, Madamosielle Coco.

Upcoming activities

Right now I am doing my nails and I will post pics when I am done.

Upcoming activities : Go Cenosis treatment tomorrow afternoon, dinner with Winnie @ Sakae Sushi and after that go watch Coco Before Chanel at GV Vivo with Winnie. I am so excited about the movie. I have always love this brand. I like their clothes, accessories, and make up. So far I only own one lip gloss from Chanel and that's about it, hahaha... Sheesh.. I need to own more make up as those are the things that are affordable to me FOR NOW, what with my miserable salary, their clothes are out of reach FOR NOW .. LOL. At least I still can tell people that I do own Chanel (lip gloss) in a way =) .

The word “Chanel” immediately invokes a sense of understated beauty and opulence.

“Coco Avant Chanel” tells the love story of the woman behind the word, Gabrielle Chanel. Not only a document of what ‘Chanel’ has come to represent today, “Coco Avant Chanel” tells the story of a humble seamstress who grew up in a poor, rural household and went on to become a legendary couturier as well as a classic symbol of success, freedom and style

Audrey Tautou brings to life a woman who fought to break free from the oppressions of the confines of her time. Tautou shows us a little girl send to an orphanage who waits in vain for her father every Sunday, a cabaret performer with a weak voice who sings to an audience of drunken soldier, a young, skinny courtesan, to whom protector Etienne Balsan offers a safe haven, amongst the idle and decadent and a woman in love who knows she will never be anyone’s wife

With the assistance of the Maison CHANEL, who opened their archives and collections to the production, “Coco Avant Chanel” presents a rich tapestry of a life’s work and legacy, featuring original costumes which illustrate the quintessential style of Chanel from its inception onwards.

Directed by Anne Fontaine (The Girl from Monaco) Coco Before Chanel, stars Audrey Tautou (Amélie, The Da Vinci Code) in the title role, along with Alessandro Nivola (Junebug, Jurassic Park III), Benoît Poelvoorde (In His Hands, Podium) and Emmanuelle Devos (Kings and Queen, The Adversary). Loosely based on L’irrégulière by Edmonde Charles-Roux, the screenplay is written by Anne Fontaine and Camille Fontaine, with the collaboration of Christopher Hampton (Dangerous Liaisons). The producers are Philippe Carcassonne (The Girl From Monaco), Caroline Benjo and Carole Scotta (both produced the Palme d'Or winning The Class).

So if you are interested to know more about the founder/designer of Chanel, go watch it in the cinemas now.

Singapore Toys, Games & Comics Convention 2009

Updated with photos***

I have been trying to post the pictures I took at the convention in Facebook. But for dunno what fucking reason, i just simply cannot upload ! I give up.. so i will just blog here 1st w/o pics also becos I cannot upload it here as well !! major sucks!!

After my slimming treatment at TJP, I rush to Suntec to meet my gf. Before we go to the convention, we went to have lunch at Subway. My bf arrives, after that did a little shopping for my gf's colleague's b'day and bought a very nice Adidas new range tote bag. It really looks classy , reminds me of Chanel bag. Sorry no pic of the bag..cos I forgot to take.. LOL.

Finally, we proceed to the convention.

This year's convention is rather disappointing, seriously. Though I still get to see my favourite artists and designers, plus I have a friend who has a booth there. Actually is the company that he is working for call Movie Mania. They are something like an event company.

There is also a Cosplay competition for the 2 days (15 Aug & 16 Aug). But I did not manage to take much pictures of that because I wore the wrong shoes and my feet got blisters. Totally mood spoiler ! Well I still manage to enjoy the day with my darling bf and my gf. After that went for dinner at Fish & Co. I did not eat much cos i share a meal wif my gf w/o spoiling my diet plan. LOL but i was so full from all the ice water i was drinking.. Booo ~

That about ends the Saturday. I will update this post with pictures when everything is loading properly ... Haizzz

Excuse me, can I have an XL size please ??

Passed by a boutique recently and saw a pair of very nice pants, so I ask the sales girl for a XL size. She looked at me from head to toe and said to me smiling : Our biggest size is only until size M.

WTF! Ok fine. I don't feel like buying already.

I always have a love-hate r/s with my body size. Sometimes I love being plus size because I manage to get clothes that fits me and some times I don't. I have tried all sorts of methods to slim down : diet pills, supposedly-will-work-wonders diet kit...you name it, I tried it . There is even one time, I took a type of diet pills from my family doctor and the side effect is ..... you will shit out the body fats and you CAN see the 'oil' floating in the toilet bowl !! Not only that, when you have the urge to fart, the 'oil' seeps out and it will stain my panties. I have no choice but to wear panty liner every day!! Super gross !! And my weight always bounce back and I will be 'twice' the woman I am. And also I cannot resist good food. Is very hard to lose weight like this. Oh God, I guess I have to resign to Fate *cries*

Until one day.......I come across Cenosis and their latest Cavitation treatment.

What is Cavitation?

Cavitation is the latest technology in slimming. It makes use of stable cavitations to obtain the best results by breaking fat cells membrane through the bursting of micro-bubbles. The complex fatty acids are then broken down into simpler fatty acids. These simple fatty acids can then be passed out through excretory system.

What Happens During Cavitation?

Important Notice:

Armed with a team of physiotherapists and N2 License from National Environment Agency (NEA), Cenosis is proud to be the first slimming centre in Singapore to use the Cavitation technology!

I am really fascinated by this Cavitation treatment thingy !! Finally something that can really make all my fats GONE !! Especially for lazy bum like me because I don't exercise at all and partly due to my knee problem , there is no need for me to sweat it out at the gym and I won't risk hurting myself in the process.

Well, I have decided to give it a try...... WAHAHAHA ! And I already signed up for the slimming package, lovingly sponsored by my boyfriend ! Isn't he sweet ?? He actually agreed to pay for my slimming leh.. I am really lucky to have him :D. Before you all jump to conclusion, he seriously loves me the way I am now OK ! Because he loves me, that's why he is willing to sponsor as I have been whining about being fat, he can't bear to see me being miserable. Furthermore we are getting married next year !! OMG, if I slim down it will be the best wedding gift ! :)

By the way, Cenosis have other type of slimming treatments too. Therefore by combining with Cavitation Treatment, how can you not slim down ??!! There are no ugly women, only lazy ones !! So what are you waiting for ??!! Christmas ah ??

Make an appointment with Cenosis right now, to find out how you can benefit from this wonderful technology at a special price of $33. Call 7000 700 6626 or visit www.cenosis.biz/cavitation.php to make an appointment.
